I get it was busy but checking people in instead of accidentally checking someone else in that came in afterwards isn't the best impression. I needed something for an account and it could have been partially resolved there but then I was told to call customer service. I guess if you're not signing up for a plan then you're less priority. Brought in my iPhone for an insurance repair. The screen was damaged, but still operable. It only…read morehad a white shining light down the side of the screen but still worked as it should. I dropped it off and received a phone call within the hour saying they had damaged the screen trying to take it off and it was completely inoperable. When I explained that the phone had not been backed up recently and asked if there was any way to transfer information off it, the employee told me the only way was to pay $100 for a "temporary screen" so that I could back it up before getting a replacement phone. I understand that the phone should've been backed up in the first place, but I wasn't aware of the possibility of the phone being completely inoperable once they started working on it. Unfortunately I lost some pictures of a recent vacation and the employees assured me the only way to retrieve them was to pay the $100. I ended up turning down the option and losing the pictures but the whole process was very frustrating overall.
