Poor customer service from several managers. Manager, Jesse showed that he didn't care that Trenton needed help to get software onto my new computer. Jesse offered me all kinds of excuses. The truth of the matter was many managers were goofing off, not working, while not anyone of the managers helped Trenton to install Trend security, Microsoft windows, Turbo tax, Bing desktop, and etc. We have been regular customers at Best Buy since 2000. BEWARE OF TRADING YOUR PHONE IN AND GETTING YOUR REBATE. We turned in two iphones in sept 2023. I have the receipt showing a $2,000 rebate for the special they were running if you bought the new iPhones. After months and months of going to the same location and speaking to them about the trade in on the iphones, they only gave us $255 rebate. We turned in two, show $2,000 for our rebate price, one iphone was fine this other iPhone has been nothing but a battle, and their best is $255. I HAVE THE RECIEPT, DATE, AND TIME WE WERE DROPPING THESE PHONES OFF. This isn't the only time we have had issues with being wronged with Verizon, which is why we went in person to the Wendover store in Greensboro Nc. I am from PA. I am staying in NC currently with work. I ordered a new phone plug and chose curbside pickup. I didn't realize there were two Verizon stores within a mile of each other. I went to the Wendover store and signed in. I wait. And waited. And waited. Finally I went in and a woman immediately came up to me and I said I would like my pick up order. She said I was at the wrong store. I asked where the other store was and she told me to google the address. Very rude. They would have let me sit in my car even though it was a nice sunny day and could have walked out to see what the car in the curbside pick up spot needed. read more

The absolute worse. This store consistently stunks. Customer service is hit or miss at best. And it's mostly missed. Just stood in line for 30 min for a 3 min question. I saw 2 people never get greeted and 2 separate people barge ahead and get helped. Smartly, they left. Finally i got helped. The guy I got was surly and spoke as if I should not have the audacity to question him. I asked about my storage which is rapidly declining (planned obsolescence and all). He took my phone said the antivirus &, juice defender are "pointless". I asked why and the answer was they just don't work. Okay...that makes sense. Then he deleted data before I could object. So all my saved web searches are gone. No question. And his attitude really was borderline rude. Look customer service people, I know some customers are jerks. But it is your job and the one YOU chose. I wish I could give negative 12 stars, but yelp doesn't make that possible. The last time I was here, similar experience. I got the best customer service I've ever gotten at a Verizon store today from a young man whose badge said his name is Andy. He was so positive, knowledgeable, friendly and incredibly helpful. He took the time to help me fix my phone and patiently answer all my questions in a way that I could understand. When I had to go back and ask for help a second time he was endlessly patient and never made me feel stupid--although I know my questions were. He was terrific!!! He made me feel like a valued customer and even more important, he made me feel like he cared about me as a person--not a "sale"--( which sadly, is not always my experience at Verizon stores). However I will not be back inside another verizon store do to the "rob me signs" on the front door. Beware of this location!!!We just traded in my husband's galaxy s3 or so we thought we did. We never got a receipt for the trade and I felt funny walking out the door without a receipt. He sold us on the new Edge program saying that all we have to do is trade in his old phone so we should have still gotten a receipt for it. I called Verizon as soon as we left asking what the protocol is for going on the edge program and if in fact you don't get any money for your traded phone and long behold he was suppose to give us a value for the phone and take it off the bill. So we marched back in demanding a receipt for the trade and he miraculously says that he "forgot" to do that. Just beware when you trade in an old phone that you might be getting lied too. Such a shame to have employees lie to loyal customers like that. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I had to visit the store 3 different time and one of the associates had an attitude with me. I kept visiting the store because the people I called online told me to but he had a huge attitude. He kept talking out the side of his neck even when I wasn't working with him. The white guy( I do not know his name sorry) and the manager tried to help me while the other associate was talking shit. It got to the point where I started talking shit back and called him a bitch. He kept going on and one. He's one of those type of people that has to have the last word. He lucky I can't cancel my order and go to a different company. That is not how you EVER treat a customer and I will NEVER go back to that store. I will also tell my family and friends to NEVER switch to Verizon. The people you employee is a representation of your company and if Verizon is acting like this, I don't want anything to do with them and I will inquire about canceling my order again tomorrow. I have been to this location several times for phone issues, but yesterday's experience was the best. My Samsung S5 stopped charging, so I came in on Super Bowl Sunday. Dwayne was on hand to troubleshoot & offer suggestions. This is the 2nd S5 I've had & it had the same issue. Dwayne determined it was a phone issue & offered a swap. I asked if I could upgrade. He said I was eligible & he talked to me about a Samsung Note5. It's bigger & he hasn't had any issues with his Note5. He helped me with the upgrade & gave me a play by play (well, it was Super Bowl Sunday) of what I could expect. Dwayne helped me choose a cover & screen protector. He went over my billing & within 45 of entering the store, I walked out with my new phone. I would definitely work with this salesperson again! read more

If not for Mary Leitzel, my review would be far fewer stars. After the rudeness of the sales lady in my local High Point Verizon, I drove to Greensboro hoping for better service. I was not disappointed. The lady on the phone for tech support set up my new smart watch incorrectly. Then I go to a "non corporate" Verizon store to be told I have to go to either the crappy one in High Point again or the one in Greensboro on Wendover avenue. I had little hope that the 3rd attempt would go well, but I needed my device to work, right? Figuring that the day after Christmas was going to be a hot mess, I waited until after lunch and the wait wasn't too bad. The 37 minutes on hold with tech support with Mary wasn't phone, mind you...but she had a really cool personality and kept me engaged the entire time. At least they had some good music playing over the speakers. Back to my watch...after confirming what I knew..the first of 3 people to touch the phone set it up wrong, Mary and the tech guy got me synced, registered and up and running. I can promise that I will never step foot back in the High Point store and will take the extra drive to Wendover Verizon from this point going forward. I am a new customer to Verizon. I only ported my service over because my sister recommended me after getting "exceptional" customer service. I have been going back and forth with customer service and store representatives trying to get my switcher credit (Mastercard) to pay off the phones that i traded in. I called customer service, told the representative that i got my final bill and i needed help with the steps. The rep transferred me to another rep. By the end of the call i spoke to 4 different employees and nothing was done. So I took my final bill into the store to get help completing the steps. The rep told me that everything was done and the card will be coming in the mail in the next few weeks. I finally got back in touch with my sales representative who tried to help me but the code had expired. This is very frustrating because my previous carrier has sent my final bill to collections. I am in the process of buying a house and now i have to pay that balance off then contact credit reporting companies to remove that negative mark. I work two jobs and have two small kids that take up all of my time. So it is costing me money taking off work to handle this matter. If i do not get this issue resolved, i will be contacting the BBB to voice my concerns. The sales people lied to me and told me that I was getting $50 off of an item if I made a purchase. I later learned that the retail price was the price I paid, and I did not get the item at a discount. I also purchased an iPhone Plus which I am unhappy with. I have never had an iPhone, and was unaware that they came in multiple storage sizes. I was not told this when I purchased it. I was given the smallest amount of storage...now my phone is full, and I am unable to put any of my music on it. I would have gladly paid the extra money to purchase a phone with more storage. It would have been nice to know this earlier... I also got home and realized the car charger that I purchased was not put into my bag. I went back to the store and they did replace it with no questions asked which was good. I wish that sales people would just be honest. Nice store. Employees always dressed professionally. However slow service and I mean slow. They don't have a check in system or anyone to greet you and check you in like the wendover store so you have to sort of wander around until someone notices you. They always try to charge you for anything. For example they charge you for a SIM card even though you're a customer and 1800 tells you to go to a store to get one for free. They charge you to transfer your contacts they charge you to activate a phone but will negotiate the price very shady. Verizon wireless has the best call service. The phones are very durable. There are many different types of phone that you may choose from. In my opinion Verizon has very good call service compared to other phone services that I have had. With Verizon I receive majority of my calls regardless of where I am and less dropped calls. Reception is the greatest "Can you hear me now!" On the other hand their plans are not the best. You have to get the data package plan with a lot of their phones. No rollover minutes neither(BUMMER). One thing that I do like is each additional line that you add to an account is only $10 more a month. Customer service for the most is pleasant and helpful when you need some service. Verizon wireless service is more reliable to receiving your calls anywhere versus other phone companies. read more
