This is a corporate store and we were directed to go here by customer service and have someone trouble shoot a phone issue. We were confronted by the front end greeter who later claimed he was the store manager. His name is Mario. Its hard to believe he can be a manager. He was hostile, adversarial, impolite and rude. And those are the good things I can say about him. Made no attempt to understand the issue or help. Unfortunately, now that they're owned by Verizon since January the service has really gone downhill. Our Internet drops repeatedly. We have to spend a lot of time on the phone with someone in India. They're offshore all their service text to India so that they can pay them less than a living wage and they try to charge you $150 to come fix something at your house when their equipment doesn't work. You ask them for a refund for the time it doesn't work and they have to put it through the bureaucracy. Really crappy customer service. Too bad Verizon ruined a great local company. read more

Today we came to get my wife Jennifer a new iPhone. After we were checked in, we waited a few minutes for the next customer service representative. Aica greeted us and immediately started to answer the many questions we had. Aica was professional and extremely knowledgeable. We got the phone we wanted and Aica helped us transfer our contacts and our photos. Everything was super easy and laid back. We were treated very well here. BECAREFUL!!!!! They clearly prioritize their commission over helping customers. I specifically asked for the fastest WiFi plan, and even though it wasn't available at my address, they assured me I was getting it. Instead, they sold me a cheaper, slower plan just to make a sale. Total waste of my time and gas. The behavior felt misleading and aggressive when I questioned it. Avoid Manny in particular and double check everything before agreeing to anything here. I walked into this Verizon with 15 minutes left before closing. I was provided with assistance right away - had me signed in to be assisted with the next available customer service. We knew what we wanted to get so once we were proved with a sales associate, things moved quickly to secure a new phone and we were out the door in 30 minutes! read more

This location has the worst customer service, especially from the so-called customer service manager Mario. I've been a customer since 1994, but I'm switching over to Spectrum. My friend switched to Spectrum 8 months ago and has not had any problems. I'm able to save $200 per month on the three lines that I have. I see that this Verizon store has the lowest ratings in Southern California, which explains why it ranks worst among all local stores. After I posted this, I saw that I gave them a bad review a few years ago. Boy, am I glad that I am switching carriers today. I only find one person(Ms Sandy) offered exceptional customer service. Others, they find you as potential preys. Their customer service is awfully bad - they don't receive and return calls for the issues you've got from them. You have to see them in person, which will cost you lots of valuable time. This Verizon store seems to have a teamwork approach to customer service. I had a power button issue with my phone yesterday. I had the phone for a long time, and it was time for an upgrade anyways. Brit(ney) helped me get a new phone without having to trade-in my old one. She additionally hooked me up with stackable promotions that included a 2T back-up plan, and my monthly payments will remain the same. She also confirmed certain parameters of the overall plan, auto-pay, and pricing with a couple of her teammates who assisted enthusiastically. Brit also conveyed to me the current Verizon/Frontier internet promotion where they will pay for the first 6 months, provide faster internet, and all at a much cheaper price than what I am paying now! I had to go pick up my Daughter, but will be returning today to change my internet provider to Verizon/Frontier with Brit's help. Brit displays exuberance, friendliness, and courteous professionalism in an environment that is potentially vulnerable to much stress. read more

I was here last week to open a business phone line and internet. Everything went smoothly but one thing that was outstanding was the person who was helping us. Her name is Aica. She was the nicest representative I've ever met. She made a lot of extra effort to make sure we get the best deal and speed for the package we selected. She was super friendly and enthusiastic in what she does which made our experience very comfortable. If we need any changes for our service in the future we'll definitely come back here again. DO NOT trust the sales staff at this Verizon store. What happened to me and my sister feels like a deliberate scam. When we signed up for service here, the sales associate (his name is NAVID) confidently told both of us that Disney+ and Netflix would be free for life as long as we stayed with Verizon. He even said I could pick an extra perk and that he'd waive the cost for the first month. I didn't bother choosing another perk because I wasn't interested -- but I trusted his word on the streaming benefits. Fast forward just three months, and now I'm suddenly being charged for both Disney+ and Netflix. I reached out to the same associate for answers, and he completely changed his story -- now saying the perks were only free for one month. That's a blatant lie. Here's the kicker: my sister, who signed up at the exact same time, was told the exact same thing. Two people. Same day. Same false promise. This wasn't a misunderstanding -- this was a premeditated sales tactic designed to mislead. What's worse is that this kind of dishonest behavior damages trust in a brand I used to believe in. I feel cheated, misled, and genuinely angry. If this is how Verizon trains or allows its representatives to behave, it raises serious questions about their business ethics. Be careful. Get everything in writing. Don't fall for the same trap we did. If you've experienced similar issues, report it. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had with Verizon, and I've been a loyal customer for over 23 years. I walked into the Verizon store at 16401 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach, CA and saw three employees standing around doing absolutely nothing. Not a single one greeted me, offered help, or even acknowledged me. When I asked for assistance with setting up a new line and switching a phone, one of the employees flat out refused to help. His excuse? "We're closing in 5 to 10 minutes." They weren't helping anyone. They weren't busy. They were simply standing there, staring at the clock, doing everything in their power to avoid helping a customer. On top of that, I had just come from the other store at 18922 Beach Blvd where another employee told me they were having "technical difficulties" and couldn't help either. Then he casually mentioned it was his last day, as if that somehow justified not lifting a finger. So I drove to another location and still couldn't get anyone to help me with something that should have taken five minutes. This isn't just poor service, this is complete customer neglect. It's laziness. It's a failure of responsibility, training, and basic professionalism. Verizon has seriously fallen off. The level of apathy and disregard I experienced today is absolutely disgraceful. I am canceling every service I have with Verizon. I am cutting off all four of my mobile lines. I am canceling my mobile hotspot. I am canceling my landline. After 23 years of loyalty, I am done. Verizon clearly does not value long time customers anymore. I hope someone at corporate reads this and actually feels something. Because if this is what your brand has become, then it deserves to lose every single customer who gets treated the way I was today. You should be ashamed. read more

BLACK FRIDAY SCAM My phone is acting up and due to the Black Friday sales I thought I would look into deals. I am a very happy T Mobile customer. I called, to gain access to their promotion which was advertised with three devices at a total of 100. The agent assured me that the total monthly payments would be $107.00 taxes and all fees included and no hidden costs. He also assured me that he would discuss it with the next agent. Once transferred the agent agreed that the total was as agreed upon. It was not until I shared all my personal information and credit info that they would give me the contract that significantly increased to $135.00. Juan, the supervisor was not helpful and was a waste of time speaking to him. So I will be staying with T Mobile. I do not have these SCAM issues with them and they honor what they quote. read more

Mariel went ABOVE and beyond to help. She gives all of the details around promotions so you recognize exactly what is on your bill. She talks to you about what you actually need and gives advice based on that. Mariel is a wonderful human, who cares about people and your experience and is so so so helpful in making sure you're happy with what you're getting. I will continue to go back to her, and highly recommend anyone to work with her. I would send my grandmother to her and know she would take care of her. I really cannot recommend her enough especially after some unfortunate interaction I've had at other locations with other Verizon employees where I would never go back and would encourage others not to go as well. Horrible experience with trade in. Came in and Michael helped me. He said the trade in was an easy process. When it came to payment, beware that your monthly payment will NOT show the itemized details when i asked why my bill went up $20 a month. It took continuous back and forth for almost half an hour for him to finally tell me that it was the insurance increase causing this additional charge. If they would just have the monthly subtotal itemized and explained, it was be more helpful for the customers. Now i get the phone and Michael said i can go home to activate it, but nope I can't. The new phone I have in my hand is now apparently in "pending orders" so I have to come back to the store to do a refund before I can FINALLY activate my new phone. This information was not disclosed and customer service is terrible. read more
