I had an absolutely outstanding experience at the Verizon store in Cornerstone Square. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. The level of service here is on a completely different level -- professional, knowledgeable, and refreshingly customer‑focused. They handled my needs quickly and efficiently, and the entire interaction felt smooth and stress‑free. What really stood out was how proactive and friendly the team was; they went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. It's clear they take pride in doing their jobs well. After visiting other locations that were less than helpful, coming here was a breath of fresh air. I can see why so many people recommend this store. A big shout out to Zak and Katy for their total lack of help. I wish I had read the reviews before I went to this store. To make a long story short, the order was wrong and they would not fix it or even speak to the Verizon rep on the phone. As for Zak, he was being rude to another customer when we walked in and had no problem doing the same to us. I would have confronted him there but you can't fix stupid. Especially stupid that doesn't listen and thinks he is doing you a favor, at least that's what he kept telling us. Avoid this place, I would drive many miles to never go there again. read more

What a bunch of lying turds. You'd expect more from a manager, Ian was his name. We came to pick up a FIOS order to only be told they only had one item (purchase) and the set top boxes weren't on my order. I was downgrading from 7 to 5 so they were losing money, very convenient to only have the one thing that makes you money. Up selling at its finest. They were very unprofessional and juvenile, I expected more from them. My email receipt showed I was returning 7 but getting 5 so why does your system tell us another story? It's a FIOS internal game to cancel orders and rewrite them to get the commissions for themselves all the while completely screwing and inconveniencing the customer. He offered me 5 boxes that won't work until later in the week when we have to call and have them activated. It's torture calling Verizon because they ignore why you're calling but only look to upsell you on stuff you don't need. Notice a theme here? We told them to screw, left with what we came with and went next door to Xfinity who is 40' away and they sold us on a new 2 year contract with great customer service read more

1 star "Not good" is right! Avoid this 4 Cornerstone Sq, Westford location! After reading other reviews as well as my personal experience this morning, I am so glad I didn't take my business here. We upgraded (via trade-in) my wife's phone on Verizon account chat with an agent. We were actually leaning to doing this at the store. And again the reviews here for this specific transaction calling them out for their scammy behavior validates my feelings about this place. To complete the trade-in (including transferring all the files from the current to the new phone we just received yesterday), my wife visits this store. Before the visit, Verizon agent told us to go to this location for the above services. My wife goes and sees Zack (Zac?) who told her they don't do this and have never done this in his 5 years being at the store. So, my wife calls me and loops me into the mess. Regrettable I got involved. I could have saved from having a bad morning! But, glad it happened. Educational. To uncover a bad store never to do business here again in my book! My wife calls and I ask for Zack. I tell him why my wife is there- for file transfers before we can complete our end of the trade-in/upgrade transaction by turning the phone in at Westford location which was the most convenient and vetted by location by the agent. Zack tells his piece about the store not being a "corporate store and needing to go to the Burlington mall location" and continues on and on and doesn't let me speak- at which point I tell him "Would you listen, please" (admittedly, maybe a hint of annoyance but was respectful in my tone). I was going to tell him that this is the store Verizon agent told me to go, blah blah- which I never got to tell him! Zack becomes emotional and turns to my wife as I overhear and says "If your husband is going to be rude, I will not talk to him, blah blah." This is no way to treat anyone let alone a current or future customer. I am not sure how this type of snide comments are in the vocabulary of a salesperson who is not a rookie but a veteran who's been at the store for 5 years plus. Now, if one is disrepectful and nasty to another, it is the receiving end's choice to return the favor. But in no way did our dialogue warrant anyone stating anyone is being rude. End Result: I confirmed with the Verizon corporate that 4 Cornerstone Sq, Westford location should be accepting these services that I requested. As that's something neither party wants, here are my options. 1) Verizon corporate will email me the shipping label, remotely transfer files with a tech engineer working remotely, then send the current phone to the communicated address in a labeled box 2) Go to another nearby location, perhaps Acton. Or if I want, to be sure to prevent this again, go to Burlington mall location- a corporate location. If it is true that only corporate locations accept trade-in phones, then all you had to do is educate the customer! A regular customer- especially when they are instructed to follow one way doesn't know the different nuances of corporate store vs 3rd party/privately owned store. I called back the store and another colleague repeatedly says the "corporate office is wrong. We are not a corporate store. We don't accept trade-ins." For a everyday you and me (customers), we don't care. Perhaps that's something you may want to clear up with the Corporate and better communicate to the customers what our expectations should be! Again, the bigger problem is the total lack of disregard for what a good customer-service relationship dialogue should sound like. Nobody said this is easy! As customer, I am only trying to do my end of the bargain, respectfully. There's no place to make comments that can only divide customer-service relationship. This the WORST customer service I have ever encountered. The sales rep tried to sell us a 'free' upgraded phone. Well....when the paper work was ready to sign is said nothing of the sort. The new 'free' phone upgrade was clearly being billed monthly to our account. When I questioned the sales rep on this, all I got was confused dribble coming out of his mouth. He was clearly caught trying to scam customers so he could personally pocket the difference. I was appalled at how they treated the elderly customers as I waited. It is SCAM CENTRAL ! Please stay away from this location and just drive up to the Nashua corporate store. Below find the 3 issues we faced: 1. This store charges you a $50/phone device fee - for literally doing nothing. This is different from a device activation fee that Verizon charges.When we requested a refund and return our merchandise, we were told that there would be a $100/ phone restocking fee. So we were SOL! 2. When we came home, we found that all the devices were enrolled in Verizon insurance plans - thats $15/phone/month - ballooning our monthly bill. That is a level of swindle action thats unacceptable! 3. Moreover, the store manager Ian didn't wear a mask the entire time we were there and as a household that works in Healthcare, there is no health condition that causes someone not to wear a face shield or a mask during a global pandemic. For such a simple task as returning a set-top box, I had to make multiple trips to the store since they did not accommodate their internal error of slow updates and refused to show any flexibility for graciously dealing with it. 2. There was a very rude associate (named Ian). He even refused to follow Verizon instructions (as I showed him in my printed email from Verizon), claiming he will not do so since that he does not work for Verizon??? 3. Also, he tried to convince me to switch from ATT to Verizon, incorrectly saying ANY phone can be adapted to Verizon by unlocking. Did he really not know that GSM and CDMA phones are not compatible, or was it intentional? read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! It is difficult to know where to start to review this store. Unfortunately, there seems to be no concern about customer service nor customer satisfaction based on the negative reviews that have been posted. One other post also listed some of the points below however this review is to confirm what was stated in that post as well as to provide additional insight. This is important information to know before you choose to do business with this store: 1) This is NOT a corporate Verizon Wireless store. It is an authorized agent, so their policies and fees are different. 2) If you plan to purchase new equipment from this company/location, they will not tell you that they are not able to sell equipment outright. Your invoice will reflect the lowest amount allowed to finance over a 2-year period (e.g., $20.00). This would not be the case at a corporate Verizon store like the one in Nashua. 3) Pay close attention to your receipt. A $50 "Device Set-up Fee" will be applied even if you choose to set-up the device yourself. They claim that this fee is included on "their agreement" that you have likely signed and did not see the statement about this fee. When Verizon Wireless was contacted about these concerns, they contacted the store with me on the line. Verizon Wireless was not aware of these practices since IM Wireless it is NOTa corporate Verizon Wireless store. Corporate Verizon Wireless was very helpful and did what they could that was within their power (details will not be provided here). DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE "VERIZON WIRLESS" LOGO OUTSIDE THE STORE. This place is absolutely terrible. I went in to purchase a new phone, and the sales rep informed me that they were offering a special promotional deal: buy a new device and get $250 off an IPad. The sales rep assured me there was no catch, so I bought the IPad as well. Sure enough, there on my bill was the catch; I had to add a phone line on the IPad for TWO YEARS! They never mentioned this; if they had I would have just purchased the IPad from Apple. They refused to acknowledge they had misinformed me and told me to call Verizon to ask for a refund. My cell phone broke and I figured I would just take the plunge and buy an iPhone 5s which I realize are hard to find these days due to them being so new. The girlfriend stumbled upon this place on her lunch break, thinking it was a Verizon Wireless Corporate store and not one of those resellers. They did in fact have an iPhone 5s (32GB model) that they were selling for $800 ($50 more than retail value, which I understand being that they are not a Verizon Corporate store). The big problem was, when my girlfriend went to pay, naturally using a credit card, they informed her that they would only accept cash for the transaction telling her that was the store policy when somebody was not renewing or opening a new contract. Who has $800+ in cash with them? This sounds extremely sketchy...are they not putting this phone sale on their books? Who knows? Not me...and I didn't really want to find out. I did however look into/call MasterCard, Visa, and AmericanExpress who all were interested in obtaining contact information regarding this store as they were in violation of their merchant credit card agreements with all of these credit card companies. Apparently, if a store accepts these particular cards, they HAVE to accept them for all purchases, with few exceptions that do not fall into this particular category. About the only thing places can do is offer a "Cash Discount", which is the case with a lot of gas stations. The store owner called me later that evening trying to explain his policy...to be really honest, it doesn't matter what YOUR policy is. You signed agreements with these card companies that you have broken and I hope that you lose the ability to accept charge cards. read more

Over-priced, deceptive Beware of this store. They use misleading selling tactics, charge high restocking fees on returns, use technicalities to avoid taking returns, steer customers away from the phone they want to other phones they sell that must have better profit margins (or maybe they like collecting restocking fees on the many returns that must result from their sales tactics) and their prices are higher than discounters like Best Buy and Amazon. They advertised "this week only" a "free" Verizon tablet. Supposedly you pay $50 and get that back in a $50 rebate and then pay $10/month for 2 years for wireless service for the tablet. When I went to pay, they charged $70. The extra $20 was for the sim card they said. Okay, $20 is still a good deal, but why did you say it was free? Sleazy. I paid the $70 and took it home and it did not work at home on the Verizon network. My cellphone was working right next to it, but the tablet had zero bars. It turned out that this tablet lacks the ability to roll down to 3G or 2G operation when it can't get a 4G signal. And there is no 4G in my house or out in my yard. No where was this disclosed in advance! You get a Verizon tablet, you expect it to work on the whole Verizon network, like your phone, not just those spots that happpen to have 4G service. As a mobile device the tablet is next to useless, since service drops in and out as you drive along. And when you get to your destination, it may not work there. And I'm not talking about a remote area. I am talking about Boxborough, Acton, Lowell, etc. So, I tried to return it. Their response was (a) $75 restocking fee and (b) no refund on the $20 sim card and (c) no return at all without the box. And of course, even though they had told me the sale was ending the day I first got the tablet, when I returned it the next week the sale was still going on "this week only." Sleazy. read more

Recently, I had an awful experience with this Verizon store in Westford. Twice they told me I could cancel one device at no penalty and then add a new device. So I went ahead and paid for the new device to be added to our plan. They gave me a number to call Verizon to take off the old device, and Verizon said the store's information was incorrect. I would have to pay $140 to cancel the old device, which I no longer need! I went back to the store and complained to no avail. I then wrote a letter to the manager explaining the situation. He/she never responded. I stopped in again and they told me the manager had made a decision and nothing would be done. No apology and no explanation. Terrible customer service!!!!! And how sad that you can't trust the information they give you regarding your plan!!!!! (for some reason Yelp says I'm from San Francisco. I'm 5 minutes from this store in Westford. Buyer beware scam artists to put it nicely! Went in the store 3:42 Sunday afternoon looking to add an additional line and iphone11 as a Christmas gift to for my daughter. I went to the store on nov 17th to avoid the Black Friday rush! Needless to say I paid an additional $186 dollars. I went home and reviewed my physical printed receipt and then viewed my receipt online. Somehow two additional lines were added to my bill and two activation fee's for a total of $90. I went back to the store Monday morning At 9AM to work out the additional charges on my account. At 11:30 AM I was still in the store. No one could explain the original charges on my bill. No one could do simple math to refund me anything close to the $186 dollars I paid on the day prior. The owner was called what a joke he could care less about customer service. It is no wonder he employs people like Kyle that take advantage of customers. Real Verizon was called and I was treated like a human being. They even tried to talk to the store and asked for the refund of the monies paid. Store explanation that is not the policy! I returned everything to the Westford store took the financial hit of losing money. I learned my lesson I will only work with Verizon corporate locations. read more

I thought I'd stop to write a big Thank You to the staff at the Verizon Store in Westford's Cornerstone plaza. I was working in the area and since the store was there, I went in to make some changes to my account (remove a user/try to save $$), etc. The young man who waited on me listened to what I had going on, told me what he was going to do to fix it and then did both his part and called the company from the store phone so that I could complete the changes without waiting or even leaving the store. My cell was broken and all I wanted was new battery- no new phone. The polite sales person said they didn't have parts, I would have to go on the internet to get parts, I needed a new phone. So, he talked me into getting a Note 8 w/ promo of a free Tablet. I paid for the first month and grip case. Days later, I received my monthly phone bill. I was charged one time start up fees ($73.05). This was NOT disclosed by the store salesman when I was at the store. I called Jessica/ Verizon. She found my receipt which indicated a $00.00 balance for all one-time start up fees for cellphone and Tablet, there were new monthly cell charges (which I agreed to), I was charged for a phone grip case (which I wanted), it said I declined the insurance (which I did) and it indicated the Tablet would be free. She said I should get my $ back through the store since these fees were not disclosed and it was proven by the paperwork. She asked me to email her after I visit the Verizon store.  I visited the Verizon, Westford spoke w/ the store manager because the sales person I dealt with wasn't there. The manager was unhelpful, quickly dismissive of me, he refused to reimburse me even though he saw the agreement. He said his sales person would have told me about the charges. I told him that Jessica/ Verizon said I was to get a credit. He said Verizon Corporate can't help me because they don't have anything to do with his store, everyone knows there are always one-time start up fees, it's just a mistake that it wasn't documented on my sales receipt/ invoice. I told him this store does represent Verizon by the sign on the store, I didn't agree to extra fees as it clearly indicates this on my paperwork. Why would the sales person be so specific (and accurate) as to document that I declined insurance and there's a zero balance for start up one time charges? ....It's because one time fees wasn't discussed..... The store manager finally said he would talk with his boss and call me back the next day. I attempted to contact Jessica/ Verizon. SHE NEVER CALLED ME BACK AND SHE BROKE HER PROMISE TO HELP ME.  I ALSO NEVER HEARD BACK FROM THE WESTFORD STORE MANAGER. I then contacted Casey/ Verizon who looked into my file. She acknowledged I was a valued customer, she listened entirely before making judgement, she reviewed the document, she wanted to help me. She said the wireless store shouldn't have charged me because it reflects a $00.00 balance and not all documentation was properly signed. I now feel like someone listened and I was a valued customer of Verizon. She gave me the credit for the one-time start up charges. I just wished the followup promises weren't broken by Jessica/ Verizon and Jeff/ Manager. Thank you goes to Casey/ Verizon for listening. read more

it was 3pm, midweek. My wife and I stood, confused, wondering what phone product to buy. There were three salespeople in the store enjoying a private conversation. We asked for help. The salespeople seemed annoyed that we would interrupt their conversation. None of the three stood up to help us with our product choice. My wife asked for help a second time. In response one of the salespeople, a young 20 something guy with a strange haircut, turned to his colleague and said, "Is it eight O'clock ... closing time .. yet?" Need I say more? DECEPTIVE! BLATENTLY OVER PRICED!, GO ELSEWHERE! Owner- Imiran, lacks integrity. He has a big, beautiful, expensive storefront and is clearly trying to make his money back. Do not shop here; you are likely to pay much more than any other local Verizon retailer for phones and accessories. Please read Jim E's review as well. I had a very similar incident recently. They over charged me $80 for my new Galaxy. And charged $39.99 for $29.99 glass protector. I had simply trusted that all outlets honored all the same prices. I learned a lesson. This franchise owner is blatantly overcharging and offering deceptive deals like the "free" tablet which they were pushing on me. They also wanted to change my service plan claiming it would save me money. It would not have. I called Verizon to complain, but apparently, these individual franchises are allowed to set their own prices. In commendation, Verizon offered to reimburse the restocking fee. IM Wireless was even over charging on the restocking fee! They charged $50, when Verizon said the restocking fee should have been $35 dollars. When I then returned the next day to IM Wireless I spoke to the owner about the overcharge. He was not at all apologetic and even threatened to ask me to leave when I asked for a price adjustment. He then offeted to refund only $50, so i choose to return the phone and went to the Littleton franchise where they were a joy to work with. I had my iphone 5 for about a year when finally after the 10th fall or so the screen on the phone cracked. The crack was in the corner of the screen and hardly effected my ability to use to phone. About 6 months after this cracking incident my phone started doing this weird thing where it would create a yellow box around each icon on the phone and continuously move back and forth and up and down. It happened on the home screen and any app that was open. It was extremely frustrating so I went to this verizon wireless store in westford which is close to my house and work hoping to get some guidance on how to resolve this problem. I had tried to google the problem and do some self-help online stuff but nothing worked. I entered the store at about 11am on a Tuesday afternoon there were 2 guys working and when I first walked in they were both helping another customer. No big deal I will just look around at the phones. 15 minutes later I am still walking around... I decided to just ask one of them to take a look at my phone because they wern't going to come to me. The man was very polite and said he would be right with me. I waited about another 5 minutes for him to come over and I explained to him my yellow box problem. He said he had never seen it before and took about 60 seconds looking at my phone and the settings app. He then proceeded to take my phone into the back room and come out moments later saying that his "boss" said that it was broken because of the cracked screen. I explained to him that I broke my screen 6 MONTHS ago and this just started happening today. He went back to his boss and came back to tell me it must have just started effecting the phone due to the fall 6 MONTHS ago.... AHH OK DUDE. I literally just took my phone and walked out, clearly they had no idea what was wrong with it. I proceeded to take my phone to another verizon wireless store in Chelmsford who was able to quickly diagnose and fix my phone in under 5 minutes. So basically don't go to this location if you need help with you phone. read more

Wish I had checked these reviews before going to this store. My daughter had a 5S with insurance. She lost her phone and went there to use the insurance to get a new one. I believe they took advantage of her because she was young. They did not apply the insurance and in fact changed her plan and told her it was only going to cost $30. They charged $30, but they charged another $700 to be added into the bill. So the phone cost $730. I call Verizon's 800 #, and they said with our insurance my daughter should have received a new phone for $169. They told me to call the store as we have 30 days to cancel the contract. I was told they would call me right back. Have not had a call. I've called a few times and now they don't answer. I am going to go into the store in person, and I am going to file a report with the BBB. read more

IM wireless will be happy to sign you up for a Verizon account but when issues arise (and they will), they will be quick to inform you they are independent of Verizon and can't help you. I'm giving this store 1 star only because I cannot give it zero. I'm so sad I didn't read the previous reviews to avoid going to this store at all costs. I would rather drive an extra 1/2 hour than have to go to this store ever again. I had to trade out an old cable box. I didn't have to pay for anything or look for a new set top box. I just had to switch out the cable boxes after I spent 1/2 hour with someone on the phone making the arrangements earlier in the week. I called ahead to see if the new cable box could be "ready" since I was driving 25 minutes each way and had my young kids with me. The very impatient employee on the phone told me they would not have it ready for me because the inventory is all there and I would simply just switch it out when I got there. When I arrived there was a line of people all getting new phones. A 1/2 hour process at a minimum for each of the 3 people ahead of us. There were two people working and my kids and I ended up waiting AN HOUR (one person in front of us ended up leaving) to switch out my cable box. Something that took 5 minutes when I finally was waited on. The associate that helped me could see how upset I was and waited on me even though he was waiting on 2 other people at the same time. So not only was he helping me, but then was cutting into their service experience. These poor employees. The man who helped me was really doing the best he could under the circumstances. Shame on the Verizon management team and regional management team for not reading these reviews and making the necessary changes to fix these issue. And shame on them for putting their employees in this position. Those associates aren't getting paid enough. After a full day of fuming over this debacle, I called the store to give the manager my feedback. He couldn't have cared less. When I asked for a regional manager, he said he was it!!!! My feedback fell completely on deaf ears. Verizon needs to call in the cavalry to save this store. I have been going to Verizon store in Westford for last five years and never had any problem with my phones or the bill. I got cell phones for myself, got fios service and stopped by several times to ask question and the employees are really nice to work with. read more

Imran is the best when it comes to wireless. He is very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I have also worked with a few other people at IM Wireless in Westford and find them to be the same. They also took care of my FIOS for me with no problem. I would highly recommend IM Wireless for all of your wireless and cable needs! read more

I was completely misled by store personnel. I was told my new phone and plan would equal the same price as my previous. When I got a bill from Verizon two days later, it was 50% higher than promised. I went back to the store and said I couldn't afford this, but the same person assured me that this was a one-time transfer cost and my bill would be what I expected in the future. Well, next month the bill was just as high as before. Went back to the store where the manager said he couldn't do anything because it was past the return date. I explained that I had come back within two days but had been assured the cost would be lower, and that's the only reason I had kept the phone. He still wouldn't help. He said my only option was to buy out the phone and contract for several hundred dollars. The store personnel are either dishonest or poorly informed, and they do not make good on their promises. Please be warned! You do not want to do business with this store. It is a franchise and Verizon is not responsible for the deceptive practices at this location. Last year I purchased 2 phones and paid upfront $300 for 2 years of insurance. After 1 of the phones broke, I returned to the store to get a new phone. I was told the insurance company went out of business and therefore I was not covered. I was never contacted or offered the opportunity to buy new coverage. They claimed to not be responsible but could offer me $100 off a $600 phone. I left and went to a real Verizon store who spent an hour working to help me get a new phone for $60. Using the insurance documentation I saved from last year, I researched the company and found it might not even be a valid insurance company or might have already been out of business when they sold me the insurance. I've filed reports with the BBB and the Attorney Generals office to hopefully prevent this from happening to others. read more
