Last week, I inadvertently did something to my I Phone and my email froze so after going to a different Verizon store where the employee there tried to help but made it worse and then going to the Apple Store where I was told it wasn't something they could help me with... I was frantic. I had friends try to get my email to come back up on my phone to no avail ... and so I took a chance and went to another Verizon Store ( on Hwy 111 in La Quinta). Boy was I glad I did because not only was Kareem extremely cordial & friendly but he had my phone issue fixed within 5 minutes! He was awesome... and I am truly grateful to him. He's the best!!! I was given conflicting information, which was frustrating and a waste of my time. If you're looking for honest and consistent customer service, this wasn't my experience. My husband lost his phone today and had no luck with the Find My Phone app. After hours of searching we decided to go buy a new phone which we dreaded oh so much. We were expecting maximum pain with endless sales pitches, problems moving the data over, wait times, etc. but to our delight and surprise, we experienced none of that whatsoever. We were helped immediately by Anthony who guided us through the process of selecting a new phone, the plan and the transfer of my hubby's ICloud data lickety-split, and we walked out rather easily with a new phone all set up. My recent visit was one of the best as manager Diego went above and beyond to assist me. He is a great combination of skill, professional and polite demeanor with multitask skills. Verizon is an incredibly unethical company. I had a 55 plus plan for my wife and I and was happy with it for several years. We travelled to Europe a few months ago and added the international plan for one month. After 4 days it stopped working, so I contacted Verizon for help. Only text support was available, so on a 2 hour chat they told me the 30 day plan had expired after 4 days and I needed to sign a new one and sent a link for me to approve. It looked like a new plan so I did not sign it and made it very clear that I did not want to change my base plan. They assured me that would not happen and asked me to approve the link. When I did they changed my base plan to one that is 60% more expensive and has fewer features, such as no mobile hot spot, plus slower data. I called Verizon as soon as I returned to the US and they agreed what happened was wrong, and promised to fix it and discipline the agent for being fraudulent. Nothing happened so I repeated this call 3 more times. By the 4 call they then told me that it had now been over 30 days since the change was made so they could no longer put me back on the old plan. Unfortunately we live in an area that is not well served by other carriers, so we are somewhat stuck, but I will continually check services and move when possible. I went in to get a problem on my phone fixed, I had accidentally deleted files that allowed me to update apps and pay online, including using my online banking. The two workers on 11/8/25 could not help at all, they said they were both very new to Verizon and did not know how to fix the problem. The one I was talking with even blamed me, the customer, for the problem, I had already taken blame and was there for the Verizon specialists to help me with the problem, which I understood was their job. I was sent to this store as it was 'corporate' After 13 years as an outstanding customer, I decided to move my 3 lines to Spectrum. I drove about 45 minutes to get to this location. I did all the necessary paperwork. And went over to a spectrum store. They told me that they needed the last 3 months of itemized bills. I drove back to this 'corporate' store. Waited in line for 30 minutes. Then spoke to the original salesperson. It was a woman, I don't recall her name. I asked her for the past 3 months bills. She immediately told me that she could not help me as I was no longer a 'customer' and she walked away. I was flabbergasted. I asked for the manager and he printed out 3 months of bills, but they were not itemized. I asked why and he said that was the best he could do. Since then I've been speaking to Verizon on the phone and they repeatedly said they would mail me the paperwork. NOTHING has arrived. Part of the spectrum deal was that they'd reimburse me for any outstanding payment on our phones. I was given one month to get them the info. It's now passed that date. I went back to this corporate office and they would not help me. DON'T use Verizon for your cell service. read more

My clerk was uninformed. His manager seemed better informed and I came home and called Verizon and it turns out BOTH of them were wrong. No one knew about changing phones and keeping the same plan. They have no idea what FREE TRAVEL PASSES are in The APP BAN K, and could care less I left without an upgrade. No wonder there is only 1 corporate store left in the entire Coachella Valley. While my experience could have been better, both managers listened to me, I felt heard and was very impressed with their concern and responses. I returned to this location, as I was directed by Verizon on the phone.I made an appointment and was on time. A woman greeted me and asked what I was there for. I told her that I needed the past 3 months of detailed bills.She had me enter my ss# and then told me that Spectrum should have told me to get these at a prior time. I wasn't told that by spectrum, and I was at her store to get these printouts.She told me that she wasn't able to do this. I asked for a manager and she said he wouldn't be able to help me.She did go up to the manager and he explained to her that she could override the system. She then went to the back of the store and a few moments later tossed me the paperwork that I needed. The manager was on point. She was rude. Sorry that I wasn't a 'sale' but her attitude sucked. This combined with a trip to this store a month cemented my thoughts that Verizon isn't a company that I would return to let a lone recommend. Completely unhelpful customer service. I came in today around 6 PM to ask a question about my account. I unfortunately left my government ID at home however I had my Verizon phone on me. Immediately when they found out, I didn't have my ID, they said they could no longer help me at all. They couldn't even help me answer any general questions not related specifically to my account. There were more workers in the store than customers, and none of them seemed to want to help at all. I asked the manager to come over and help given the circumstances however, he just reiterated that he can no longer help me at all because I didn't have my ID. I understand the stores may have policies, but it doesn't preclude them from trying to help answer general questions. Completely unhelpful store I'll never come here again. They LIE. Customer service is terrible and condescending. Recommend NOT to do the business plan. You can then only get help Monday thru Friday during bankers hours. I set up a return for the Wi-Fi gateway that was horrific and when I got to the store, they said they had to charge me a $50 restocking fee or else they wouldn't accept it. They also then offered me a box and a label and then reverse themselves and said oh I don't think I have a box... Horrible horrible service save yourself a lot of time and aggravation. I am an 18 year Verizon customer. I went into the Verizon Store in La Quinta to upgrade phones for my wife and me. I gave this guy that did not want to be there on Sunday morning my phone number to look me up. He said he would need my ID. I offered the photo on my phone which he assured me would not be OK. We left that store and went to the store in Palm Desert and bought two phones. I have owned several businesses with hundreds of salespeople. if any one of my employees handled a customer the way I was handled in La Quinta, they would no longer work for me. I wasted 45 minutes waiting for help. Manager was going to help, then said she would be right back. She never came back. This location doesn't know what customer service is, and I will never set foot in this store again. You are better off going online and upgrading or changing your phone and service. It is not difficult to transfer your data from your old phone to your new phone. I am close to cancelling Verizon Wireless entirely, and I have been a customer before they were Verizon Wireless. I recently switched to Verizon from T-Mobile due to an advertised $800 trade in bonus toward a new device. The expectation was that my partner and I would take advantage of trading in our older iPhones for an $800 credit toward our new iPhones on Verizon's network. 1st Day Experience (12/30/21) - We both walked in at around 6pm when the receptionist checked us in. It was an estimated 30 minute wait and when we finally saw a salesman, he was eager to sign us up both with Verizon and give us the $800 trade-in promotion for the iPhone 13 Pro Max. What he DID NOT disclose to us was that once we shipped out our old devices, this was considered FINAL and we would not be able to get our old devices back regardless of the circumstances. Biggest Mistake Ever Not only have we incurred poorer cellular service both at home and work, but our monthly bill is $150+ compared to $80 on T-Mobile's. Mind you, we couldn't even enjoy a family plan since only 1 member on a plan could get the $800 trade in promotion. We had to establish two separate plans which amount to $300+ in total. I tried contacting customer service and scheduling an appointment but both methods resulted in having a callback / appointment available as soon as next week. I also tried walking into the Palm Springs and Palm Desert locations but both of the sales reps said there were unable to assist with providing me a booster device to improve my poor cellular reception and that I head to a CORPORATE store location, which turns out to be the LQ store (the only one in the valley). 1/17/2022 - I walked in to this store yet again to speak to the sales rep who signed us up. Lisa, the receptionist directed me to call customer service and said that this location was working off appointments only. She didn't even bother scheduling an appointment for my issue. Long story short, Verizon was eager to sign me up for their lackluster service in the valley. Not only did I lose 2 traded in iPhones that I can't get back, I'm now having to pay almost DOUBLE the amount per month compared to T-Mobile. FYI - that $800 Trade-In credit is spread out over the course of 24 months. It is applied to your monthly statement rather than a lump sum. If you attempt to pay your phone off in full or cancel your plan early, you basically lose out on your traded in device. BEWARE read more

Danny the manager got us in even though we didn't have an appointment we did have a recommend from corporate customer service. Cat is the resident apple master and helped me right away. So efficient and knowledgeable! Very happy I stopped there. The other nearest store is Beaumont California. My only regret is I lost my original Sim card, and I guess that is an important thing since it's basically the hard drive This store gets an A+, with only one exception: letting homeless people and vagrants come in and use the demo phones for free phone calls is not cool. This is not the mission or the shelter, we pay premium to use their services and the clientele should reflect that. I'm not an elitist, but the vagrants and transients have taken over this state, and this would be a good place to start. The manager whose name I believe was Victor just wanted to get rid of me and said he had no appointments left for the day.
