I had a very disappointing experience at the Verizon store. I came in looking for assistance with upgrading my phone and expected some level of customer service and problem-solving support. Instead, I felt like my concerns were brushed aside. The sales representative, Angel, seemed bothered by my questions and did not appear interested in helping me understand my options. I was also disappointed that there was little effort made to assist with my trade-in. Rather than working with me to find the best solution, I felt pressured toward options that were not in my best interest. Customer service should be about helping customers navigate issues and providing clear information, especially when making a significant purchase like a phone upgrade. Unfortunately, I left feeling frustrated and unsupported. I hope management addresses these concerns and focuses more on customer care and service. I can't say enough about how helpful Alex was at the Verizon store on Washington Street. I walked in with some billing related issues regarding a phone upgrade and walked out with my problems solved and with an even better solution than I had anticipated. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE Unfortunately, I have to leave this review. I came in with my 80-year-old uncle to get help with his phone and see what options were available. While we were there, the staff informed me that I was eligible for an upgrade as well. Looking back, I regret ever coming to this location. We were given inaccurate information throughout the process. My uncle was told he needed to upgrade his phone when, in reality, he could have received a replacement through his insurance. As for my account, my upgrade was never properly processed. I was charged full price for my phone, there was no record of my trade-in, and Verizon had no documentation showing the upgrade had been completed correctly. As a result, I spent three days on the phone with Verizon trying to fix the issues created by this store. I would have preferred to return and address it in person, but I was only visiting Palm Springs and do not live in the area. Please be extremely cautious before doing business here. Based on my experience, this retailer was not equipped to properly handle account changes or troubleshoot even basic issues. If you want to protect yourself from costly mistakes and ensure your account is handled correctly, I strongly recommend visiting a Verizon corporate store instead. If you do end up going here I would avoid Philippe at all cost. My 80 year old uncle is now unable to use his new Galaxy S26 and they would not help him learn it. Joel greeted us with a smile upon arrival, was knowledgeable, hospitable, asked good leading questions, and offered best options for how I use the phone, from which I selected a Samsung Galaxy. He had the phone in stock, applied screen protector, transferred data from old phone to new, helped select new protective case, charging cube and cord, updated our group family plan, and we were done within an hour. When I arrived I was told the technician would be right with me. Right with me = 60 minutes. There were 2 other customers, the last of which spent several minutes asking the same bloody repetitive questions that he answered. Several times. When I said something, he rushed over. Should have said I was buying something. The session was rushed and he was impatient. He spent all of 10 minutes and then rushed back to the customer when she said she had a CC. He mumbled he was done. And so am I with this store. As I walked out the door, he rushed back to tell me that I could come back if I had any more problems. Damage control for crappy service. This store is either full of liars or incompetent agents. I had a fully paid off phone and when I told the agent I would only trade it in for a phone if the full credit was applied so I could pay off the phone he reassured me that it would work that way. After the first two bill cycles I called back to ask when the credit would be applied because I wasn't seeing anything on my end they told me it would take one more cycle. When I called back after that third cycle they then told me the credit would be deducted monthly and that I was locked into a plan for 2-3 years unable to return the phone or get my old one back. So basically they screwed me out of $1000 and a fully paid off phone. read more

The guy that "helped", and I use that term loosely, was rude and just did not want to be bothered with our problem. He tells us HE can call customer service and get us on the phone, so we say ok and then he tell us to use our phone and dial a number... why would you say you are going to call customer service and then tell us to do it. He was so dead set on wanting to know where we bought our phones from despite our issue having nothing to do with that. I accompanied my Auntie J.S to her 12:00pm appointment that she had to talk with a rep at the store. I signed her in because of her disability. They didn't have the proper chairs to sit on and those chair stoles are very uncomfortable and not safe, for seniors or people with disabilities. Ricardo assisted us and my Auntie stated why she was here, he then went to her notes on her profile and told her that he couldn't help you with your billing, your old phone that you return had the discounts on it, but was told back on November 2023 that her monthly cell phone bill would be high for a month but then go back to her original billing per Terrence. Ricardo started to raise his voice in an arrogant way in front of two other customers including myself, and a co-worker. My auntie ask him for his name which we got it towards the end of our visit, Ricardo said It irrelevant for us to have his name in a rude tone, then my auntie told me, I need your name so that when I call customer service they will know who helped it. So we left the Verizon store and went to her car and within a few minutes of Talking to Melissa with Customer Service we received at text messages from Verizon stating that my Auntie's Device protection has been removed from her account at 12:23pm pst, which she did not give Ricardo permission to do so. Beware. Ask for a receipt. Read your receipt. They wouldn't have given us a receipt if we had not asked. They added insurance coverage without asking my 80-year old mom. They added it with the purchase of a glass screen cover. This is their standard practice. As my mom said, "What do I need with lifetime coverage?" I may not be here another year." I just had a very good experience at the Bermuda Dunes Verizon Wireless store. We used to go to the LaQuinta store but were so tired of being rushed through, not being told of a lot of charges that they contradicted when it came time to sign the line. We worked with Christian and he was very professional, very patient with my questions. He gave me the charges and they were what he said they were, no surprises like at the LaQuinta store. He told us that he was almost done and that he would help us soon. We waited for an hour and half for him. He never communicated with us with anything. We left. INSURANCE SCAM BEWARE!!! I went into buy a pay-as-you-go Apple 11 promax. I was helped by the assistant store manager Daniell. Daniell tied to sell me on a contractual policy and told me that if I didn't want that and I wanted to go pay as you go I would have to buy insurance on the phone. The premium for the insurance was approximately $80. After concluding the deal I didn't think that that was right that I was forced to buy insurance on something that was mine I went back to the store to query the charge. Daniell was in the store and he told me that he had told me that I had to buy the insurance on a pay as you go which I clearly said you have to buy it in order to get a pay as you go phone. I didn't think that was right so I called corporate I found out that this is not the truth and after going back-and-forth with emails and telephone calls go wireless called me and asked me to come in for a credit for the insurance scam. Went to this store to get an upgrade on my phone. Gave the salesman my pin code, and showed him that I was the administrator on our company's account of 30 phones. He wanted my driver's license or a state issued id. I recently renewed by Driver's license so I only have a paper ID right now BUT I did have a copy of the expired license with my photo, etc. Salesman would not accept this because the Driver's License was expired. After going around and round with him about the temporary license, etc., I then explained that the purpose of an ID was to confirm that the person standing in front of him is the same person in the photo - the person hasn't expired, just the right to drive did. Then I provided my state issued health card, and he would not accept that because it didn't have a photo. After waiting about 10 minutes for the manager to mosey on out (I was the only person in the store), he was incredibly rude and would not let me say a word without interrupting me. Then I discovered that he was not really the manager. I asked for the manager to call but... Ended up ordering a phone online WITHOUT ANY ID and received it via Federal Express the next day. GET OFF YOUR POWER TRIP GUYS and PROVIDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

Today I popped by this Verizon Branch to see if I could get some help setting up my new iPhone. I had a feeling I could do it with no problems by myself just by logging on to my iCloud, but because I was in the neighborhood I took a chance. Upon entering the store, an employee named Storm greeted me, was incredibly friendly and helpful and went out of his way to get me not only set up on the new phone, but also in my car on the bluetooth. What a fine young man he is and an excellent example of top notch customer service. What a difference it makes to be treated nicely with a large company that has so many branches. Beware staff does not know anything about customer service nor anything about there own company. I made the mistake of going in and assuming they knew what they were talking about. I was sold a buy one get one free deal on the iPhone X and was extremely happy. I made sure to ask multiple times that the deal was real and they were not making mistake. They assured me that I would be getting bill credit each month for my buy one get one free deal they had going on and come to find out two weeks later they call and say that the buy one get one free does NOT apply. I told them that is not acceptable and that it needed to be handled. A multimillion dollar company should be able to take care of a poorly trained crews mistake but now here I am two and a half months later still with no resolve. So I call today to talk with the manager again because she promised to get it handled and get back to me, which never happened. So the girl that sold me the phones and the "deal" answers as the manager and lays out a poorly plan story of why it's not handled and that the manager will be busy until the end of her shift two hours from now. Then directs me to email the district manager because he's the "head honcho around here.".. so store managers don't handle these types of situations?!?!This store is only out to take your money and run..
