The simple replacement went from a perfectly working phone to a broken phone. The screen kept going white with lines or just didn't turn on. Another thing that ticked me off was that my 17 year old daughter took it to them on her own and when she went back to pick it up they had added a front screen because they broke hers and were charging her for it as well. My husband had to drive over because they wouldn't give her the phone back without paying the additional cost they had added because they broke it. Funny thing was that when my husband arrived no longer just a kid, they were like "pay us what you think is fair". Lucky I hadn't been there because fair would have been $0.00. It's been such a headache. Now we have her phone back because it had to stay over night with them and IT STILL DOESN'T WORK!!!! This was after paying $250.00. Unfortunately neither one of us remembered our apple passwords so resetting will automatically wait 60 minutes. I wish this know your password was included in the text reminders. Since we were already there, we waited out the phone security app and reset our passcodes. Staff is helpful and takes the time to answer any and all questions. There was a blond lady who was working (4/6/26 at 12:30 and still there at 3 pm who was just so nice and has a genuine attitude, it was because of her that we decided to get a phone upgrade. Also we shared pictures of our dog and no surprise, she's got three! Anyway process for battery replacement (me) and phone upgrade (wife) went well. The process for both takes time. Plan on an hour or two for most things. so we took advice from one of the girls working there and ate at Luna grill. Left with a new phone battery, a new iphone 17 and a pleasantly full belly.

During the almost 1.5 hours combined waiting time (I had to pick up new equipment, go home, then come back and drop off the old equipment), I noticed that almost everyone who was there had little to no grasp of current technology. Either it wasn't a clear understanding of their cellular phone plan rates, the Xumo box and remote, or how to connect their dumb or smart TV to spectrum, it was all rather simple stuff that took so much time. I had ordered my equipment while driving and was told it would be ready after 1pm. Fair enough. I got there at 1:20 but didn't leave until 2:15! Yikes! Then, when I returned at 6:30 pm, I wasn't helped until almost 7. For those of us who know how to log into a website and navigate, there should be an automated dispenser and/or return kiosk for equipment. I really didn't have to talk to anyone to get or return the equipment. I mean, I had to activate the new modem on my own via their website, so Spectrum already made the assumption I didn't need any customer service help, so why would they think I'd need it picking up or returning equipment. The 2 star rating was based on the wait times, but really, it's a reflection of the customers' lack of knowledge... I appreciate the teams' patience there. Some of the questions or the rudeness of the customers would have gotten on my last nerve...

I held onto the old phone when I buying the new phone, and s/w between the two were synchronized. Within weeks the synchronization broke down and neither phone functioned. I returned to the dealer and was told nothing could be done. They didn't even try. Sorry, we can't help you, you're SOL. I then went to Best Buy's Geek Sqad. Gemma (who as far as I'm concerned walks on water) solved the problem within minutes. This was several months ago and both phones continue to work perfectly. Also, and unfortunately I do not have her name, your greeter was so sweet. She quickly got me where I needed to go, made sure I could sit while waiting for sevice, and informed the Geek Sqad that I should be next. The absolute best in customer service. I'll be back.
