If I could give zero stars, I would. I'm relatively certain this store is the 9th circle of hell. I've spent three days on the phone and in the store - literally hours of my life lost - with nothing to show for it. After ordering two phones online for in-store pickup, I was told that I had to pick up one phone and re-order the other in the store to be delivered to my house. Not only did Myles order the wrong phone, but he had it sent 2-day to the store instead of overnighting it to my house. When I got the email confirmation (although he told me he'd call to confirm the order) and called to see why the wrong phone was being sent, I was hung up on. When I called back, Myles informed me that he would recall the first order and fix it, giving me a call back (and he never did). Upon getting an update that the wrong phone was out for delivery tomorrow, I personally went back up to the store today, only to be told after waiting an hour that they confirmed that Myles had ordered the wrong phone and never fixed the order, and I'd have to wait until I got it and then wait in line AGAIN to have them "fix" the order that they had previously been unsuccessful with fixing multiple times. I finally just told them I'd deal with it online since everyone in that store is clearly inept. Verizon would probably retain more customers if they just closed this store and made people deal with ordering via their web accounts. I will say that the atrocious service here made me check out the Verizon retailer in the Gainesville BJ's, who quickly explained exactly what I'd need to do to correct the issue, gave me a direct line to call when I was ready, and ordered everything I need for in-store pick up. This all took about 10 minutes. Save your time and sanity and go there. read more

Hannah is the most outstanding Verizon associate I have dealt with, and we have been with Verizon for 15+ years. She is extremely smart (able to assist with problems I was having with my phone that other associates could not help me with), helpful with Verizon products, and knowledgeable of the plans offered by Verizon. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. The employees here don't care about the customer at all. Each time i came in for help the person who assisted me acted as if i was doing an injustice by coming in. They also argue amongst themselves and try to push you off onto a different rep. The only people they jump to help is those buying phones NOT those on a contract already. They will tell you one thing then act like you're lying when you bring it up to them again. The manager is also rude. If you explain an issue everyone here acts like it's your fault. They act as though youre trapped because of a contract. Not the case. Sure cancellation has a fee but for the headaches here, it is so worth the fee. I was given the same phone same model after like 5 had died. I almost begged for a new one and was told id he paying full price. Wait. The visit before you told me i would get a new model. Now you act like i made that up. I asked if i had like no choices and was told "if that's how you see it" Rude much? I finally switched companies and there was no push for me to stay. Among carriers and WiFi, Verizon is great when they sign you up, and awful when they service your account. I have had two major snafu's with Verizon's billing when both renewing my account and changing to paperless billing. Verizon agents were consistently 'inconsistent' in their advice and helpfulness. As soon my contract expires, I will never use their services again. Look for alternatives, even if they cost a little more. read more

I've been a customer with Verizon for almost 3 years now. Two weeks ago I went into their store and upgraded my iPhone XS to a iPhone 11 Pro Max. The employees on that day were cool and respectful, I got the phone "sealed" and asked if i could take it home and activate it there. They said that's totally fine....I mean why wouldn't it be? So excited I drove home and opened it up and spent close to $80 on cases and screen protectors to make sure my investment lasts. Hours later I started to notice that one of the bottom screws on my iPhone was STRIPPED? AND IT WAS STICKING OUT FROM THE FRAME?!?!?! Seriously????? I went back there trying to keep my composure and be respectful towards them by letting them know I was NOT blaming anyone on what happened and I would just like a replacement! I literally got the phone HOURS AGO. I was extremely shocked to find out that the iPhone I was given HAS BEEN OPENED AND TAMPERED WITH!!! They became assholes and the manager said "there's nothing I can do other then give you a cleaning kit" are you stupid? That will not fix a stripped bolt. It's sad that Verizon hired a complete imbecile to run their manassas store. I called cooperate, took photos of the incident and returned the phone for a BRAND NEW REPLACEMENT. I have to say it was a great experience from the second we stepped inside until we left. I did get a new phone. Our sales person was Dante, he was very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Terrible service! Music blasting- have hearing disability-asked her to turn it down at her stand. She did only to have another long hair girl come over & turn it up full blast. Long story short- couldn't upgrade or combine service w/ bf w/out paying $350. Def recc going to Sprint-cheaper-unlimited data, min, texts, and they will pay your early cancel fee! This version store is horrible. They don't listen to you and make you wait at least 20 minutes every time; unless you are buying something from them. They never help you quickly is you are there for an issue. Also, never go to the salesman named Myles! He is a rip off! He looks like an innocent guy, but he told me something different and did something different. He added lines to my account without permission so he could get enough lines to convert it to a businessI'm account and make commission! I talked to the manager and he didn't do anything to help. Everyone there just wants to make commission and they are very rude and inexperienced! Take my advice and go to an authorized retailer in Costco or BJs instead! Went in today to switch over from another carrier based on my friends recommendation. I was immediately greeted at the door by the young guy even opening the door for myself and my family. He was very personable and took care of my phone trade, iPad swap and even checked with me in regards to my employer to see if I qualified for a discount (which I did thanks to my employer) all while keeping a positive attitude even though it took awhile and I had a number port issue. This was by far the best experience I've had in dealing with in-store visits. I would recommend you going to see Marcus he will definitely change your mind about this location. read more

I had an issue with my Iphone 6s and took it into the store. They took a look at the phone and determined that it needed to be replaced and ordered a new phone for me. When I received the new phone and switched it over and had an issue when I sent text to my wife I would receive the text too. (very annoying). I took the phone in expecting them to fix it. I was told that I needed to get my own apple Id and that would resolve the problem. Not the case!!! Sharing an apple Id with a family member is fine and cheaper; cost for extra memory if each person has one $$$$$ for Verizon!!! After spending time online I figured out that it was a simple fix under the settings WHY COULDNT THEY FIX THAT IN THE STORE. I've been a Verizon costumer for almost 20 years now. I would give no stars at all if I could. I have gone to this store many times but NEVER AGAIN. Verizon should be ashamed as I experienced what I would call criminal behavior from the sales guy that assisted us and his subsequent manager who would not correct the issue. We were told over and over that a tablet, cover and battery pack were free when switching to the VZ Edge Plan. We questioned it because we are not stupid. The sales guy INSISTED it was free promotion and shoved it all in a bag with a receipt that only had my iphone 6 on it. Surprise, surprise when I was billed for the tablet $29.99, the cover, $26.24 and the battery pack, $58.00. To add insult to injury they gave me a 16G phone when I bought a 64G phone. I had three long calls with VZ billing (extremely helpful people) and two painful visits back to the store where the manager, Doug, treated us like a sleazy used car dealer leaving us to help one customer after the next. He returned the battery pack but the tablet could not be returned as I am now stuck in a two year contract with it. I insisted he credit me for it since I was blatantly lied to even when I protested. He said the credit would have to be approved by his manager and it would take 30 days. I had to get the hell out of there but somehow I KNEW this credit would never go through. Customer service means nothing to them compared to revenue no matter how unethical they have to be. I will be taking this further within Verizon. read more

Terrible, and the reason why I ditched Verizon as my cellular carrier. Why? Lying about store stock, when/if it related to freshly released devices that carry a high demand. Unless you're a new customer, or you're being re-locked into another 2 yrs via an upgrade, double check what you're told about a high demand device NOT being in stock. I was told that the device I wanted (...for the purpose of unit exchange) was not in stock, and felt that something was amiss about the situation. I call the store an hour later portraying myself as a potential customer, and inquire about store stock levels of the same device I sought earlier. I was told that they had a number of them in stock, and to ask for this gentlemen by name. These people really are the 'used car salesman' of the cellular industry. If you MUST do business with Verizon Wireless, do it on their website or at Amazon Wireless. Lastly, I returned to the store that same night to discuss the issue with the store manager. She purposely had me waiting while she socialized with a subordinate for almost 20 minutes. When she did see fit to grace me with her presence, she was rude and either lied or is completely oblivious to the concept of management related responsibility. She took NO OWNERSHIP of the situation what-so-ever and basically suggested that the fault was somehow mine. They were hoarding stock for maximum prophet by lying to existing customers about the availability of a device. I suggest if you plan to shop this location, that you rent a ferret costume and dowse yourself with something greasy....as it will allow you to blend in with the slimy weasels that work there. read more

I went to this store at 9:45PM, the first thing I did was apologized for showing up so late, and acknowledged that I understood they wanted to get home. I started speaking with this man named Louis Vasquez and he was actually very nice at first, however that quickly changed. The only reason I went to this Verizon store in the first place was because Best Buy in Gainesville told me I was eligible for an early upgrade, I soon found out that was not the case. I explained my entire story to Mr. Vasquez and he was not interested at all, I honestly felt he was calling me a liar about the whole best buy thing. So while he was on his computer trying to figure out something, I was talking with my boyfriend who was there with me, I said "Well, I guess if this doesn't work I can switch to another company." Mr. Vasquez then got into my conversation and said to me in a very cocky tone "Well, thats up to you. I'm trying to help you, but the way your coming at me right now I'm not feelin' it." How professional. He was absolutely the most rude person I have ever met and should not be working with the public I would highly recommend no one go to this Verizon store or ever associate themselves with Mr. Louis Vasquez. read more

One star is way too good for this store and its staff. The staff LIED to us, they sold us stuff we didn't need (which didn't work anyway), told us there were no longer contracts, so the 2 yr contract that expires in Aug wouldn't matter if we got new phones now. It took us 2.5 hours for them to get off their butts and transfer 2 phones. The stuff they sold us came to over $400 (shame on me), but worst of all, one of the staffers called me 2 times and left 1 message on my cell phone. She caught me the 2nd time and told me that I had to bring in my old phones. I told her no, I paid for my old phones then asked her what the price was on the new phones, she would never tell me, only that it would be a "few dollars" each month. I found out that each phone was almost $700!!! I called her back and asked her why would I return my old phones that I paid for when she would not give me a deal on the new ones??? She said it was part of the deal (LIE) and that if I didn't, there would be consequences, like turning off my service. WHAT BS!!! The Manager was on her cell phone most of the time and looked like she was constipated the WHOLE time we were there (over 2 hours), she looked like people were annoying her. I am returning my phones and "stuff" and getting my money back from another store. Bottom line: If you cannot be TRUTHFUL and offer the BEST price/promotion/deals, and provide GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, what the heck are you doing behind a counter interacting with people??? It makes the company look low class and desperate. PLEASE go to another store, unfortunately, most of the Verizon Corporate stores have bad reviews also, just don't go to the Manassas VA store.
