True to their word - they called me that day. I called them back Wednesday morning. They quoted $130 and advised it would be ready latest Monday depending on when they could get the battery. Much to my surprise they called me around 5 pm Thursday and let me know it was already ready. They are open until 6 pm on weekdays so I was able to go and pick it up right away. I'm happy that I was able to get it sooner so to minimize the work I needed to get done for my business. Note: I'm sure I could have replaced it myself but it literally looked like it would blow any minute so I didn't want to take the chance and they also take care of battery disposal which I didn't want to deal with.

The hour goes by as well as the evening and still no notice to pick it up. Fast forward to Sunday after store opens, the status is still "preparing order". I called and spoke to an employee who said the product is coming from another store and will be ready in 4-5 days. I decided to cancel the order and was told they could do that and I could expect a refund in 7-10 days. When I told him I would call my bank to dispute the charge, he quickly said that wouldn't be necessary because they haven't finalized processing the charge ....checking my bank the charge is in pending status on my bank account. I asked to speak to a manager and was told one would call me within 4 days. Based on this experience, I will never shop Best Buy again....online or walk in. I feel this was a bait and switch situation, very dishonest practice and despicable customer service. I know the employee was doing his job and that this was a company level Best Buy issue so I don't (and didn't) fault him for this experience.

My store experience was VERY positive, unfortunately when they handed me off to Apple assistance for the next steps Apple was unable to help it took 45 minutes of chatting and 45 minutes on the phone to realize that they were unable to help me what they said was not consistent with what the website said and unfortunately didn't work. Basically I spend 5 hours including traveling, time in the store and dealing with customer service. Then they said sorry you were given incorrect info and it's not gonna work. What it says online is not correct. I'd love it if they just reached out and helped out it seems like the store and the customer service aren't talking. The store would've had a 5 star rating if it wasn't for being handed off with misleading information. I'd like to emphasize I think the store tried hard, but they handed me off to a process that wasn't able to help and should've known that it was unable to help.

Turns out most entertainment businesses don't rent out just karaoke systems, they also include a DJ! I was able to reach out to at least 5 businesses via Yelp. DJ Jaron instantly impressed me by responding within 15 minutes with a flat rate estimate and package already prepared. Jaron answered all my questions and always responded quickly (weekdays before 7pm). He's easy to work with and great to have conversations with! He also emailed an excel file for song requests to be played between karaoke songs chosen onsite. Clear and consistent communication via Yelp, email, and text. My event was within a week and a half and we needed karaoke services plus possibly disco lighting for 3 hours. JBQAV absolutely delivered! DJ Jaron's karaoke service included a sound system, staging lights, unlimited virtual meetings, $1M liability insurance, and over 69,000 songs. We also had 4 wireless microphones, 24" screen for singers to view the lyrics and I upgraded to the 65" screen instead of the 36" for $200 extra so the audience could sing along. Participants were able to view the tablet set up on the side to choose songs and write down the song/artist choice, plus name of person singing. It was cool seeing my name as a singer on the large screen! I loved hearing the song playlist I submit during set up and while people were choosing songs to sing. Dance pop is my jam! Anything that encourages people to get up and dance wins. I was already dancing around to Down by Jay Sean, Beautiful Soul by Jesse McCartney, and jamming to Titanium. Haha total millennial! These guys are great...Had them come over to review our setup and fix some wifi issues…read more Kevin was our tech and he was FANTASTIC. A very sharp cookie. We had trouble getting wifi to work in parts of our home and he was able to locate an ethernet outlet that we missed completely that was covered by an antique dresser. By finding this, we were able to get wifi at the back part of our home. He also cleaned up some settings that weren't being used and rearrange settings so when it came time to return the Comcast modem (to use our own), it would be ready for us. I highly recommend using these folks if you have any network issues. James is the owner and responded quickly to my call and referred Kevin to us.
