    Area missing screen after they tried to fix.  No apologies for the condition or explanation as to what they attempted.

    If I could give this place a ZERO I would. My dad's iPad has a cracked screen so off it went to get a new screen installed. Dropped off last Thursday with. "We will call you on Saturday when complete." Saturday because that's when the iPad screen replacement guy was in. Saturday came and went with no call, so did Sunday. Monday was told they tried two different replacement screens but that they weren't working and they will try another one and "we will call you when done today." No call again. Tuesday of this week I went in to check on it and was told that the two screens didn't work. So nothing happened between Saturday and Tuesday. I made the decision to have the old screen put back on and walk out with the iPad. Here's the thing ...took a working iPad with cracked screen in and left with a NON-working iPad and about an inch of the screen absent. That's ONE strike, SECOND strike is they didn't own the breaking of the iPad as they tried to replace the screen and THIRD strike no return calls when they stated. It's just deplorable customer service. Won't be taking anything to them, nor will I, my friends and family recommend using them for a repair. We will take to Monterey Computer & Smartphone Repair on Del Monte.

    Beware using your credit card here!! I am 100% sure this guy is swiping numbers!!! This is the second time shopping here and both times just after I got a fraudulent charge on my card. It took me a bit to narrow it down. The second time I knew for sure as I stopped using the card and boom, just like a fish the charge happened! Shop here at your own demise. I reported this place to all of my credit card companies. If I weren't a trained gentlemen there may be a different outcome than just having the funds returned and getting a new card.

    I signed up for Verizon 5G Home Internet in San Francisco in 2022. I later attempted to use the…read moreservice here in Monterey in 2023 when I moved here. The service was ineffective in Monterey, so I contacted Verizon to close the account. I made multiple attempts to return the modem after cancellation. I was told I needed a return box but never received one despite repeated requests. I was also never informed I could have returned the equipment via UPS. After continued efforts to return the equipment (including attempting to return it in person at several different stores), I was eventually instructed by a Verizon representative at 1680 Del Monte Center Suite 12G, Monterey, CA 93940 that since the account was closed and there was no further need for the device, I could dispose of the modem as I saw fit. I disposed of it as e-waste. I relied on Verizon's instructions in good faith. I have tried to contest the charges with both Verizon and their collection agency. As recently as last week, I was sent a bill for approximately $220 from a collections agency. This charge is improper because Verizon failed to provide return materials and expressly instructed disposal. I visited the store one last time today to avoid formal complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the FCC to no avail.
