I came into the Verizon store in Moorpark and your employee Wendy is so great. She was so patient and took her time with me. She pulled up my account to see if she could save me money. I told her I was planning on cancelling my home phone because I was paying too much' she had offered a home phone service which would save me so much. PLEASE READ, do not go to this location they are very sketchy,sneaky,and smart. They will tell you one thing and your bill will tell you another. Knowing this I upgraded recently to unlimited data so I asked the girl Niria if there will be an hidden charges because deal seemed too good to be true sure enough there was two payments of $55 she forgot to mention and also didn't mention my mom had to enroll in paperless billing even though I asked her 5 times "are you sure there won't be any hidden fees?" She says no. My bill jumped $100 and got it taken care of by a real Verizon store that's not a retailer out to make an extra buck instead of focusing on keep a customer whose been with Verizon since 2009. The lady I talked to today also said there was a missing credit when I traded in my phone to get the iPhone 12 that just wasn't added for some reason which was also fixed by the real Verizon customer support team. But the answer the retail version store gave me was "oh that person doesn't work here anymore so we're not sure." So that's over $200 that just went unrecognized. Also few years back sold me a used iPhone and told me it was real only to have APPLE tell me this isn't our product. If this kind of stuff is happening to me it must be happening to a lot of people. Fantastic! Visited this store yesterday to set-up a new phone. Victor was really helpful and took care of me quickly - no wait! He answered my questions and showed me what I needed to do. I later had to go back to the store because I was technically challenged. Mike provided excellent customer service and made sure everything was okay with my account and phone. He went above and beyond and was super pleasant! I used to go to the Simi store. No more! I'm telling all my friends and family to go to Moorpark! I can't say enough good things about Eric, the store manager. After my phone was broken I was having a problem at home with the online insurance form. I went into the store and in minutes he took care of it. That was yesterday and my new phone will arrive today. Lacey and Richard! I wanted to give the highest compliment to two outstanding employees or associates working for Verizon in Moorpark! I lost my phone , after a hike and Lacey and Richard helped me Find my device on my iPad ! Their knowledge, willingness to help, and compassion for my situation was more than was the expectation of their job! I was more emotional than I should have been over the loss of my phone, but I was 2 days away from a chemo treatment and we do not have home phone line, and everything was in my phone! Richard showed me how to put a contact message on my lost phone so that I was able to get back my phone from the person you had it! I actually had to put a second message with a reward in order for my phone to be returned, also something Richard helped me with. Richard and Lacey told me they could connect an old phone up, which they did do So I could have phone service immediately ! They put my lost device in lost mode so as to secure it. I felt Lacey and Richard treated me so kindly, professional and then the compassion they showed me makes me want to tell everyone about Verizon Moorpark! Lacey, and Richard, you are responsible for making your long term customer not only satisfied by your knowledge and service, but you made me feel cared about! OK, paid $80 for some Loyalty program which has not been explained at all (even though I asked about it in first review and on the Wireless Plus website) - $160 for 2 phones - my husbands phone was not with me when I purchased the new phones. I see from some other comments at other stores this charge is to transfer data? I did my husbands phone at home in 2 minutes. I do not need coupons for any future purchases as I will not buy anything from this outlet again. Training on the phone - not something I need - I can figure it out myslef or go online. So for $160 I got MY data transferred (which I found out was 2 minutes of time) and not a single other thing. Total ripoff. STAY AWAY - FAR AWAY from this outlet. read more

First, let me say.. I am a long time customer of Verizon (over 14yrs). This store manager and customer service are the WORST I have ever experienced!!!! Decided it was time to upgrade both my phone and plan. Went to this store..I was told there would be a $30.00 upgrade fee (what?). Wow, which they agreed to waive,if a premium package was agreed to (new phone, accessories, external upgraded battery). Which I agreed to, only to find out, they do not stock the phone I picked... so they ordered and Verizon shipped it to me. Fed Ex mistakes caused a 6 day delay in receiving it. Phone arrived, took to store to activate, change contacts, signed up for their Droid workshop... 13 days after activating, I plugged in the external battery and the phone got so hot it could not be picked up...completely fried!!! SO...I took the phone back and was told it was past the 2 week grace period. This I was told is based on the day ordered.. NOT day activated.... Manager, James Jolly... tells me the BEST he can do is to replace with a REFURB... not a new phone.. I picked up my things walked out.. while in parking lot, I call 611 and am told that they would sent out a new phone... but had to pay for it and they would refund as soon as broken phone was returned. 611 customer service rep advised returning the accessories (they have a 30 day policy)... SO... I returned to store to return accessories and was met at the door by James Jolly and was told it would be over an hour to be helped. I agreed to wait...Although 8pm, 4 employees and only 3 customers in the store. As I waited, a few more customers came in and were helped ahead of me. I felt that he intentionally was making me wait. When I was finally helped, I was told there would be a RESTOCKING fee. This entire ordeal was horrible...There was another customer/victim that was getting more vocal about this experience....I said I would be writing a formal complaint.. What does JAMES JOLLY do... calls the police to report upset customers... After talking with Verizon's C/S 611 and filing formal complaint and requesting a call back from whomever supervises JAMES JOLLY... Verizon has sent repeated emails to JOLLY's supervisor GARCIA and apparently he does not feel he needs to reply even to Verizon internal emails from customer service and the local rep...or from unhappy customers. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS.... read more

They had no problem being nice when I went to get a new phone. The minute I went to return it, all of the sudden I was met with horrible service. The female Store Manager was rude and snobby. She didn't even give me a chance to explain anything, she was just quick to say no. Verizon told me over the phone that she could have taken care of it if she wanted to. I just moved to the area and what a shame that I was treated that way. You have to take care of your customers when they buy AND when they have an issue been if you have to make adjustments to make sure they happy.. I will take my 5 accounts and all of its upgrades to my old store. Do not shop here. read more

Dont let them sucker you into the warranty. Its throgh a 3rd party. After paying on it for two years, my son tried to use it as he cracked his I Phone. Was told have to mail it in and would get a refrubished one back that probaly would not work to well. Also the cost would be more then just replacing with an upgrade. The sales people here (Wendy and Ash) are desperate to earn commissions and will do anything it takes at the expense of the consumer. My wife walked in for an upgrade and was upsold to a hotspot device that was completely useless to us. Granted my wife is not a tech person and should have never agreed to this purchase. However, sales lady Wendy was aware of this and took advantage of her. When my wife asked what the hotspot was, Wendy kept repeating corporate lingo to the effect of "it will be cheaper for you, it will be cheaper for you, it will be cheaper for you." We tried to return the device five days later, but Ash said we had to pay a $70 restocking fee. They also tried to justify their sale by boasting how much of a discount we were getting on our account. This was not true. Ultimately we were just paying more for something we were never going to use. They were either too ignorant to see this or just too hungry to keep their precious little commission that they would say anything for it. When I looked at the receipt the restocking fee was actually only $35. When I realized we had been lied to, I spoke to the corporate office and made sure they were aware of that fact, to which corporate agreed to credit us back for the "restocking fee". This store in Moorpark is independently owned and operated therefore they can charge whatever fees they want to the customers. The corporate officer asked Ash "why are your restocking fees so high?" Ash said "it's just our policy." I would never go back here and would recommend staying away from these people. You are better off going to the corporate office in Simi Valley where you will be dealing with people who must answer directly to Verizon and not some "policy" they pull out of their ass. read more

This is really more about Verizon as a carrier, however the store was not helpful. I have begged JUST UPGRADE MY PHONE PLEASE!! I have complained to customer service on the phone as my upgrade date is a month away and today I was literally begging the managers in the store. I am on my 3rd refurbished Samsung phone that has iffy internet access and not all the keys on the dialpad work, especially the 1. All they would offer me today was another refurbished piece of junk. No exceptions to the 2 yr rule, except a customer next to me heard me begging and said they did it for her. I pay a fortune each mnth and I do not even feel safe with that phone. Cannot believe I am being treated this way after being a good customer for about a decade. read more

Great Service!!! Came in with an issue with my jetpack and the staff took a little bit to find out the issue, but really great empathetic staff. I was welcomed by smiles and felt really comfortable. I even found a cheaper price for my home internet with there new 4G system. We signed up for there Home Fusion, Corbin took really good care of me. I went from $600 a month to $120 a month and the internet is so much faster. read more

worst customer service ever. they say one thing. then they don't add it to your account, so the changes are never reflected and nobody has any record of what you're talking about so your bill doesn't change and then when you call Verizon corporate they just tell you that you're crazy... A guy at another Verizon store wiped out all my contacts in the phone and in backup assistant. Came to this store looking to see if they can transfer contacts for via a phone-to-phone transfer. They were helpful at first but at the end, the manager basically told me that contacts were my responsibility and that I could not rely on Verizon's backup assistant. Called Verizon customer service who immediately confirmed that backup assistant is a PREMIUM service supported by Verizon and what the manager told me was wrong. The guy at the store started off really nice but at the end, he was very unprofessional. He said it was our fault for using Verizon's backup assistant and that we should've had multiple backups. What's the point of having backup assistant then??? Don't ever blame a customer for using your services when you don't understand how things work. Very incompetent and plain rude at the end. Verizon tech support was able to resolve the problem in less than 10 mins-the tech even laughed at the ignorance of the store manager. read more
