I tried to return a phone case purchased at this location. The store employee told me that a manager needed to be present for the return and one was not at the store. I returned again a couple of weeks later and there was still no manager there. I finally had time to return a third time and ,finally, there was a store manager present, but she said it was now outside the 30 day window to return so I was not able to return it. I explained that I had already been there twice within the 30 day return window, but the store manager had not been present so they would not let me return it. Basically, she said too bad. Very bad customer service that a store manager needs to be present to do any kind of return yet the store manager isn't actually in the store most of the time. read more

Manager flat out lied to me. I went in to get a new phone and he told me he did all this math and if I got a new line instead he would be able to save me $60 a month and give me three free accessories. He said I just need to wait two days and call ATT and cancel my current hot spot. I called and they said not only did he completely lie, he also added $150 for the accessories he swore were free to my bill. There was no way for anyone to fix what he had done. I picked up a new phone here recently. My old phones camera was cracked and splintering; it was killing my Yelp photos! Lol! It was a good and fairly painless experience. They don't keep large gig phones onsite so you have it delivered to your home but they walked me through the trade in process etc. and had plenty of cables, cases and screen protectors to choose from. I picked up Zagg products which come with a lifetime warranty via online registration. I also received 20% off the accessories because I bought 3. Free parking in a quiet strip mall not far off the 101. I'd come to this store again. Much easier experience than the Westside stores that are considerably busier. read more

Avoid this store at all cost, they are very dishonest and rude. Lied to my wife added an extra line for my daughter when all we needed to do was swap phones literally added a new phone number for my daughter said that she couldn't keep the old one. Now we have a 6th line that we have to cancel. $35 setup fee we can't get back. AT&T customer service confirmed that what they did was unnecessary and wrong. Do not go to the store they are third-party they're not even employed by AT&T. They missed quoted me for turning in my iPhone 11 for 16 and I ended up paying more $400 more with my trade-in. Also everyone is blaming everybody else at that store and I was even hung up on twice by a gentleman named Moses who supposedly is the manager do not use them. read more

Last month, my brother and I went here to upgrade one of the old phones to IPhone 13. We were asked if we wanted an additional line and we refused because there was no need for one. After waiting for all the paperwork to get completed, we left the store. Three weeks later, my brother went to another store to upgrade another phone and was informed there was an additional line added to the account without his permission. We traced it back and it was done at this AT&T authorized store in El Monte. I was furious when I found out because on that day my brother and I clearly refused to open any additional line. My brother called 611 to cancel this line right away! It's hard to believe a presumably reputable store would operate based on LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM AND INTEGRITY. By far the BEST AT&T location!! We visited and sought help from several other locations, but all of the employees were extremely helpful and friendly!! We bought our phones from this location and received our promotional phone charger pads from here. Austin, Marian, and one other wonderful lady who was helping another couple (but helped us awhile back get our phones - she is hardworking and very sweet!!) were ALL extremely professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and gave great customer service both on the phone and in person!! While the other locations lagged in their knowledge of the promotion, this location was up to date on their info too!!! If you have tried other locations and haven't gotten your questions answered or feel the employees care very little about you, I'd recommend seeking this location for all your AT&T needs!!! read more

Worst employee and service ever I went into this store on Sunday April 28 at around 1030 am when I lost my I phone that I purchased at same location a year or so ago got good service then but this time I have never experienced a more annoying less helpful employee. He basically offered no help told me it takes two weeks to replace phone through insurance! I told him I could not go that long what good is insurance if it cost 275 and two weeks with no phone. He then told me I need to go figure out things to be grateful for that's what he would do. I could not believe this kid was telling me to go make a gratuity list like I was a child or in a rehab or something I then said you may not want to tell customers who are this upset when there phone was stolen to go make a gratuity list. I then asked if I had another phone could he hook it up temporarily while I was waiting for new phone to arrive like if I bought a prepaid phone and he said he could. Cool I thought then I remembered doing something like that many years ago and it moved my insurance to the temporary cheap phone instead of whatever good phone I had I have always had the best the list phone was 14 pro max so I asked him and he said he did not know I said this is a important question and told him about my past experience and he said if you already know the answer the question why are you asking me? I can't believe he said that to me I said, I don't know the answer to that question I believe it could've changed and hope it has time he said I was being hostile to him and he felt scared and I said thank God there are cameras in here to show that I'm not being hostile and he said that he took that as other cameras in here cause I'd be beating you up if there weren't who would say something like that, they say you're lucky there's cameras in here if they're being hostile and something like that not thank God anyway I quickly exited it that time because I don't need any police interaction and I would just complain later I left and not why can't you at least give me an AT&T phone number which he said he didn't have earlier so open the door he came kind of the door. Very frustrating when I can't get a hold of a live person so I went to the AT&T store in Thousand Oaks there in less than five minutes she had put in the claim ordered me a new phone got me upgraded an iPhone 15 and said it would be there in a day. The other place made me leave shaking with no information thinking it was going to take two weeks. There's also banter in there between me and and the first employee in Agoura were tried to tell me about upgrades, and then I qualified and all he had was a 15 pro but that's the same thing as a Pro Max even though one has two cameras and has three what I did find out the reason for the less than stellar service. Went here 4 days ago with my wife to see if we could get some help with our Verizon equipment we brought over to AT&T with us. This very helpful guy named Victor helped us and after awhile he figured out our Verizon phones were not compatible with the AT&T network. Victor got us a good deal on trading in our Verizon equipment and I must say the AT&T network is just amazing. And 5G everywhere we go awesome stuff. read more

I came in the AT&T store to get my phone unlocked and it was very strange. First off there were no signs that the store was open, it looked a bit dark from the outside and my mom said let's go, it's closed. Then I saw the door cracked open so I was like let's see. I'm very familiar with the area and I was excited that AT&T opened up here. I walked in and there was three female costumer service reps. One was helping a current client. Two were on the computer and looked up and said we will be right with you. I said okay, no problem. Then, slowly the two reps left. It was like crickets for a good 15-30 mins and the rep who was working with the other client never looked up which was fine. My mom and I started to feel very odd and felt discriminated. As soon as I was about to get up and leave, a male customer rep came out. He asked what we needed help with. So he walked me through how to unlock my phone which was nice but I felt very weirded out. My mom and I felt like we were not wanted there. So we left right away. It made my mom and I very uncomfortable and a bit sad that I'm experiencing this. Literally felt unpleasant and I'm never coming back. I am considering cancelling my plans with AT&T after today's incident. read more

He was extremely knowledgeable regarding the products that we inquired about which made it easy to select the merchandise that we needed. The store was very neat, clean and organized. My co-worker and I went to this location during our lunch hour and we were able to accomplish everything that we needed to accomplish in a timely manner due to the efficient service that we received. We originally bought our iPhone 12s here months ago and got excellent customer service. Although the 5G coverage is spotty in Ontario, it's not their fault and the service here is hands down excellent. We returned for a free promo charger and two stores didn't have it. The store rep in Covina didn't know how to process the QR code, the store rep in Duarte said it was a fraudulent promo because it used an 800 number. But we called her in El Monte and they knew about it, had the chargers, and it took only a few minutes to process the promo for the free product. They really knew their stuff in El Monte compared to other stores. read more
