    Horrible customer service. First of all if you call their 800 number you will wait FOREVER on the…read morephone and this is when you request to start a new account. I've been on hold for 20 minutes now and still waiting. I've been to this location once before when I wanted to start a new service; I waited in line for 15 minutes before a customer service rep told me that their servers were down. I should have remembered that before signing up with this mobile phone service Budget Mobile Lifeline. The on-hold message is telling me that I can go to their website ( www.budgetmobile.com ) and can chat immediately with an operator using LIVE support. This is false. When I tried to do that, it was just a form that I could fill out and someone will e-mail me later. Sounds like they don't want to talk to me. The cell phone service provider of Budget Mobile Lifeline does not want anymore new customers. My main reason for calling them was because they phone they sent out for my new service was broken. It would not hold a charge. I liked the phone so I was willing to pay to get it fixed on my own dime but the repair shop says that parts for this phone are not available, he tried ordering it twice and even spoke with his vendor personally about it. So now I've been out of a phone for 30 days and you know how it feels not to have your phone on you. Finally, after 25 minutes the on-hold machine offers me an option to leave a call back number, they will save my place in line and call me when an operator is available. For some reason I am doubting this. So far this is what I'm getting from Budget Mobile Lifeline: 1. Don't call us on the phone because we won't answer. 2. If you do call us, we'll ask you if you can take a rain check on chatting with us. 3. You can try to reach us by live support but again, we'll tell you to take a number. 4. If you try to be slick and visit our location, we'll come up with another reason to not help you. 5. If you order a new phone from us, it's not enough that we're saving so much money on labor because no one answers the phone, we'll also send you a bum phone that we've recycled because we want to make even more money on a cell phone service that you are not using. 6. We don't even have time to claim our business Yelp page, what makes you think we'll have time to speak with you. 7. If you were looking for great customer service from Budget Mobile Lifeline, you got it wrong bub, try some of our competitors like Verizon, Sprint, or T-Mobile. Thanks for trying to shop at Budget Mobile Lifeline Update: Finally someone called me back after an hour of waiting. I could have been on hold for an hour and a half? They told me to send it back and I said who was going to cover the postage. They said, "You will have to shoulder the burden". After stating my case for another 5 minutes the service rep agreed to send me out a phone and I wouldn't have to send the old one back until I received the new one but that I would still have to pay the postage. Oh well, you get what you pay for right?
