5 Stars I was a little worried about visiting this store in Washington Heights because of the negative things you often hear--either really bad customer service or long wait times with no results. However, I'm so glad I came here! My phone broke, and I rushed to the store to buy a new one. From the moment we walked in, Aris greeted us with a warm smile and immediately jumped in to help. He worked quickly to find a solution and made the entire process so smooth. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes! Aris was absolutely amazing--his great spirit and willingness to help made all the difference. He was dedicated to finding a fast solution to every issue we had, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about providing excellent service. Worst VZW store ever I went into the store at 5:30 pm and they refused to upgrade my phone claiming they were going to close in 30min trird speaking to their manager on duty (12/30/23) who ignored me completely. I'm 100% sure if I would of been adding a new line they would have taken their time but since it was an upgrade from a customer who has verizon since 2005 it doesn't matter. Seems like this store priority is to bring in new customers instead of keeping the ones they already have. Lucky for Verizon that I called customer and they helped me and made sure i was helped and because of that I decided not to cancel but never again will I go to the store located at 181 street read more

****UNETHICAL PRACTICES AT THIS LOCATIONS BEWARE***** I was looking to upgrade one of the phones of 4 on my plan, I go to this location because its closest to me. Its like 10-15 employees gathered who all greeted me as to say "Happy Birthday" in unison. when i approach the GM to proceed with my upgrade (per a previous visit overhearing him boast that he's the GM for this area) he assigned someone to help me and said i would be taken care of right away. now lets skip the 20-30 minute waiting game of "lets look at cases for your new phone" nah son i'm good thanks, just want the (Red) iPhone. "ok it has to be signed out" so I'm waiting for authorization there's a SPECIAL PROMOTION for the (Red) iPhone, you get these items free with your purchase (a case for $44.99, and a charging pack for $55.99) well my account is current AF, Direct Pay even, but I'm told that my out of pocket cost today would be $160....but my device is worth $170 so cool no biggie. WRONG!!! you have a $100 deposit based on "payment history" interesting enough i was told i had to take the "free" items or it would be more money. If you think I'm slow and you can get over on me I'll play slow with you for a minute but not for too long before i bounce. ***LONG STORY SHORT*** $118 to upgrade my phone online mail in old phone and my bill will be credited $170 trade in value $52 CREDIT IN THE END. in store, $170 trade in value given $100 in unwanted merch tried to be pushed off as a promo that was being called at "deposit" when i didnt want their free items for the same phone they wanted $160 on top of the $170 my phone was worth $330??? i hope their bartender pisses on the hands he use to make their drinks, i hope a booger ends up in their take out I hope all the "TRAINING" they were talking about pays off. I went in to send out an old phone and was told over the phone that they were able to do it. They told me they couldn't do it and they set me up with just a box and told me I had to print out the details myself after waiting 20 minutes. Verizon stores, per Internet, are supposed to be open from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. I wanted to check out two models of an iPhone at the Verizon store. I called the store between those hours in the morning and I was directed to a main number for Verizon because no one was picking up at the specific store I was calling. I was told by that central number to call back in 1/2 an hour. When I called back there was still no answer, and I was again transferred to I central number and the person who answered the phone told me that he was certain my local store was open. I went to the store , and sure enough the metal gate was down and nobody was there . This was shortly before 12:00 o'clock. However, I was in luck, because across the street from the Verizon store was a T-Mobile store that was open and had many customers and I was able to do what I had to do at the T-Mobile store. read more

went to pay a bill for my sons cell phone. i usually pay it to a representative this time the guy at the counter wanted to be nasty and said you will have to pay it at the kios although the store was empty at the time. He had an attitude and said it in an angry voice. As if he was taking out his anger on a customer. I will never enter that store again nor would I recommend to another person. very unprofessional. He shouldn't be working with the public especially when your taking someones money that pay your salary. read more

Signed me up for total protection without telling me. I upgraded my iphone from here and got an email later thanking me for signing up for Total Mobile Protection. Never asked for it and the store worker never mentioned it - just tried to slip it past me. Had it removed through their costumer service. Would have never known if not for the "thank you" note." Well, I can't tell you much about this location other than it was clan and bright. I walked in this afternoon (Sunday) around 1:00pm and there was one person in the store waiting by the register. The clerk was on his tablet near the front of the store. I looked at him when I walked in but he didn't look back. I walked over to the Droids and started looking at the Turbo. The clerk moved to the back registers, still on his tablet. I played with the Turbo and then looked at the Razr Maxx. That's what I currently have and the new one is bigger, which I liked. I took mine out and checked the size, I played on the phone.... the clerk stayed at the back register on his tablet. After almost 15 minutes of hoping someone would come over and help me, I gave up. I could have asked for help but seeing as I was the only person in the store, I was a little peeved that the only clerk was too busy playing on a tablet to help a customer. A shame because he would have made a sale. Now I'll go to the Verizon dealer near my office and buy from them. But, it explains why no one was in the store on a beautiful weekend afternoon. read more

Way more helpful than the midtown/gramercy park location, and much much closer to my house. Didn't have to wait in line, someone was willing to help me the moment I walked through the door. Interested in finding the best fit for you, not pushing products on you that you don't need. read more
