I recently purchased a phone from Verizon with the expectation of a quick setup and a smooth transfer, but the experience was the opposite. The phone I bought wasn't even connected and didn't exist in Verizon's system, which led to a frustrating series of issues. I had to make 2 trips to the store to try to transfer my service, and the problem still wasn't resolved on the spot. This turned what should have been a simple upgrade into a prolonged time sink filled with repeated follow-ups and visits. Bottom line: If you're trying to save time, Verizon is not the place to go. Prepare for potential delays, avoid peak times if possible, and bring all relevant documentation (order number, proof of purchase, ID, transfer PINs, device IMEI). If time is critical, consider alternatives or at least have a plan for escalation to a supervisor. The fact that they sent me home with the phone that was a brick and were unable to activate it for four hours sitting on the phone wait hold and in store. Originally told me it was gonna take 24 hours to activate my phone after they already canceled my other one. Store manager didn't even have the audacity to come out and speak with me and placed blame on Corporate. But was told they've never seen this before in history of their store. My home WiFi has not worked for over 2 weeks. Their off shore customer service is horrible. When they could not fix the issue said would research and call back in "a few minutes". Never happened. I have spent HOURS on the phone resetting device etc. was sent a new box yesterday after order for new box on Feb 11 was cancelled for unknown reason. I'm 1 year into a 3 year contract. Very poor service. Very unhappy customer service. Store rep was very happy to sell the service but when I went back with service issues I was pretty much ignored and told to call 611. I hate the Verizon service. I totally expect an account credit for no service. Can't wait to find a new carrier. read more

so I lost my phone about two weeks ago and I had to come in store to get it activated. I was on the phone with tech-support for about an hour, and they were just trying to upsell and get me to buy all kinds of things to add to my plan, one of the associates realize I was having difficulties and came over to help me. I told her the lady on tech-support kept trying to sell me things I didn't want, and I continuously had to tell her no, so associate professionally declined the tech-support offer, and they kept pushing and pressuring me to buy this item. Our luck with this store has been hit or miss but Chris the manager just restored our confidence in Verizon. He went above and beyond to get us two phones our kids desperately wanted for Christmas. The customer service is very rude. They tend to just not be friendly at all while also talking so loud others in the store can hear your personal business. I'm very upset as I thought I was being polite and just felt very flustered leaving. I waited two hours for nothing and will not be returning to this location again. read more

This place is a joke and not a funny one either. Verizon and particularly this Norman Ok store have led us on a four day nightmare! First after offering what seamed to be a great offer and supposedly check our home area for coverage, they told us " ohhh yes you have great service in your area!" So we signed up...our mistake. The next day we picked up our phone at the Norman Ok location, they were supposed to be I phone 13 pro max's but we only got 13s. So we thought maybe we misunderstood the terms of the contract. (Later thought customer service did confirm they're supposed to be 13 Pro Max's) but this becomes mute as the nightmare advances. They phone work great in Norman, but as we head home the service becomes more and more spotty then by the time we reach our home town it's gone completely. They don't have coverage in our town!!! We call customer service on our home phone and luckily my AT&T phone was still active, we spend the next 4 hours trying every avenue available through their IT to fix the problem, but the problem is their towers just don't cover our town. Finally we ask to just cancel the plan, and return the phones, after another hour we think it's done, we just have to take the phones back Monday. Monday comes my wife returns to the Norman Ok location, they refuse to take the phones back, they're rude, they want charge a restock fee on phones that don't work!!! They say she has to leave the building in 104 degree temperatures with our 3 kids to call Verizon customer service about their mix up! This is 3 hours and counting on the phone hoping our car doesn't overheat with our kids inside to take care of this. This is not how you should run a business! These people are deplorable, disrespectful, hateful, and incompetent at every level. Maybe Verizon should look into who represents them. read more

They never pick up a "PHONE"? They automatically push you to a National phone bank that leaves on the phone pushing prompts that have nothing to do with the issue! Avoid this place. The manager is a person named JJ who tends to wear his ego on his sleeve and will argue if any request that you have doesn't fit into whatever his idea of what should or should not be is. I came in with a simple need, which was denied. He did so loudly, in a manner that aired my personal business throughout the store. I simply walked out and called Customer Care. He came out to continue the argument. In the end, Customer Care took care of what I needed and the trip here was pointless. The corporate store in Moore is great. Thanks for reading. read more

Main Street I accompanied my friend Daniel to the Verizon store on main street. This store was very drab and the employees were not very excited to see potential customers. They informed us that they were a franchise store and that in order for us to revive the service we needed we must go to the corporate store on main street. 24th street Immediately when walking into the building the atmosphere could not have been different. We were greeted promptly by a well dressed and well mannered man who added us to a list to be helped. Less than 5 minuets later we were greeted by a vibrant and cute associate named Destiny! Destiny was able to help my friend Daniel by talking to the manager and advocating that they take the broken screen protector back even though there was not a warranty. The screen was broken in the box and was not put on Daniels phone as it should have been. Destiny saw this and made it right by exchanging it and installing it too(very skillfully I might add). This was the right thing to do and people deserve to be noted when they make the right decision! Thanks Destiny, you didn't have to do the right thing but you chose to anyway and that's awesome! I was marketed a product called the "Jet Pack" that Brian told me would save me money on my internet connection--he specifically called it internet services. The device is actually for providing a Hot Spot. Do NOT fall for this! Brian also failed to tell me that I would be locked in for 2 years, that there was a $40.00 connect fee plus, most importantly that the speed would be downgraded to 3G after 10 GB were reached. This is reached within the first 10 days of the month. Brian, of course, denied that he failed to tell me about these important facts when I came back to talk to him. He acted nervous when he signed me up and actually had me sign paper copies of the agreement when an electronic signature usually sufficed. I'm a very unhappy customer! BEWARE! read more
