This is an independent retailer, not a Verizon-owned store. Consequently, they don't feel obliged to offer the same level of customer service Verizon does. I just had a warranty replacement phone Fed-Exed to me and it didn't come with a SIM card. I needed a new one because I had activated a 3G phone while waiting for the 4G phone to arrive, which invalidates the old SIM. I buzzed on down to my local store to pick one up. They made me PAY for it. I bought a phone for $279 less than a year ago and if I want its warranty replacement to work, I have to shell out an additional $2. Granted, that isn't a lot of money, but it's the principle. I expressed my dismay in no uncertain terms, and they were absolutely unmoved. They were happy to let me be this upset for TWO DOLLARS. Seriously? The sales rep had the nerve to suggest I buy some of their overpriced accessories, so she could justify comping the SIM. Her fantastic idea is that I give them even MORE money. Um, no. They won't be seeing another dollar from me. I buy a smart phone every year, and not a single one will be from these nickel-and-diming clowns. There are official Verizon stores in Stonewood Mall and Downey Landing. I'd recommend heading there. read more

Chantelle and Eric wasted a good 8 hours of my life by having me drive back and forth to their 3rd party Verizon location over a 4 day time period. If it wasn't for my perseverance and the involvement of Verizon customer service, I would have been stuck with two used phones or else suffer a $100 restocking fee for trying to return them within an hour. Went in to order a phone, thought they had placed my order on Friday, and told me it would get here Monday no later than Tuesday. So i called on Tuesday (today) and asked if my phone was there and they said no it should be here tomorrow. I asked if there was someone else i could talk to and they said customer service. So i called customer service and the lady i talked to said there was no order placed. How could you tell someone their order will be there a certain day and not order it? After not having a cell phone with a major provider in over a year, it was time to make a change. I wasn't so sure I wanted to go with Verizon. Though they have the best coverage, they are the most expensive. During a drive, I noticed they were having a sale. I walked in and they helped me right away. Olivia was my salesperson. Later, I learned she was also the Assistant Manager. They were having a great sale on Samsung Products and when I informed her of my wants and needs, she went into detail about the sale and recommended certain products for me. She really knew what she was talking about. Her knowledgeable and friendly approach to technology and customer service really shined that day. At the end of the day, I walked out of that store with a brand new NOTE 3 and a FREE Tablet. If you think about switching over to Verizon, make sure to ask for Olivia. Do not purchase your phone here. The sales person Michelle tried to bump up the price double when I told her I would walk away she lowered the phone price and said not to tell anyone. She disconnect my phone and didn't know how to re connect. After waiting 1hr she said she wasn't able to sell me the phone because it was scanning a lower price and they were not able to sell it. Updated review: I was contacted by the manager of the store, Marc, who went above and beyond to try to make the situation right. Unfortunately, I couldn't return the 50 tempered glass or the 45 case, but Marc refunded us some money back to try to price match these accessories with online prices. The thing that brought me most comfort, was to hear the words from that the salesperson who is responsible for these shady sales practices will be spoken to. Wow. My wife and I had a great experience. So much so we walked out with 2 new Samsung S20 Plus phones. First off, let me give a 100% compliment to Stephanie. She helped us from beginning to end and made the experience enjoyable where possibly in other stores, would've been a nightmare. Let me say when you make a jump from the S7 to the S20, that's a pretty big jump and transferring everything from old to new put Stephanie to the test... And she succeeded. She stayed by our side and gave us the attention while other customers waited. The only other employee there had his hands full with them but Stephanie diligently worked on our stuff. Don't get me wrong, she broke off a couple times to assist customers but came right back to make sure things were progressing with us. That's great service. She used her magic to ultimately get everything moved over. I say magic but it's really her technical abilities. Nice to have a tech savvy associate. We love our phones. There's so much we, now, need to learn. But I really needed to give credit to Stephanie for making this switch go over smoothly even tho it took hours because of my damn old ancient phone. Be careful with this store offering free items. My wife and I went to buy a phone on 04/23. Manuel was the person helping us. We put down over $340 which paid the taxes and I thought the activation fees. It turns out I paid for a tempered glass that he stated he would throw in for us at no charge, they were about $50 each. When we left he told us the "receipt was in the bag" which wasn't, so I didn't see what my $340 paid for until I went back and requested a detailed receipt. This place has shady sales tactics. The guy that helped me was named Manny. He tricked me into thinking I was getting two screen protectors and a case for free. I asked him multiple times if my total would be cheaper if I didn't take them. He told me they wouldn't. So the next day I went in to pick up an Apple Watch that hadn't been delivered and I ended up returning the case I didn't want. I was credited $45 dollars for a case that was supposedly free. Now I am stuck with two screen protectors that I was charged $50 dollars a piece for that I could have bought elsewhere for less that $10 dollars. Check your receipts for sure. They get paid for selling this accessories. They workers here had no shame discussing the commissions they were making. They were even arguing over which customers belong to which salesperson there.
