    Went in to take advantage of the trade in any phone in any condition sale they had going on. We were offered 4 samsung galaxy s25 to regular 2 ultras. Long story short we signed for $147 dollars a month third month in a row my bill is $316 ontop of the $300 at the store to get everything setup and taxes and fees. Called Verizon they can't help because this is "an individual business" not a Verizon store. It's Celular sales, not Verizon. So basically im screwed​​ untill they decide if and when they want to fix this "Bait and switch" which is illegal and I'm in the process of filling with the CFPB, FLORIDA STATE, and the courts with my attorney. My salesperson has been all but a ghost since then won't answer my calls or reply to txt messages. Ralph Cassamassina is the guy that sold me these phones.

I told him of my dead battery issue on one of my devices, and he ended up saving me more money with the 55 and older plan verses the government/veteran discount. So, now I'm walking out with a newer phone for my husband, the hum device for my car for diagnostics as well as a Samsung Tablet.

    The old bait-and-switch is back! These people are scammers…read more It's not even a real Verizon store. It's one of those slimy strip-mall stores that used to have neon "free cell phones" signs plastered everywhere, but they dressed it up to look like a Verizon store. The fact that it's a third-party reseller of Verizon services means Verizon is not obligated to honor any of the lies these people tell. A review does us no good since I've already had to spend countless hours over several months to get back our money this store stole, so I'm writing this review to hopefully help others avoid unnecessarily losing hundreds of dollars. My wife and I have been Verizon customers for over 30 years, which means we've given Verizon literally tens of thousands of dollars and had every intention of continuing for another 30 years. So it was pretty dumb to push us to a competitor just to steal an extra $300, but that's exactly the choice the scammers at this store made on behalf of Verizon. So when you get bills from Verizon that are literally triple what you agreed to, understand that Verizon isn't obligated to honor the bait-and-switch sales tactics of the scammers at this fake Verizon store. Salesman/scammer Elijah told us several times that neither new phone would cost us anything at all if we upgraded to the plan he suggested. That was a lie. We were charged for the phones, plus a significant "upgrade fee" he never mentioned (despite being asked several times about any additional costs). Elijah also insisted it would be free to leave one of our old phones on our account as a backup. That too was an outright lie. Not a mistake, an intentional lie. We were charged for that line we didn't need, didn't ask for, and only accepted based on his lies. Why didn't we just talk to the store manager? We did, but Sherri is totally clueless and clearly only the "manager" because she's older than the other scammers. That's why I later had to spend many hours to get Verizon to eventually acknowledge that we obviously wouldn't have agreed to a bunch of extra services we clearly don't need unless their third-party reseller was dishonest about what the costs. Switching many of its old stores from real Verizon stores to these scam shops, thus putting the reputation of the entire corporation in the hands of slimy scammers, is clearly a large part of the reason for the Verizon's struggles in recent years. In fact, I'd bet it's the reason the company's prior CEO was finally fired last year. We're far from the types who complain for no reason. In fact, the people at this fake Verizon store had 5 separate opportunities to correct any of the problems they created, thus make unnecessary all the calls, letters, etc. to Verizon corporate. The first opportunity was to simply be honest about literally anything during the initial sale, then any of the 3 more times we had to waste time going back to get the issues resolved. Ironically, one of those 5 opportunities was when I emailed "Victra" District Manager Ryan Pokornik the day after our purchase to tell him how great salesman Elijah was (before realizing literally everything he told us to get us to sign was an outright lie). Now I know why that DM chose to ignore my email (because he knew, once I got my bill I'd realize we had been scammed so, if he acknowledged my praising email, I'd then be able to follow up with him (and beyond him).

The staff were helpful ONLY during the sale, but once the purchase was complete, that support vanished. I returned to drop off a trade-in phone worth $415 and was told they couldn't find my account information. No effort was made to help -- I was simply turned away. Previously, a system error occurred during account setup, and when I returned to resolve it, the staff were rude and dismissive. One employee even told me to "step aside" because they couldn't assist further. To make matters worse, I was first told that trade-ins could only be accepted at the original store, but when I followed those instructions with the proper receipt, they still refused. On my next visit, they told me to go to a different store -- which turned out to be false, as other locations don't accept trade-ins from the other store's purchases. This location consistently gave conflicting information and showed zero willingness to help. It may be the closest Verizon store to me, but I will be going elsewhere from now on. But Verizon service is terrible (you should see the lazy tangle of lines they left on my house). But worst, the Eero thing is terrible- had 3 days with no internet, no storm wind or anything. Called, chatted and sorry it is what it is. Now it just flickers on and off which is troubling for work at home days or when watching your favorite team. Zero stars for my Verizon experience in central Tampa.

    After being a loyal Verizon customer for almost 27 years, I can honestly say the customer service…read morehas become absolutely horrible. Every interaction feels like a stressful nightmare because nothing is ever handled correctly the first time. I recently discovered I had been paying for FOUR inactive lines with no devices attached for nearly three years. Then when I called to disconnect those lines, Verizon somehow disconnected MY actual phone number instead while still trying to keep hotspot charges on my account. The constant hidden fees, billing mistakes, activation charges, and "upgrade fees" on supposedly "free" phones are beyond ridiculous. Why is a customer of nearly three decades still being charged activation and upgrade fees? Meanwhile, my daughter switched to T-Mobile, paid zero activation fees, zero upgrade fees, kept her phone, and her bill was exactly what she was promised. Imagine that... honesty and competent customer service. Verizon clearly no longer values loyalty, because long-term customers are treated like walking wallets instead of valued customers.
