New Wave has been responding to my request for services for years now. Eric is knowledgeable and professional. He never hurries or makes me feel dumb. I am 80 and feel extremely comfortable with Eric in my home. I still do tax returns and the first part of April, on a Friday, my printer went down. I stopped by New Wave offices and asked for help setting up a new printer and networking it with the server which is in WA. They had no one available to come out to help. Kevin said that if we had access to an Apple phone he would face time and insure the installation was completed so I could work. He would take no money. Last year, on a Friday afternoon, our sound bar on the living room tv went out. We had company for the weekend and not having tv would have been a huge inconvenience. Kevin came out an hour after I called him and fixed our problem and saved our weekend. This week, we noticed that same stupid, cheap Vizio sound bar wasn't working well. So, we called New Wave again and asked about a better quality sound bar. Kevin spent a lot of time on the phone with us, explaining the ins and outs of sound bars. New Wave had exactly what we wanted in stock and came the next day to install it. Eric, the technician, was professional, polite, and knowledgeable and had the new Sonos bar installed within minutes. He carefully explained the operating instructions and set the unit up on my phone, too. The unit we purchased is available for $50 less at Costco, but the knowledge and service New Wave has was definitely worth that and more. read more

9 years ago we had these guys install a TV and a surround sound system and I reviewed them positively then and now for the update. A couple days ago they came to install a new TV and a new receiver for the system. They have gotten so sophisticated in that time! They send you a confirmation via text of your appointment date and time then when the installer is on the way you get another one! Sweet! Once they arrived the team got to work unboxing the new equipment, taking out the old and prepping the install. Super efficiently done, and boy am I glad we did not try to do this one our own. I am going to date myself but gone are the days when you buy an TV and just plug it in and off you go! LOL Not only were the suggestions of what to purchase spot on but they really streamline all the crazy stuff you have to do to link them to the network, do system updates all the way to helping to set the sound parameters on the receiver! I would like to share with you all the bad experiences my husband and I had with Kevin Amidei, owner of the New Wave Audio and Video company. He came to my home and my husband asked him to install a system that can integrate the audio in the house, connecting the TV, BOSE, and wired speakers on the ceiling, Patio, and Master Bathroom. So Kevin offered to my husband "SONOS" a system that is really specific for people who are fanatic about audio, not really functional. Sonos is specific for music, not like Google, Alexa, or other Smart Home operational systems/technologies. Kevin sold what was convenient for him, not for us, our Sonos Hub doesn't serve for anything except play music, all the rest of the house is operated by Google Home Assistant, but Sonos, what Kevin called "the in the world" definitely is useless. Kevin Amidei is not knowledgeable about actual technologies to turn your home smart when talking about audio and video. He charged us $5,000 to create a problem and not a solution. Sad but I am here saying the honest truth about a company that sold a bad system to us. read more
