Sun Stop Sunglasses--a high-end sunglasses mini-chain with locations at the Shops at South Town, Newgate (Ogden), and Red Cliffs (St. George)--has a little shop tucked away between a Tricked Out Accessories and Fred Meyer Jewelers. It was a little off-putting going in as I was the only one in there! With these prices, which I saw at the low end $50 (Suncloud) and at the high end $450 (Maui Jim, Oakley), with most in that $119-149 range. I just don't get it. They look cool, fit well, and really give you a dynamic, clear field of vision. For me, they're just not $150 cool. Still, the great brands are there, such as Ray-Ban, Smith, Spy, and Zeal. They also can adjust them them for your prescription. And of course, the very lonely Sun Stop employee is more than willing to help in finding the perfect pair.

They even have an impressive shoe department that doesn't only have sports shoes and hiking boots, but work shoes and boots as well. The full firearm counter and great selection of fishing supplies keeps me coming back. I also buy my work boots there. The boots are as good as they get and the price is even better. Make sure and get on their email list for lots of great specials in addition to their regular ads. There are larger sporting good stores in Provo but Big 5 is home town themed and their service is top notch. Their staff is well trained and knowledgeable and the store manager will bend over backwards to help you with whatever you need.

The cloth is loose and plays slow (even for Simonis), even on the rails, making the table play long. The table wasn't level (not even close--they used a 2 ft carpenter's level); I had to level it after they left because they refused to help me level it. And I found a huge chip out of my brand new quartz counter top on my island closest to the table. I just replaced the counters within the last year ($10K) (They must have dropped something on it.) At least the pocket facings are done well, but there are ripples all along the undersides of the rails. Paid nearly $1000K to have them set up and re-cloth the table. They were nice, but they won't set foot in my house again after the damage to my counter. I wanted to leave a good review, but they did just about everything they could to prevent it. 3 people were probably too many people for the job.

The owner of the store over charged us on our phone bill and refused to fix the problem. We didn't ask for a refund, we only wanted to have our account credited. He refused to even look up our information to see if a mistake was made. He was extremely rude, and ignorant with us. Apparently he does not believe himself capable of making any mistakes. And does not care at all about his loyal customers. We ended up having to drive 25 miles to the Cricket corporate store in Provo where they were awesome. They fixed the problem in less than 10 minutes. I do not recommend anyone to go to the Payson location. Unless you want to be ripped off.
