I was have an approved credit application which is what they told me I needed and they lied to me and won't let me get a new phone and line. This organization from top to bottom are rude and inconsiderate people. I was thrown out of a store for being in there trying to pick up a phone at 7:01pm on the 18th of April. People please don't pick Verizon to go with. I was also called the N word when Sam at 1305 S Alma School Rd told me to leave the store for no reason . Sam is the manager there and said I wasn't gonna wait 20 mins for me to pick up the phone and leave. Sam proceeded to be rude with me and said he would call the cops on me if I didn't leave. I had a very disappointing experience at this Verizon location. I was given incorrect and misleading information by a representative named Eric regarding Apple Watch pricing and trade in terms, which directly affected my decision to move forward with the purchase. When I later returned to clarify inconsistencies in my bill, the information I had originally been given was denied, and my concerns were handled in a dismissive and unprofessional manner. Attempting to resolve the issue in the middle of the store felt uncomfortable and unnecessarily public. Because of the inaccurate information provided at the time of sale, I was required to pay a $50 restocking fee to return a device that I had been told would be free. This charge was avoidable and stemmed entirely from unclear and misleading explanations around pricing and credits. Overall, the lack of transparency and accountability left a very negative impression. I no longer feel confident trusting in store sales practices at this location and would strongly encourage others to ask for all terms in writing before agreeing to anything. read more

I've had to stop at the store three times now within the last three weeks and the issues seem to be ongoing. First time it was regarding the outage. The line was so long I had to abandon it. Second time I had placed an upgrade order and they had cancelled it directing me to the store without explanation. Store staff had no explanation either nor offered any credit to my account for the issue. Lastly I was there a few days ago to drop off my trade in and the trade in promotion showed cancelled on my account for no reason the agent said he fixed it but in the event after a day if it did not show fixed to reach out. Completely useless for phone plan changes or setting up new plans. They gave us a post it note, and told us to call the 800 number. We tried it, and it was to switch phones to an existing plan, not to set up a whole new plan like we wanted. Basically because we weren't buying a new phone, they didn't want to help us. Just go to another store. I fear that this one the people working here are incompetent. "20 minutes" they said. Guess what, I had to come back three times and not because I messed up. Because they did. They admitted they messed up. My address is right in between two Verizon stores and I choose this one. Big mistake. I will never forgive myself for making that decision. I hope no one else has to do this because this was probably the most frustrated I've ever been. Just go to another one. I haven't been to any others, but they have to be better than this one. Honestly a monkey is probably better than this one. There are not any words in the English language that explain how I felt in that store. I've loved and have Verizon for the past 10 years and have never had such a bad customer service experience. Sid was the agent helping me and was an absolute jerk. He had no nice way of exposing anything. I wanted to trade in my phone and he said I couldn't till I paid it off but had never had that issue before. Verizon has a trade up program so you just trade it in and pay towards the new phone. I had an older phone I'd like to trade in and he was unwilling to explain how that might work or what I needed to do. He was just not very customer service friendly what so ever. I was Attempting to transfer over from T-Mobile to Verizon after my decade with T-Mobile because Verizon solicited me an offer I could not resist. They offered me the world. As it turns out my whole file, #, contract was so messed up I spent hours resubmitting my order even after I fit the phone in fact I I tried so many times to correct this that my credit got impacted. I was receiving calls that were from unknown numbes but they were already numbers programmed and registered in my phonebook identified with a mental and I did receive call one day from a gentleman that tells me that all of his friends calls are getting forwarded to my line-that's how many times they attempted to process my order.) My Verizon online mobile app wouldn't work because it was connected with some other user and that's a whole other controversial issue on its own but to make matters worse I show up to the store and I am asking for assistance and the manager tells me that despite the evidence there is absolutely nothing I can do without penalty. He was rude s d controversial and even went as far as to mention that the customers are always wrong yet he will do me the favor of leaving me phone less with no service on despite the well documented errors we just addressed on behalf of Verizon. I pointed out to him and he represents Verizon and he is behaving very unprofessionally his response could have been go ef yourself had he not been wearing a uniform. He hastily offers me too leave the plan but he would have to charge me $50 and I know that fee can be waived I have friends in the business that have the same job is this dude and I know that they are 100% able to wave that fee so long as they are willing to but he was controversial he was not apologetic for what I had been through with and all things considered and I had some really crazy things going on with my phone and he was not the least bit helpful Ricardo on the other hand was a breath of fresh air Ricardo was very very very helpful he went above and and Beyond and listened to me and Ill admit that I was not being very pleasant to work with because I was scared and nervous but Ricardo' was just very genuine patient i'm more so disappointed with the whole business Verizon after hours and hours was wasted on the phone, after multiple promises for most agents of all different areas manager, supervisor, escalation etc that would promise they would call me back never did after my last attempt to reconcile this disaster I left a store like a dog with its tail between its legs, embarrassed let down overly disappointed but I really just wanted to give a shout out to Ricardo because he really was helpful and I really appreciated him in fact the only reason why this review even gets a three is because he brought me up from the most negative experience ever to a less than negative experience ever. I contacted Verizon multiple times in the past 27 months. My husband passed away in April 2020 and I contacted Verizon and disconnected his iPad. They only reason I did not disconnect is phone as well, is because my daughter end up taking it over and we change the number. Verizon has been charging me for an iPad for 27 months that has not been used. I have disconnected it , and we disconnected it . I have called and canceled it. I have gone in and asked them to help me make sure it's disconnected!!! This has been going on for over two years and they just continue to tell me they have taken care of the problem but, they continue to charge me. I was on the phone with Customer Service for about an hour and a half today and they offered me a $20 Credit for the inconvenience. They will not pay me or reimburse me the money they stole for the past 27 months. You're stealing from a widow off of her dead husband's iPad that sits in a drawer and doesn't even power on. Not only is that I'm ethical, it's pretty disgusting. So instead of reimbursing me and doing the right thing, you're going to you literally cut ties with someone who has been paying well over $200 to you monthly for about 20 years. Idiots!!! An older woman who was handicap, on oxygen, exploded her situation to either a millennial or GenZ worker and he frustrated her that she yelled at him for not listening to her. Hello there, The lady who helped yesterday to setup my new account was great. Yet, there was an issue. I came back. The person there had fake nails 3 inches long and couldn't type for her life. I was coming from ATT where their sales person had...3inches long fake fingernails. Bottom line, what the fuck with these companies hiring these morons? I'm in the market for a new iPhone and first called the Apple store to learn that they are not allowing customers to shop in-store at this time due to Covid-19 so the only solution was to order one. Since I was down the street from Verizon, I decided to stop by and see what they were doing during this time. A friendly team member greeted me outside to hear what I was there for and also informed me that they were completely out of the phone that I was looking for at all Verizon stores across the state, so ordering would be the best way to go. I felt so bad for him as he had to turn many people away (and I could tell it was hard for him to disappoint folks), just in the few minutes that I was standing there. They are only taking appointments at this time; no spontaneous in-store visits at all. That said, I definitely respect that they are keeping our community safe during this time. He could not have been nicer or more respectful. He answered all of my questions (my biggest concern being transferring everything on my own without the help of a pro when the new phone does come). They informed me it was a Verizon issue & should take it back. We came to this store & was kindly greeted by Fernando "Specialist". Not only was he understanding but he was actually kind enough to listen to my frustration. He made the experience worth while! He took us through a step by step & was coming to check up on us while assisting other customers until our iPhone transferred all the important content from one phone to another! I asked one question about my policy and got a handful of jumbled responses and asked the guy to slow down and explain to me my policy. He got upset some how and told me that I wasn't being clear enough and he was going to have me talk to the manager. I'm sick of this company constantly failing in giving their customers direct information and trying to get the customer to buy a new phone to fix their issues. Do not go to this store. They do not know what they're doing and the technicians aren't trained well enough to answer logical questions. They are a bunch of young guys that just want to sell you a phone. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION I've been a loyal Verizon customer for a long time. When it comes time to upgrade, I sell my old phones through the service Offerup and put that money towards a new phone. Today, I met a buyer at this location. He made an appointment to verify that the phone was indeed paid off and to put lamely, a "Verizon" phone. The Verizon employee looked the phone up in their database and verified this information, it even stated "sim without restriction." However, the issue arose with the phone when it displayed as "locked" with a carrier that wasn't Verizon-or so the employee explained. He said it meant that the phone was bought from another carrier such as T-mobile or sprint which is impossible. To further prove that my phone was in fact Verizon, I suggested the buyer input his SIM card into the phone to test it. The employee assisted with placing the gentleman's SIM card and began the process of setting up. The buyer was able to make phone calls and send text messages-further proving that my phone is indeed Verizon. The employee however, said it was at the buyer's discretion to purchase my phone and informed the buyer that there was a possibility of the phone "locking up" in a few months. I've never heard this term before and when asked to elaborate what he meant, the employee could not explain. Rather than explaining the issue, the employee turned to the buyer and began attempting to sell him a new phone, ignoring my questions and my overall presence. At this point, the buyer removed his SIM card and clearly frustrated, walked out. The manager came over and I requested that they pull up my information to verify that I am a Verizon customer. The manager told me that she wasn't able to do that at this location and that I would need to call tech support. Rather than attempting to clear things up, she handed me a business card which listed tech support and moved onto the next customer. This was by far the worst experience I've had and I highly recommend that you do not come to this location unless you plain on purchasing a new phone. The employees and managers are incompetent at solving tech-related issues. Take my advice and listen to the many other 1 star reviews rather than the few 4/5 star. read more
