Came here to get a new Iphone17Pro. The wait was about 1/2hr. They don't take appts. Matt was the guy who helped me. I inquired about their internet, but it wasn't available in my area currently. This note is to give praise to Matt at the T-Mobile Experience store located at The Promenade in Scottsdale, Az. Not only is he a seasoned professional at his age, but his people skills are some of the best that I and my husband have experienced here in Scottsdale. Matt spent way more time than he had to with us making sure that we understood the differences in phone options. We even encouraged him to take his lunch break while everything was being transferred to the new phones. A young lady kept an eye on everything during that time, I am so sorry I do not remember her name. We spent 29 years with the "V" mobile company and the last few years with them were a nightmare....time for a change. We also decided during our time with Matt, it was also a good time to cut the cord with COX.......So we now have T-Mobile, two new phones and their "Gateway" wifi/internet. It felt extremely good to be in a brick and mortar store where there were a team of people that looked like they WANTED to be there, had people skills & knowledge of the product, and were a true joy to be around......Some really tasty 70's music on also! Fast forward a week, I had some questions, went back in and Matt was with a customer. Three more pros were there to lend a hand. Dan, Dustin & Raoul came to my rescue and between the three of them, I left completely satisfied with the help and answers that were provided. There is no question, it seems that T-Mobile truly recognizes the importance of hiring the right people, training them and re-training on new product. On February 6th I had spent a terrible 1 hour and 25 minutes with Samsung regarding my brand new S25Ultra. It was ridiculous speaking to a lady answering the call her supervisor and his supervisor. All to no avail. I went to the T mobile store on Frank Lloyd Wright, and was fortunate to be met by Gabriella Vasques who in 25 minutes took care of all my issues. She had a coworker sit in who was helpful as well, unfortunately I did not get his name. I have had no problems with my phone since after three days of terrible problems and wanting even to return the phone. Thank you Gabriella for your wonderful service. I have a very damaged, used and abused iPhone 8. I have cracked it in every way you can from all of my parkour and midnight ninja fights..... oh wait, the 1st rule of parkour and midnight ninja fights is don't talk about...... WELL anyway, my phone was so damaged that it literally offended my techy boss (I think "techy" should be added to the dictionary) so much so that he went and bought me a new phone. Well shizzballs, I was so stoked! (And it was a new job btw). So I had to do the whole switcharoo and get "all the things" moved to the new phone. I had called a T-Mobile store (different store) and they were nice and explained to me how easy it was over the phone. When I finally stopped procrastinating and went to do the thing with the thing, I forgot how to do allllllllll the things. So this time, I went on the Yelp and did a little looksee to find the best rated store near my best new job (with my best new boss). And voila!!! This little pink jewel showed up with its gleaming high ratings. I entered this little hip joint with it's café style chairs and barstools and nifty black and pink lamp shades, mesmerized by the glowing pink lighting behind the TV monitors that had glowing pink words... and then this glorious helper of all the things named Brandi Greeted me and beckoned me to the nifty bar tables with their high stools. I explained to her the lowdown, and SHAZAM, she did all the things. Might I add, darling Brandi didn't charge me a single cent (which is CRAZY since my mom pays all my friends to hang out with me). Long story DWARF, if you need help with your ET phone homes, I highly recommend this glorious wonder of a store. That is all. P.S. The manager should give Brandi $1 million dollars. Do not come to this location or T-Mobile in general for that matter. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with on multiple occasions. If you buy a zag screen replacement they tell you come back and they'll replace it no questions asked. Except when you get there they tell you that you need to have the 360 protection. Mike made my experience a great one. I needed to replace my iPhone 7, got the iPhone 12 Pro. I got a $600 credit, so the phone was $400. He was patient while explaining which I greatly appreciated. (I did not want the 13.) Looking forward to the new phones arrival and getting my stuff transferred over. This location had 4 stars. The other locations had 2/3 stars and a few horror stories, so I drive the extra miles to this location. All employees were smiling and friendly. No up selling either. This is a WONDERFUL store because of its employees. I recently made the "BIG SWITCH " over from one of the huge carriers, and it was the best decision I made. T-Mobile has completely re-vamped their name and reputation from what it was in the past. The cell service, The prices, and most of all THE CUSTOMER SERVICE can not be beaten!!! I have been in this store since I switched over at least 10 times. Not due to anything wrong, but I purchased several items for myself and family, and since it is such a great environment, I feel comfortable going into the store to seek guidance on any questions. All of the same employees are there, which is nice because they actually call me by name. J, Billy, Devyn, Paul , Ashley, Jamon and Jacob are all employees I have personally dealt with a number of times and they are consistently professional and have always been able to help me so I walk away feeling happy because they have been able to solve any obstacle I have had. Parking is VERY GOOD EXCEPT DURING LUNCH HOURS of 11:30am - 1:00pm. Their plans are highly competitive and the company as a whole is very innovative. My little brother needed to get his iPhone fixed. Nothing was physically damaged, it just didn't turn on. We were there for 10 minutes and the rep, Chris, just told us to go through insurance because he couldn't help us and he said that no technicians worked in any T-mobile stores. We have been loyal customers for 10+ years and we have never had to directly contact the insurance company which waived a red flag. I called the T-mobile support team and they told us that the representatives have to try and fix your problem in store. If they can't fix it, then they should give us a replacement in store if we have insurance. Thankfully we were able to talk to someone that was actually helpful on the phone and they are overnighting a replacement to our house so we don't have to deal with this store. I won't be coming back to this location. read more

It became necessary for me to visit this T-Mobil store to straighten out some issues that arose while switching to T-Mobile from another carrier. The transfer process was, at least in my case, quite complicated. I visited this store two times. The two issues were different from one another so it wasn't a case of it not being done properly the first time. Nick was the representative who helped me the first time. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and patient. He went the extra mile to sort out the issue and to get the stalled process of transferring the lines started once again. Christa was the representative who helped me yesterday. She was also very patient, listened closely to the issue that I was dealing with, and found the solution. She also had a great sense of humor which helps so much when dealing with bewilderingly complicated technical issues. My problem was completely taken care of and as of today my contact with my previous carrier has been severed. I can't thank T-Mobile enough for the wonderful service and for such dedicated helpful employees like Nick and Christa! read more

We switched to T-Mobile over a year and a half ago. We thought we were making the right choice at the time but could have never been more wrong. We have been overcharged every single month, no one has ever been able to help resolve the issue, the staff is constantly changing and does not respond to messages nor do they honor appointments. They are rude and very disrespectful. The service is terrible they had to add a booster and we were actually told by one of the employees that we should've never switched because their service in the area we live is not very strong. Would never recommend them to anyone. Had to give one star because it wouldn't allow me to post without at least one star. I would give them zero! read more

T-Mobile is ridiculously priced for unlimited call plans. I started with Sprint. Sprint cost me $100 a month. With T-Mobile my price shot up to $130 a month. I have since found another phone company that I am happy with for $60 a month. Try giving back T-Mobile their equipment and you will go through Hell. Their customer service seriously leaves something to be desired. First they will tell you that you can turn your phone into one of their stores. Next they send you flimsy boxes to bring your phones to UPS. Then they tell you to take a picture of their phone so they won't charge you for it. I am soooo happy to get rid of TMobile. Go with Verizon instead or do like I did find an even cheaper phone company. I guess I should tell you I am a senior. Do not be fooled by T-Mobile senior plan(s). They do not care about seniors...period! read more

Having to deal with cellular service issues is one thing but going to a store with knowledgeable, patient and professional people makes a lot of difference. My experience with going to my previous cellular service store (at least for the past 10 years) has been inconsistent to the point that I dreaded needing to go to the store if I can help it. On one occasion- you get a really nice, knowledgeable rep and the next time you go back and ask for the same person- they are gone. A lot of times , you feel like they are really just after their commission in making you purchase or upgrade to a new phone esp when they realize your business has about 20 lines and some are eligible for upgrade. Our big switch to T-Mobile happened after three attempts. We know that to activate and transfer 4 lines with all new phones will take at least An hour or even more. We tried going to the branch at Fashion Square twice but there were only two reps and at one time they didn't even acknowledge us walking in and we were standing there for at least 5-10 min - obviously waiting to be helped. We do not expect them to leave who they are with but at least acknowledge us. We left without hesitation. When we were ready - we found out that there is this store which is actually closer To us and am sure glad we went here Tyler and Nick were patient, professional and super helpful. We came in about an hour before they close and asked if there's time to do the 4 line switch. Of course- they would say ok - like anybody else but never did we feel like they were rushing to get out of there. They were very organized, efficient and had a good attitude. Tyler was eventually helped by Nick since the store supposedly closes at 6 and everybody else was gone. We moved over 4 phone lines and 2 apple watches and as expected, it took over an hour. The experience we expected was going to be long but it was certainly a pleasant one. Am happy that this branch is the closest to us. I sure hope that employee turnover is not high just like the others coz we know there's always going to be issues. read more

I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile and ordered two new iPhones on the afternoon of Nov 7th 2020. While waiting on the new phones (which weren't released until Nov 13th) I got T-Mobile sim cards for my existing phones (an iPhone XS max & an iPhone 8) - Unfortunately I couldn't get a signal in places I previously had no issues with on either phone with AT&T's service (this was in Scottsdale AZ, not out in the boonies). On one occasion I couldn't even get a signal while standing outside on a clear day within sight of a T-Mobile store that was maybe 500 yards away. Their cellular network was so bad that I canceled my service the very next day. After canceling I was told that the new phone order would be automatically canceled but it wasn't. To complicate things the package was delivered to one of my neighbors (not T-Mobile's fault). Long story short, T-Mobile billed me for over $2,714 on the phones which I eventually got resolved once my neighbor realized and dropped off the phones to me and I returned them. To compound the insult of their horrible network and all the wasted time tracking down and dropping off the new phones, I'd already paid an "activation fee" of $61.61, paid for one day of service $7.06, and then was also charged $107.49 for some unknown fee. In summary they promised me a great network, didn't deliver on their promises and then charged me more to cancel their horrible service. I really wanted this to work out, their staff was always very nice and friendly. I paid the price in both wasted time (many hours) and money for their horrible network and bad business practices - I paid $176.16 because they couldn't provide me with the service that they promised. If there was an option for a "0" star, I would choose that. A horrible customer service experience provided by Mike, who's a T-Mobile employee at this store, SE corner of FLW and Scottsdale Road. (I am a 20 plus year T-Mobile customer with a perfect pay record.) After a 40 minute wait with about 8 customer's in line, and only 2 employees at this location, I brought my Mom, who's a senior (92), to this store to purchase a "senior" phone that would be easier to use than her current Apple 8 iPhone. (BTW, the 40 minute wait could have been reduced in half if the 2 employees who appear are not trained to handle customer's since the existing 2 customer's were chatting away and talking about everything but phones, etc., the reps could have moved on very politely and diplomatically to handle the many other people waiting in line. The reason we visited the store in the first place was because the day before I called T-Mobile and the rep said it's best to visit a store to see the phones). There was only one senior phone on display and it was not available to purchase. Mike brought out another similar senior phone but said he could not open the box unless you purchased it. My Mom needed to see the phone in her hand so she could feel comfortable with it. He refused to open it up unless she purchased it first (corporate policy he said), and then said if she purchased it and didn't like it there would be a $25 re-stocking fee. I asked why the phone he brought out was not a demo on the wall, and he could not explain. I tried to reason with him but his attitude and arrogance was overwhelming with zero care. He was very flippant with his remarks. Amazing how terrible it is to now have people like Mike employed at a large corporation that slipped through the cracks of being properly vetted and trained at being good at customer service. We departed the store because my Mom needed to touch the actual phone and the poor service from Mike was overwhelming her. Overall, a bad customer experience given to us by a T-Mobile employee who should have never been hired. read more

I came into order the new iPhone 8+ the day before the release with questions and Devon & Jordan answered every single one of them! Then I was told to call customer service at 611 to place my order at midnight to be one of the first! Of course I had issues ordering over the phone with T-Mobile, so today I returned to order with these guys in store- I did it all on my lunch break and what a sigh of relief!
