We met Urias and he was calm and patient as we explained the issue with our phone and service. He was able to take care of us, fully explained everything to us and we left with a new phone. Buyer Beware!! This is not a Verizon corporate store and they are misleading and overpriced. For example, the iPhone 4 retails for $849 at Apple and Verizon...at this store it's $860. AND, they quoted me a price of $810! I don't know if the $810 quote was a deliberate attempt to win over my business or if it was just incompetence. But either way, when I reviewed my receipt the next day I was shocked to see $860 instead of $810. ALSO....I was charged $19.99 "Set Up and Go Plus" fee without being told about it. It was explained to me at the store that was "to pay for data transfer". I called corporate and they told me that was an odd fee and they credited it back to my account. ALSO....the restocking fee at this store if you return a phone is $70 compared to $35 at Verizon corporate. I was not informed of this discrepancy. ALSO...they told me that my trade in value was $100 and then at the last minute(2 hours later!!), they said, oh actually the computer says it's $72. I'm not sure, but that seemed like confusion/incompetence. Corporate also gave me a $28 credit to make up for that. ALSO...they charge a $30 "new device fee". Corporate also credited that back to me. Yes, I should have checked my receipt carefully in the store, but after 2 hours of phone set up, ect, I was too tired. It's a good thing I looked over it today or I would have lost a lot. I don't think it should be the consumer's responsibility to avoid so many up-charges, but that it is if you shop at this store. To the credit of Verizon corporate, they did credit me back to make up for all of the extra charges. But it makes me angry that it was on me to make sure that happened. Finally, I complained directly to the store about the 860 vs 850 discrepancy and they did give me a free $50 case to make up for it. But still, this was a terrible and misleading buying experience. I have a Wifi hot spot that I purchased from this store. I was led to believe that it would work at my home, which they looked up at the store. Once I got it home, I discovered that the hotspot needed software to be loaded onto my device in order to work, however it does not come with a USB plug. After taking it back to the store they said they couldn't help. Anyhow, after an argument, they gave me the correct cord and I wa able to use it. About 3 months later the device malfunctioned and I took it back. I was in need of internet at my home for school and they refused to replace it, saying I had to go through the Tech center. Essentially I was left without service for multiple days. The customer service at this store is horrible. They are unwilling to actually help the customer, but are only there to make money. One employee went so far as to tell us that she "just couldn't deal with us, that we needed to come back another time". If she can't handle the store's business, maybe she should be looking for another job. read more

UPDATE: Have since been contacted by the local district mgr of faux Verizon named David. He said he viewed video and they were correct but then he REFUSED to allow me to see this video evidence. Because they failed to produce it then, and are refusing to produce it now, I do not believe them. ************* FRAUD! That's the only word for what happened to me in this store. It is important to understand that while this storefront has VERIZON emblazoned on it, it is what is called a 'Premium Wireless Retailer' and is not really affiliated with Verizon. THAT they do not tell you until you have the audacity to expect Verizon class customer service. Here is what happened to me: I was in the store for the 3rd time attempting to solve a problem with my Galaxy 4 phone. This was a hardware issue and I have to say the staff was helpful in facilitating the replacement of the phone under warranty. While I was waiting for a service tech, Jacob approached me about their latest offer. Add a tablet to your account for $10/month AND, if you reconfigure your data plan, you can reduce the bill by the $10/month making it free. I was also told I could just try it out for 14 days to see if I had a use for it. WHAT I WAS NOT TOLD: The tablet is a TWO year commitment. I was lead to believe it would be added to the existing plan, not extend the contract by another 18 months. There is a $35 connection fee from Verizon. (remember that FREE tablet?) If you decide against keeping it, there is a $50 restocking fee (more on the restocking fee later) to return it EVEN THOUGH IT IS WITHIN THE TWO WEEK TRIAL. Jacob then had me sign electronically on a very small credit card screen facing the customer for what I was told was "verification that I was in the store and had received the free tablet". After all was said and done, I was handed a stack of papers and left the store with my new tablet. After I had left I saw my 'signature' was electronically printed on a 2 year contract, so I took the tablet back the very next day. I was helped again by Jacob who now aggressively denied failing to tell me of the 2 yr contract and of denying me the right to read what he now says I signed. He pointed to a small (and I mean SMALL) cardboard sign behind an advertisement and a pen cup tucked in the corner by the register. It, I am told but cannot verify because the print is so small it would require a jeweler's loupe to read, contains all the info about restocking fees, contract length and fees etc. I advised Jacob that the law requires store policy regarding returns etc must be PROMINENTLY displayed and readable. Well, Jacob just went off and said he had in fact advised me of the 2 yr contract and that the whole store was wired with video camera and recording devices and he will just have the tape pulled and prove it. At this point, I agreed wholeheartedly. I told Jacob that if the video showed I had been mistaken, I would accept it and that would be that. He said it he would have is manager pull the tape but it would take a couple days. Two days later I returned, no tape. Two days after that I was told it would be another few days. Well, after a few more visits the tape never materialized. On the 13th day I took the tablet back yet again and was told by Jacob I would have to pay the $50 restock fee regardless because, and I'm quoting here, "We don't have to prove it". I left the store and called Verizon. That is when I was told about the 'Premium Retailer' business. They reversed all connection related fees on their end and advised they really have no control over these stores because they are not affiliated but would credit me the $50 on my cell phone bill if they insisted on charging me. So I went back into the store and asked to speak to the manager and that is when Brittany came out. She was unbelievably rude. Stunningly, shockingly rude. She told me the restock fee was now $100. I assume this increase was punishment for calling Jacob out on his bald-faced lie about the video proof. At this point, I called Verizon customer service back and apprised them of the situation. They asked to speak with the manager so I handed the phone over. Brittany was so awful to the (real) Verizon customer service supervisor that when she handed the phone back to me the supervisor commented that propriety prevented her from saying what she really thought of Brittany. So I said it for her. In the end, Verizon (the REAL Verizon) were stellar in customer service and credited me the $100 I had to pay the phony Verizon, and then they reversed all fees associated with the connection of the tablet and put an extra $25 on top as an apology for all I was subjected to in this faux store. So - STAY AWAY !!! Purchase and deal with the legitimate Verizon and steer clear of the imposers. I have filed a complaint with the real Verizon in the hopes enough consumer complaints will get their contact pulled read more

I was helped by the store Manager Brittany. she was absolutely amazing! Brittany helped me find the right plan and phone based off of my needs. She went over everything with me, and stopped to see if I had any questions for her. she helped me set up my new phone and got all the content off my old one onto the new one. she even made sure I knew how to answer my new phone lol she was extremely patient with me and and her employees there were also very helpful. They even asked if I wanted a cup of water lol I am glad to know that I have a local verizon wireless store in my community that I am always welcomed at. This place has TERRIBLE customer service. They tried ripping me off and I had to call Verizon's Customer Care to straighten it all out. I only needed three lines on my account and ended up with 2 extra lines?! They obviously don't know how to do their job because when I made them aware of it immediately, they didn't fix it. Verizon has 2weeks of customer guarantee on lines.. they didn't even make an effort. And they take personal calls while making you wait for their help. And I don't mean like 5 min.. I mean the personal call was half hour long. I gave them a chance and was ignored and lied to by the manager. He said that it was "handled", when it was not because I checked with Verizon and they said no changes were made and had to fix it for them. They are an indirect store for Verizon.. meaning they are not corporate. DO NOT GO TO THEM FOR ANYTHING. They will screw you over!! Btw.. I know one guy working there and the only good reviews about this place are from him and his friends. Pretty sad and pathetic! THEY WILL TRY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY!!! By doing their "mistakes". She had no idea the plan could be applied to her almost new iPhone 7. We got it returned less than a day later but incurred a $70 restock and a $20 setup fee. Buyer beware. Horrible store, just as bad staff. Don't get me wrong, at first glance they're great. They seem helpful, and they seem like they're trying to save you money. But that is NOT the case. I had decided to switch from Sprint to Verizon earlier this year, for obvious reasons. Since my boyfriend had gone in for his birthday and bought a new Note 4 and had a good experience, I thought "why not?". I went in and traded in my galaxy for an iPhone 6. My first red flag was how rude the associate was while I was getting my iPhone. He refused to give me any good specs on the phone. Instead, he just told me how much iPhones such and how Samsung is soooo much better(I don't agree, I've always had problems with high end Samsung phones!). Secondly, I walked out without a working phone. He claimed that because I traded my phone in store, it would take a week(SEVEN DAYS!?) for me to start receiving phone calls. Firstly, I've been in this business, I know that you should never let someone leave your store until their phone is working. None the less, I had to. Two and a half weeks later, my phone still wasn't working. I called Verizon and they told me that the store actually totally screwed my port up! They didn't even do it correctly. The same associate who screwed up my port also told me I would receive a $100.00 credit in 3 months for porting my number over from a different service. I asked three or more times if this was for two years as well as the Edge program, since I was getting a two year. He assured me that yes, it was for two years. Three months later, they tell me that he had lied to me!! The manager was supposed to call me four different times to discuss and guess what? She never did. This store is more concerned with selling new phones rather than helping you with your existing phone. I was pressured into purchasing a new phone after I was told that my existing phone, that was under warranty, would leave me without a phone for the time that it take to send my phone out and get a replacement. After paying off my phone that was under warranty $340, I was now paying $660.00 for a new phone. $940.00 later I am were I started. They are very quick to get rid of the old phone, as I could not get them to return it to me. The manager of this store is very rude and unprofessional. Do not go to this store. On Oct. 13, 2015 I purchased the Samsung Note 4 from this store. They gave me the typical spiel about not leaving the store with an "unprotected" phone, so I consented to purchasing the recommended case and screen protector. (Though they are much more expensive then purchasing the same items elsewhere.) I was assured that I could return the items within 14 days if I was not happy with them. This gave me piece of mind, considering that I was unfamiliar with the device and it felt VERY large and bulky to me but was willing to give it a try. On Oct. 21, 2015 I returned the Note 4 (because of the large size,) and exchanged it for an LG. The LG phone was awful! It did not change over all of my info while in the store, It did not hold onto my downloads and the screen would freeze up quite often. Because I had to keep replacing my apps., I blasted through all of my data for the month and had to double my data plan. Because I DID like how the Note 4 performed, (and the only problem that I had with it was the size,) I went back to the store on Oct. 28th to exchange back. This time with out the big bulky case that they had talked me into the first time! The guys were great. The salesman checked with the (male) manager who had said that they would exchange the LG back for the Note 4 at this time. The other (female) manager intervened and said that "only 1 exchange is allowed!" Because the paperwork had already been started, (and I was already told that it was ok) she reluctantly allowed the exchange to continue. Now this part is my fault for not carefully reading the contract. When I was told that I "had 14 days to return the phone," I did not realize that they meant ONLY 1 phone, and they do not bother to reiterate that to you! The female manager was VERY rude, to say the least. However, I was very grateful for the exchange and thanked her for doing it. (It would have been hell dealing with the LG for the next 2 years!) On Oct. 31st I went to use the camera for the first time on the Note 4 and it would not focus at all. It would not even try. If you snapped a picture it was fuzzy and blurry. I tried changing the functions. Other tech savvy friends tried the different functions also. No luck. Something is seriously wrong with the camera on my $650. phone! I was out of town, so as soon as I returned I rushed into The Verizon store thinking that they would take care of a DEFECTIVE device within 14 days of purchase. (Surely a defect was covered by the store.) NOT!!!! I spent 2 days with the salesman. He attempted a factory reset to see if that would clear up the camera. He helped me contact Verizon x3 until we got someone on the phone to agree to replace the defective phone. However, Verizon does NOT SEND YOU A NEW PHONE TO REPLACE THE BRAND NEW DEFECTIVE PHONE THAT YOU JUST BOUGHT! No one bothers to tell you this. The replacement is a reconditioned phone that was returned by someone else! I don't know about you, but I do not fancy paying $650. for a RECONDITIONED phone. I purchased a "new" phone. It was defective. I returned it to the store it was purchased from with in 14 days of it leaving the store, and the STORE will not replace it! This store does not stand behind the products that they sell to you, the manager is rude and nasty, and their comments about "returns" (though comforting at the time of purchase) are very misleading and manipulative! If you buy a new product from them and it is defective out of the box, you will either have to settle for Verizon sending you a reconditioned used replacement, (Someone elses return) or send your phone to the manufacture for repair and be out of a phone for 2 weeks. (In this case Samsung.) The manager of this store does not have the integrity to replace it and send it back themselves once they have your money! read more

Thats a lie, I went to the Chico store and they are having a replacement sent to me. It took less than 5 minutes. Red Bluff always takes much longer to do a simple task. read more
