David was amazing! I had been on the phone with TWO Verizon "techs" perse for 2 hours for 2 days (a total of 4 hours wasted),and they still didn't fix my problem. I ended up going into the store in Rutland, VT where DAVID knew exactly my issue & fixed it within 15 minutes. Samsung automatically updates my phone, and this update was flawed, as it wiped everything off my home screen (except the Google apps), and wouldn't let me move any of my apps back to my home screen. 4 hours of frustration, and it was fixed by a store tech in less than 15 minutes. Don't waste your precious time with Verizon phone techs because honestly, they are very nice & TRY to help, but didn't. read more

It was much more complicated than I anticipated but he's a great listener & gave me very clear instructions which I was able to follow independently. Made an appointment the day before & was happy I did. Checked in through the email I received, walked in, and was immediately taken care of. JEAN was absolutely wonderful, respectful and understood why we were there. Unfortunately, our venture took more time than we had anticipated, but my anxiety about getting a new phone & porting over all of my information from my old phone was self-inflicted. Phew. Absolutely terrible experience as expected from Verizon. Showed up was presented with a great bundle deal for an Apple Watch and new iPhone. I was planning on paying the full 100 for the Apple Watch which I was told I could do in my next bill. After going back and speaking with an agent I was told this is not the case and I can pay the full $350 for the device in 30 days. I must still keep it on plan for 6 months totaling $60 and an activation fee even though it has not even been connected to the network. So now I have found out I will be out over 400 dollars for something I could have gotten at Walmart for 3. This was a total bait and switch and I truly feel the business practice is unethical read more

Don't go here I spent an hour trying to get a new phone and iPad. I agreed with all their charges. I submitted proof of my id online plus had to speak to soneove on the phone to co form my identity. They did a credit check And after an hour they couldn't figure out how to submit the paperwork to corporate. After an hour they told me they were going to have to restart my application Seriously??? You are the absolute worst salesman. Whatever they force you to buy; keep your receipt. It was run by two kids with no experience who got the job because they were offered high commission. When they are incentivized to be absolute trash and rip people off by deleting their phones and number and not deactivating the accessories and devices which are returned it will cost you big money. They hold your credit over your head because if you don't pay or they charge you too much YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY. Their customer service is not in synch with morals or ethics. Their customer service is zero to null and whatever the salesman wants you to do YOU HAVE TO DO. They won't do business unless they make a large substantial profit. I have been a loyal customer for over 4 years until I left and went to another wireless carrier.... I could no longer access my Verizon site nor get detailed billing information Got weaseled out of 132.28 that I thought was an early contract deactivation fee, but no.... Verizon is now saying the finalized bill is just about $600.00??? I'm smh and going why? The termination fee or early termination of the contract fee is $170.00 Stay away from Verizon and go pre-pay at all cost! Would really just love to pick up the phone and call before going to the store to be sure everything I need is there and if I have questions, they can be answered before I arrive. No such luck. Here's a phone store that doesn't have anyone to pick up the phone to talk to you. You are put into the system and can't get to a real person. Put on hold for 20 min. and finally hung up. Bait and switch. An employee shows you a $60 dollar plan. You believe and add 2 phone lines. Welcome to Verizon Wireless ! Two days later, you come home , register on-line , and see , you are on $90 plan - both lines. How about some diligence. Then you try calling the store. Good luck. All sales, no service. Two trips to the store to reactivate a Verizon purchased phone and all my 82 y/o mother got from salesman Mike was a rude runaround. I finally called the customer support line from two thousand miles away and activated her phone for her remotely. All I had to do was call *228 and then press option 1. Apparently those four keystrokes were too much of a bother for a saleman who was clearly pissed this old lady was not good for any commission. I'm sorry that Verizon pays it's personnel poorly but they need to emphasize service in addition to sales. In my business the former often leads to the latter. read more

Look... no one likes to go to the Verizon store. It's like what they say about buying a boat. The two happiest days of Verizon customer's life is the day they start service and the day they cancel! :-) Even still, it's refreshing to have a nice 'technical issue' visit - and you can expect that when you visit the Verizon store in Rutland (especially if you get Ryan as your tech.) Service was a little slower than you might expect, but you quickly realize it's only because the techs go out of their way to debug and diagnose your phone problem. Great job guys!!! read more

Used car salesmen are more pleasant to be around. Went into replace or upgrade my phone left with the same broken one. You know you are going to be pressured into buying over priced accessories but when you say no and tell them amazon and eBay are cheaper but the "manager" still keeps on trying to shove it your face. I have had a terrible experience 3x with one particular agent. All he wants to do is sell hardware. If you have a technical question , or a set up question, he will not help. I bought my wife a iPhone X and he told me I could go sit on one of their benches and set it up myself. That's ridiculous. It like buying a car and they hand you the keys and say figure it out on your own. I have never been as outraged as I was. I will never deal with him again. Went there twice trying to get my whole family on their family plan and ended by choosing another provider because waiting to talk to someone for more than an hour is simply unacceptable. If I had to give my first visit last week when I upgraded my phone on Friday a rating, it would have been 3 stars. I just didn't feel right leaving the store with what I was told. Yes, as I thought, I was not given the right information and I had to make a return trip yesterday afternoon. This was after I spoke for 2 hours with a tech support agent and Apple and one blamed the other. The tech support agent finally told me to go back to the store where purchased to fix the problem. Now I go back to the store being confused, upset and yes, a bit angry. Enter Jennifer, Christine and Nathan and within 5 minutes, I was crying happy tears. They did an exceptional job of understanding my situation and showed a great deal of compassion and even offered me tissues. I have to tell you I have been on a roller coaster ride with this store, but I truly think it is not the employees' fault for any issues I have had. Verizon needs to better equip their brick and mortar stores with better wifi connectivity! Most of the issues I had happened because the wifi at the store and the lack of enough staff to handle the sheer volume of people that visit it.
