I have been having horrible issues for weeks trying to get my phone set up on an upgraded plan, calling verizon service line over 5 times and visiting another verizon store twice. Nobody was able to help me and nobody told me why the issues were happening, finally I decide to take my phone into a different Verizon store by my workplace. DO NOT PAY FOR THE SET UP AND GO FEE, ITS OPTIONAL, if you can set up your own new phone. Went in to upgrade two phones, I already knew what I wanted. Asked for the first one first and Mark A. went over the fees and taxes, he said there was a set up fee, which I said I could set up the phone myself. He said I had no option and would have to pay it regardless of him setting it up or me setting it up. I decided to purchase the phone because my grandma needed it but ordered the second phone online. I asked if it would be ready by today and he said it would take about 40 minutes. I didn't hear back that day and called the next and they said they didn't actually have it in stock and would have to cancel and reorder somewhere else (something he could have told me the day before). While on the phone with costumer service they let me know that the set up and go service was optional and did not actually have to pay for it if I wanted to set up my own phone. They will lie and say you have to pay it but verizon confirmed that they could not force you to pay if you set up your own phone. read more

After a long day of dealing with another unhelpful Verizon store it was a breath of fresh air to meet someone who goes out of their way not to just help you but to relate and communicate with you on various options. He will not try to sell you like most Verizon employees do, he will try and help you with full disclosure. THAT is hard to find these days and I would recommend this store to not only current customers but new customers as well. There are a few things in life that a woman feels uncomfortable doing by herself like walking into a car dealership by herself, going to the mechanic, and shopping for a new phone. I think it has something to do with having a man sell u things where u don't feel like you're in control of the situation. I walked into this Verizon store with a clear goal in mind. I was going to upgrade my phone to a Samsung galaxy s5 which was being offered at $99 with a 2 year contract. I knew by doing this I'd forfeit my unlimited data, but I needed a new phone and could not afford to buy one at full retail price or make $20-$30 monthly payments for 2 years on top of the service bill. As it is my current monthly bill comes to $106. I wanted to reduce this bill if possible. I was helped by Johnny who was friendly, informative, and thorough. We discussed what I wanted to do and he pointed out that my monthly line charge would be $40 if I were to go the 2 year contract route (not the $20 I thought it was). All of a sudden my plan didn't seem like a such deal anymore since I was making up the low price of the phone by paying double the line charge amount (and losing my unlimited data). Johnny recommended that I choose a monthly payment phone because I'd be able to keep my unlimited data that way, and he showed me one that was only $10/month (moto z play). He also suggested that I ask family/friends for a spare phone to not have to buy a new phone and be able to keep my unlimited data plan. He and I went over all of my options, and he took his time and was patient with me as I considered a whole lot but in the end could not make up my mind then. All in all it was a pleasant experience and when I decide what I want to do, I'll come looking for Johnny. read more

I have actually been buying my cell phones from best buy, they have a better return policy, however since there was a special on the phone that I wanted I had to go in to the VW Store. I had a really good experience with the customer service people. They were very informative and suggested products that I would actually use, since my special required that I buy a bundle of stuff. Visiting this Verizon store will change your outlook on most service and wait times at legitimate Verizon stores - I don't deem franchises to be legitimate Verizon stores and have issues to prove it. I initially visited this store when I didn't have enough vacation time accrued to wait at the Huntington Beach location. Today was my second visit. Totally satisfied each and every time! My first visit was on a defective phone charger issue and the second one (today) was a billing issue that was not my fault. Came in today it was very busy. Looked around. Decided today I'd purchase an iPad. I'd been in the store for ten minutes no one was being helpful until "Chris" appeared. He right away answered any questions I had regarding the iPad as well as their plan options, warranties etc...after looking at my plan he made sure I was out the door with a huge smile as a satisfied customer. On June 27, 2013 - While on vacation to Disneyland, my cellular phone started acting strange and only speaking Asian when I would try to text. I would text my husband and he would only get boxes. He was concerned because the kids and I were alone in California and he hadn't arrived yet. I got on the internet and ask the desk clerk at our hotel to show me which location would be closest to the hotel. We found the Verizon store and were greeted at the door. After a quick wait, we were assisted by Elmer. We explained the problem with my phone, he couldn't figure it out and went to ask one of the other techs. They figured out that I had hit some globe button and marked all of the Asian languages. He also helped me connect my cellular to my laptop to download the pictures. I had tried it with my cord several times but it didn't work. I wanted to buy a new cord but they didn't have them in stock. I wanted to buy some more covers for my cell phone but they were out of stock because my phone was an "older" model. My phone was 9 months old at the time. I was very disappointed with the costumer service at this location. I been to many Verizon sites and was ever once forced to listen to promotion. Waiting for an hour for a phone I pre-purchase online was one thing but listening to promotion I had once heard couple week ago was unacceptable. When I made myself clear that I did not want to hear of the promotion, the employee understood and moved on; however it was apparent that the manager was unable to empathize with my demand. So we get to the store and already know what we are there for. We walked in (no one greeted us or anything) directly to the Apple Watch display and played around with them (still no one). My husband wanted to treat me to the new device as a late birthday gift, we gave them time looked at the speakers and new iPhone X still no one. There were employees helping some customers and others just on their phone or messing around. Went to this store at 3770 W McFadden Ave Ste H Santa Ana, CA 92704 to sign up for a 2 year plan and buy an Iphone 6 for me and my son. Talked to ERIC and he was very sincere and truthful guy. He showed us all the plans that would work for us and he gave us the best discounts. He explained everything very carefully and made sure i understood what he was doing. He also gave us a Tablet as it was included in the plan and he reduced the data cost as well. Also gave a great deal on covers, chargers, headphones etc.... This is the worst store ever! Please don't go here if you value your time and money! They don't answer their phones and they literally will destroy your phone bill. I recently went in to add lines on my phone and they added the wrong number and charged me for it. I ordered two iPads and I received the wrong ones and was also told I had to pay again to get them when that was never discussed. All these hidden fees they won't tell you about in advance. While I was there two separate customers enter and also have issues with their bills and are furious because they weren't told about all these different fees ahead of time. Clear communication is what this store needs and clearly new management. I was assisted by Guadalupe. I've had the worst experience at this Verizon location. Esther has the worst customer service she NEVER follow up with me as he told me she would. I placed an order for an Apple Watch with her on Monday morning she told me It would arrive the next day and that she would call me as soon as in arrived never did. She also told me she would place hold on iPhone 12 pro me. Tuesday afternoon no call back. I walked into the store got a tracking number I was told it would arrive the next day. Wednesday the tracking number showed Apple Watch was delivered at 1:30 PM. No call!!! Finally at 6 o'clock I called Whoever picked up call me the Apple Watch was not delivered. OK fine I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. Thursday comes around no call from Esther. Again I decided to walk in.. I was helped by a different employee they notified me that my watch was delivered on Wednesday and that the iPhone 12 Pro that was put on hold was sold earlier that day by Esther.
