I wish I had read the reviews of this nightmare of a store before I wasted any time going in. The staff is poorly trained, and spends more time asking each other questions than actually answering yours. The " manager" has no leadership abilities whatsoever and seems to spend most of his time avoiding customer complaints, of which I am sure he has many. We had placed an order for a new phone, after an excruciatingly long amount of time in the store enduring the bantering and unfamiliarity with the product ( not to mention no phones in stock) and informed them that we would pick up the phone three weeks hence, due to a planned vacation( the order was placed early, at their employee's advice, in order to take advantage of a special). On vacation, we receivd two phone calls asking when we would pick up the phone ( apparently no one made any notes on the account, either at point of sale nor after I called back in response to their call). Even upon reconfirming the pick up date, just before going back into the store, received yet another call that the phone was being sent back, because we hadnt picked it up. Really??? We called back and asked to speak to the manager, and was told that he had been out since the morning. Asked to have the manager call us, and when he did not, we went into the store. What a surprise when we found the manager behind the counter, chatting. Asked why he had not called, he said he had a note to do so, but hadnt gotten around to it. So we got around to cancelling the whole order and walked out. And btw, turned out they had orded the wrong phone anyway. Went to Costco, where a mature and intelligent salesperson, who knew his product ( and no waiting!!!) completed the transaction quickly and efficiently, with a phone in stock, and for less $$$. read more

We have always hated shopping for replacement phones...until we met Drew. What a pleasant surprise in level of service compared to our previous 25 years of cell phone ownership. He took care of everything and was extremely pleasant to deal with. Drew set up the new phones while we went to dinner and they were ready when we got back. He even followed up the next day to make sure we were happy with our new phones! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend anyone looking for a phone to go see Drew. read more

When I first came into this store there was a male manager who helped us with purchasing new phones.. He was quite helpful and claimed he was giving a really great discounted price. That was great and all but anyone in a "Sales" positions job is to convince you that you are getting a great deal at a great price.. Sure they are pushy.. That's what you do in a sales position. BUT... Its good to know how to approach in a friendly manner... BTW.. I hear this man no longer works at this location. My reason for 2 stars is from my last experience at Verizon. I was helped by a female who seemed to be coming off annoyed while helping me.. She went through her typical sales pitch to convince me to signing into a phone plan where you pay full retail on the phone and are discounted a very small fee in your monthly bill... Are you kidding me?!! No way... The worst part is that she signed me up without my knowledge to a protection cloud program that deducts straight from my bank account $10 a month!!!!! Why would I agree ever in my life to an additional $10 a month on my already overpriced phone bill!!! It was quite a hassle to reverse this screw up. Soooooo bottom line! This store will try to scam you! They will succeed if you are slightly unaware of the system here. Unless you come here with a straight forward approach knowing exactly what you want and need... AVOID! & Verizon DO NOT bothering to respond to my review trying to save yourself... I find it disrespectful. Check out your employees and focus your attention on improvement.. I have been a Verizon customer since 2003 and I currently have 6 lines on my account with Verizon. I have experienced maybe 1 issue every other year. Every issue has come out in my favor, and I am sure this will too, but I do not want anyone else to have to deal with the fraudulent behavior from this Retailer. After reading this and other reviews posted, decide for yourself if you want to do business with this store. My 75-year old mother went into this store when her phone stopped working. She asked for help with her phone. She told Daniel, a sales rep, that she was authorized on the account, but that her daughter only has her on the authorization to get help with her phone as needed. She has never had her own wireless phone account and is not aware of how the plans, upgrades, etc., work. This is what Daniel did, in spite of what she told him: 1. Sold her a new phone 2. Signed her up for a HUM device, table and insurance plans 3. Advised her that she would pay $60 in fees for the phone and told her that everything else was free 4. Daniel was told by my mother to call me. He called and did not leave a message. She asked why he did not leave a message and he said he would call me back later. I was never called back. I noticed an email that I received from Hum Services. I called HUM and that is when I discovered what had happened. I called the Retailer and spoke to Daniel and found out that he had sold these items to my mother and I informed him I did not want any of those devices. Daniel's comment, with a rude attitude, was "Well she's authorized on the account," and basically that was that, as if I was just out of luck. I immediately called Verizon and they were as disturbed by this incident as I was. It took the Verizon rep on the phone 2.5 hours to change my account back to its previous state. During the 2.5 hours, my mother went back to the store and was told by Daniel that there was a procedure to return the items and that he couldn't do it then and to come back another day. I had her go back, but by then Daniel was gone and the other sales people then said that only Daniel could do the return because they needed Daniel's code to access the system and return her items. She was going out of town on Sunday and would not be able to come back until Wednesday, so we had to delay this process until then. The Verizon Rep also discovered Daniel had done the following: 1. Changed my plan to a 12 GB data plan. My previous plan was 25 GB. 2. Removed my Ipad from my account and put the new tablet in its place Here is the scam with this Retailer: They deceive the customers into thinking they are an actual Verizon store, and then tell you they are giving you all of these items free. Once the customer figures it out and returns everything (within 14 days), they charge a restocking fee and will not refund fees for setting up the devices. I have been in contact with the account liaison for this location to start an investigation. I am told that a report goes to the Corporate office of Verizon and the Corporate office of the Retailer, as well as district managers. I have only been told this information and so far and no one has contacted me. In my experience, Verizon has exceptional service, but this Retailer does not value that same level of service. With this Retailer location, it seems as though others have been taken advantage of as well, and that the Retailer should not be allowed to have the authorization to sell Verizon services and products if they are going to practice fraudulent scams against consumers. I have also had to remove my mother from my account authorization. I would like her to be able to have authorization when she needs it. It would be nice to see Verizon modify the account authorization options, similar to what they do with the Family Safeguards/Controls. I will be doing a follow-up to this review as I receive or don't receive additional responses from the involved parties. read more

Incredibly poor service as well as mischievious sales person who cares nothing about you except for how much he can rip you off. Bought an s7 edge with the buy 1 get one free promotion. My mother requested champagne gold s7, the guy at the desk (his name was Daniel, who is also the manager for the whole store) said yes no problem it will take about a week for it to arrive. Ok one week passed, we came back, and then he said one more week. Ok, we were patient since it was free. Came back the second week, he said one more week. From this we were like ok we will give you a second chance. Came back for the third time... guess what? Wrong color... a black s7... we were like ok what in the world. He then said to wait one more week for the gold, but we can take black for now and trade it with the gold later for free. We waited one week, came back, and got told to wait one more week, we were like ok one more stinking week you better have it. Came back, good news! Your gold has arrived! Yayyy! It was all good, until he said that we needed to pay for a $200 activation fee, as well as the tax. Well this may seem necessary, however, we already paid for the activation fee for the black s7, and now we are technically paying a grand total of 400 dollars for the activation fees. To make matters even worse, verizon (not the "premium retailer" but the actual parent company) is going to charge us additional activation fees for activating the gold. So in conclusion, if we do agree to take the gold we would be responsible for 4 different bloody activation fees for the same lines but with two different phones. One being black and the other gold. From this, we obviously chose to stick with the black s7, and decided to never to return to this store again. This was not the only incident, before this Daniel even promised us to get us a free VR if i were to buy the s7 edge on that day along with an additional line. Obviously he did not keep his word and told us he was not able to get the VR for us after we completed the transaction. Honestly, i managed to not get scammed at all, since i was already planning to buy the s7 edge before entering the store. Even so, it was awful how daniel tried so hard to scam me using so many different notoriously unconventional techniques. read more

Ish is the man to see if you need anything from Verizon!! My boyfriend and I went in Monday, he was just looking to trade-in/upgrade his iPhone 6S and ended up getting hooked up HUGE. Walked out with a new iPhone 7 plus, an iPad AND a tablet (and a bunch of accessories). All with unlimited data..ALL for the same price he was paying for his single phone prior. I went to this store despite what the previous reviews were, but I thought I'd give it a try because I needed a new phone. I had a boost phone which was okay if you're on a budget, but I was getting tired of the poor reception and unable to download things. Needless to say when I walked into this store I was greeted by a friendly rep named Crystal. She was so helpful and was able to get me a great deal on the edge plan with a Galaxy s5 with accessories and on top of this I also got a discount on my monthly bill because of where I work, all I had to do was show proof (old pay stub). The whole encounter was good and I normally don't write reviews, but because I had such a great experience, I just had to share. Anyone looking to upgrade their phone, stop by and ask for Crystal because she will definitely make it worthwhile. read more

STAY CLEAR OF THIS STORE! High pressure, fast-talking Aaron Sforza will try to charm you, but you can't believe ANYTHING he says. Spent more than 2 hours in the store trying to just buy a phone for my daughter. My wife had to return later the same day and she spent over an hour there as well. We would have just ditched the deal but he kept saying "just a couple more minutes". It got worse. He sold us a used iPhone 4 for $135. SOLD...not purchased as part of a contract. We bought out-right for $135 out the door. He told us if we bought it with cash, instead of having it part of our plan, he'd provide replacement insurance for free. Since the phone was going to a 12 year old, it made sense. He said if the phone breaks, gets lost or stolen, they replace it, no questions asked.. A few weeks later someone stepped on the phone and broke the glass on the back. We called Aaron who now says "you don't want to use that insurance...it's expensive and a hassle". He NOW informs me that there is a $125 deductible..He NEVER mentioned that before and he provided no documentation on the policy before or after the sale.He says "don't be STUPID...of course there's a deductible" Yes that's a quote! I said that the deductible is 99% of the cost of the buying the phone. He says "No it's not...to replace that iPhone is at least $400." Remember now...we bought the phone out-right for $135! What a huge scam! He then says...let me give you the name of a friend of mine who'll fix it for you" After all the delays, BS and misinformation I've already received, now he wants to send me to "a friend'? This guy is a total sociopath. He'll lie to you and never think twice about it. I'm not surprised others have complained. Don't bother calling their corporate office in Orange County to complain, they couldn't care less. They wouldn't return my call or emails and they didn't even know why I was calling. This place is bad business for Verizon, being that it ins't a direct retail store for them. Went and bought a phone, went well after 1.5hrs of being there. Took it home and returned the phone a week later for a reason that didn't make the store happy (found it for sale a lot cheaper elsewhere) I went in and said I needed to return the phone, they said there would be a $50 restocking fee and I said okay. This was BEFORE they had seen the box or phone. So I returned the phone, even though they were grumpy and complained the whole time about doing it. Then I got the receipt and it said on the paper that a restocking fee would only be charged if the DEVICE had damage. It did not. I asked them for the restocking fee back and they said the couldn't do that because the box was damaged. 1.) the charged the fee before seeing the phone or box. 2.) I don't consider the box the device. They wouldn't refund the restocking fee so I called Verizon. They said that they couldn't do anything about it since they are not a direct retailer and that their restocking fee is $35. DON"T go to this store because if you have a problem with them, Verizon can't do anything about it. read more

BEWARE. I had an active line that I haven't used in over a year - I kept it only because Verizon offered to charge only $10 if I kept it on my plan. Well my mentally handicapped brother's birthday is today so yesterday I went into the store to get him a flip phone. I explained my situation - I already have the line I just need a new phone and phone#. The sales rep sold me on a tablet saying "oh it's the same price, actually you're going to save money getting him this blah blah" he tried to convince me and a verizon phone rep that I HAD to cancel my line and open a new one because that was the easiest way WRONG! Then I make a call to my mom to discuss the tablet and he rings me up for accessories I NEVER asked for or said I wanted and goes your total is $168 and your new monthly fees are $20 plus insurance, well that's not cheaper bro. Well by then my mom already said don't get him the tablet get the flip phone so we start the process over, I pay the $30 remaining on the old phone I had for the extra line and he rings me up again and starts asking if I have a Bluetooth speaker, I say yes - oh is it waterproof? I'm like I have no idea who cares? Once again he starts ringing up accessories and I'm finally like dude I don't want accessories! He goes well your total is $108 but if you buy this speaker I'll bring it to $98. I'm like what? How does a Samsung flip phone that I'll be paying $5 a month for over the next two years cost me an additional $108 when I just added a line on Sunday over the phone and got a brand new iPhone 6s and all I paid was $40 for the taxes?!?! Some other guy chimes in and says well this flip phone is like $300 but I'll waive the fees for you today, you owe $30 still. I pay just so I can leave cause now I've been there for over TWO HOURS. I immediately call Verizon and explain what happened and she tells me oh it's a scam they do they make you pay for the entire phone and then also sign you up for the monthly payment plan. Oh and they sent us a charge for an activation fee and upgrade fee which you shouldn't be charged since the line was already active and you paid off the old phone in full so there was no upgrade just a new phone purchase! She said DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE - it is not affiliated with Verizon so they can't issue complaints! She did credit my account for their bogus charges and advised me to contact my bank for the additional $30 they charged me because I already paid it directly to Verizon! read more

Do not shop here. If you must use Verizon which I also don't recommend go to a real Verizon store not an authorized retailer. I drive back-and-forth a lot from here to Arizona and I needed a mobile hotspot so I purchased one from them with the understanding that I get 14 days to try it out. I specifically asked Melissa if I was not happy with the service and I return it will I be charged and she told me "possibly a restocking fee of the unit is damaged but that is it, no other charges." Well when the hotspot did not work in the middle of the desert as it was promised to do I returned it when I got home from Arizona and what do you know I was charged $70 for activation fees data usage etc. I went back to the store and Melissa even acknowledged that she did tell me that but then changed her story to say she meant no charges from that store, but she didn't make that clear and I ended up paying for it. when a company tells you you get 14 days to try it out that lead you to believe that it's a 14 day trial and don't be no penalty if you're not happy and especially if you ask the representative at the store and they tell you there will be no charges then it should be pretty clear-cut I'm a reasonable person and I even agreed to pay the data usage but I thought it was ridiculous that they would charge me a line activation fee especially if I'm not happy with their service and it didn't work as promised but of course neither they nor Verizon would do anything about it and I had to pay it otherwise it would go on my credit. HORRIBLE! Beware of this location. I wish I had read previous reviews before I went into this store. This is independently owned. They can make their own rules and they do. I was told that the plan I was getting was not the best I could get. The manager, Chris, said he had a better plan for me. I trusted him and gave him the go ahead to switch me. He also said they were giving away "jet packs" with this new plan. Little did I know there was an activation fee and a monthly fee tacked onto my bill for having this jet pack. I never activated it. I didn't even want it! I had no idea until my bill came out. He also added insurance when I didn't previously have it or want it! By the time I had found out, I had missed their 14 day window for returns. So now if I return it and try to go back to my previous plan I will be charged a restocking fee and a cancellation fee! I feel so taken advantage of. When I spoke to Chris he basically told me there was nothing he could do. He couldn't waive the fees. I asked to talk to his boss and he said he would forward my email address and when the district manager made his way to the store he would get a hold of me. It's been a few days and I haven't heard a thing. I won't hold my breath. read more

I feel like I've been had. It seems these people don't mind lying to get a sale. Maybe they just didn't know any better, but that seems doubtful. It started when I was told the j3 was a direct replacement for the s5. If there are issues I can come back within 14 days for a free upgrade. The j must stand for joke because it is only like the s5 in appearance. When I went for the upgrade, I was told that it would now be impossible because I didn't keep the box. Without the box there is just no way to help me. I spoke with corporate. Way different answer. When I went back to the store, the were nice all of a sudden. The box was no longer something to worry about. Free ended up being $75 dollars worth of restocking fees. 35 was listed as restocking, but there were also two new chages of 20 each. I was told my bill would be ninety dollars a month. I was told data transmission is so efficient 4gigs would easily cover my needs. I used to pay $72 a month for unlimited service. Now I get to pay $117 a month for 4gb. Such a deal. I would never recommend doing business with these shysters. Good luck. read more

went to this store because the reviews for the store up at the mall were not good. time is not of the essence, took me 3 hours to change from a previous carrier to verizon. when i asked the girl the day before about how long it would take me to change carriers, she said "not too long" i would have been ok if she was honest and said it could take up to 3 hours, etc...and if my incident was a flook, how about throwing in something like a phone case or something? take care of your customers. hidden fees at the end of the process..not happy about that, but after being in there for 3 hours already, i was done and just wanted to leave..the staff is nice, a little unprofessional though and i think that may be due to them all being young. again, when issues due to the product at the store cause delays, compensate your customer..make them feel that you really apologize for the delay. i do feel suckered especially since i received my bill in the mail yesterday, not at all the figures we discussed, so i'll be on the phone tomorrow with verizon customer service..can't wait! read more
