Thanks Tarek for your patient help with my phone! Unfortunately after glitching a lot over the last 2 years, my 13 was DINE! So...I decided to get my new phone upgrade! (FREE) I really appreciate the fact that he wasn't in high pressure sales mode! He showed me all my options, costs, savings etc...and he helped set it up. I've been coming to this location since they first opened and have always had great customer service! Not sure about all the crappy reviews? I think maybe they expected more than what the stores are set up to do... They're really for sales and minimal tech support. They do a great job here regardless of what the 1 star reviews are saying. Highly recommend coming here and please note, this is a corporate store and I have made the mistake of going to an "authorized Verizon dealer" store twice where both times I've had BAD experiences-both occasions they totally messed up our account! This store HAS 2 STARS * * which tells all. A very poor rating by the yelp standard. The only way that this could be anymore accurate is if it had ONE star. Read the reviews and see the recurring theme~ I won't make this an EPIC RANT~ however this should be known. I had a ridiculous new phone issue that cost me around 16 hours of my life ( was probably more) and lost income from December to March in trips to this stupid store. The problem was partially with the phone but more so with the service and I had to suffer through random employees guessing at the unsolvable problem, with bunches of pointless phone calls to customer service, from within the store with employees (ironic) yet not telling me they were taking guesses at the problem and speculating the entire time. *No existing protocol for such a problem exists and it likely remains that way.(Yet T-Mobile DOES have a fail/safe for such an issue)* Trip after trip after trip to the store- all with an undercurrent of increasing condescension and being patronized. I kept coming back and entertaining the nonsense because I REALLY DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE VERIZON (Stockholm Syndrome) until I finally got fed up and cancelled everything and simply went to T-Mobile in mid-March. Ironically, I was with verizon for over 16 YEARS with no problems. In less than an hour I had a new fully functional service and strong signal bars everywhere I go with T-Mobile. On a few of the trips I had to suffer through with this store some mindless "Party music" that seemed to hold some importance. Some employee kept playing the party music noise which was counterintuitive, undermining the integrity and seriousness of the store and my problem. The party music was derailing my thought process, and focus and I probably would have said YES to anything to be able to get out of there!! No one seems to read the customers here. Maybe mistakes, and poor customer interactions are covered or hidden to maintain a status quo as often is the case in retail? Maybe the store is poorly run. I don't know. As for the company verizon, I had a pretty good overall career experience, and some satisfying interaction with other verizon stores, but this store FAILS. Something is wrong here. Most people will not likely have an experience such as myself and some others on here but It is no wonder verizon is hemorrhaging customers. I'm also now paying $50 instead of $73 per month as an accidental BONUS!! I made an online order for same day pickup, and placed the order 2.5 hours before the store closed. Unfortunately, the store dI'd not fulfill my order the same day. The worst part - I walked into the store at 7:45, but the employee didn't get to me until 7:52. He decided to tell me "We close in 8 minutes, and it takes 10 minutes to fulfill the order". I've been a Verizon customer for 22 years...clearly they DO NOT value loyalty, and they DO NOT respect long term customers! read more

Just know this.. Calling Customer service is how 99% of what you need to do has to be done calling in. You can really only buy product from the store. Calling CS can be a blessing or a curse. It used to be wonderful and I would get way better service and better promotions calling in vs. visiting a store. Now calling in is hit or miss. I highly recommend calling during regular USA business hours so you get USA customer service. Too many barriers when you are transferred to the overseas CS network. Sometimes i just keep calling back until I get USA service. I upped the stars to 2 as the manager was apologetic but our sales person was like "oh well" . we returned the wi-fi modem to the store, that was without incident, but then we found out the 4 hours spent on the phone was for naught and we had to go home and do it again this time for 1 hour 15 minutes to get my husbands phone linked to my account. It only took an hour because we actually got USA customer service and they completely understood what the problem was. I didnt have to spend 30 minutes listening to him apologize. We overheard another client having the same problem. I realize this isn't the store's problem but There has to be a better way to connect clients especially 28 year clients to a direct rep who knows what they are doing. The store should have a "hot line" that can call into corporate without a 45 min wait only to get a first level coached staff member. I spent well over 20 hours on this phone project . read more

If anyone is doing a study on incompetence, then look no further than this stellar store, it is on full display with the utterly poor customer service, no sense of actually wanting to help anyone and the air of people who think you should be thanking them. We all know what Verizon charges monthly, and to be honest they should be thanking us. After this complete fiasco I switched to AT&T after 20 years with Verizon. Verizon used to be the front runner, the company who was willing to earn your business by being professional and above all, customer service. I ended up calling Customer Service to complain about the service I had received and that I still have not received my network extender, since we have poor cell service at our home, her suggestion to me was I should switch to AT&T because they have a better service. When you hear a different company telling you to go to a competitor because they can't offer any kind of customer service or equipment that you need I think that speaks louder than words goodbye VERIZON it's been a slice. read more

If I had rated for my first visit to this location, it would have been a 3, maybe 3.5. Saturday, though, I had a great experience! My newer cell phone had been making calls in and out on Friday, but Saturday it just wasn't. Tried online support and that went nowhere fast. They didn't have any customer service reps to speak with for at least two hours. Got ready and came over to this Verizon store instead, expecting that it would take a long time to get help with it being a week before Christmas. Instead, though they were busy, I was lucky to have a team member come up to me in a few seconds time and offer assistance. When I told her what was happening, she immediately responded that they'd been seeing a number of customers with SIM cards that needed replacing. She grabbed a new SIM card, registered it to their system, swapped it out on my phone, then tested by calling my phone from hers. We then reversed it and I called her phone from mine, and I was good to go again. The whole thing took less than ten minutes! That was a fabulous result to a problem that could have derailed the rest of the weekend. I was able to run several other errands thereafter at the Town Center Mall and still make it home to get ready for a holiday party that evening with less stress in my day due to this excellent customer service! I didn't catch the representative's name, but she definitely made my day brighter. read more

We have been waiting now over 90 minutes for a basic phone number transfer. Not to check in kind you, but for the procedure . Poor Conrad, who is polite and apologized for the delay, was not able to complete this and his " manager kept barking orders to him without stopping to just help or do it himself . When I asked for him to assist he wouldn't do it and instead made excuses for the other departments . When I told him I am not interested in hearing this , he rolled his eyes at me. And when I told him not to do that he said he was used to someone being nicer. What?! I told him that I've shown a great of patience considering I've waited over 90 minutes and no end in sight. He walked into a back room and loudly said to another employee that " it must be the moon", to which I replied that it wasn't but rather incompetence. No reason to make customers wait this long, now going on two hours ! Again, Conrad was trying but the situation clearly needed more assistance vs. Conrad getting transferred to multiple departments . And especially no reason to be rude to a customer and just offer excuses versus just stepping in to help. This store has absolutely the worse customer service. I went into this store twice now and have been ignored not even acknowledged by one person while the agents sat at their desks looking at their phones with no customers. (Side note. If they are working on something customer related. They should do this out of the sight of the customer in front of them. Or at least acknowledge the customer standing there and SOMEONE stops what they are doing and serve the client.) The first time 4 agents including the manager ignored me. When I finally got help to purchase an iwatch I was dismissed and told to go to Apple! (really?!?!) (and, I did!) This is for Verizon in general. Today, I was alerted that they were unable to withdraw my auto-pay. I looked at my account and discovered my card on file was expired. So today, Verizon charged me an additional $30 because they were unable to withdraw $30 from my auto-pay account. Today is May 25, 2024.... my bill is not due until June 1, 2024. Not only do I pay my bill early, but I have never missed a payment or been late or over due. I don't agree with this practice, I don't think it's fair. I'm an unsatisfied customer. I would have given Verizon a "0," but that option is not available. I'm upset, and this is unfair. I would not recommend you to family and friends. Again, my bill was not due until June 1, 2024, and you penalized me with a $30 charge for a bill that is not due until June 1, 2021. I'm not sure about these reviews. I think people shouldn't base their complete thoughts about a store based on just on reviews they read. I think they should base it on their own experience. My friends and family highly recommended Verizon Wireless to me. I was with Tmobile for years. Never did me wrong. My account was always in good standing. Service was just ok. Until the day I made the switch, Tmobile, locked both my phones, held my numbers so Verizon couldn't port it. It was a total nightmare to get Tmobile to release my numbers. They were acting like complete assholes (excuse my language). It felt like a bunch of kids bullying a kid. Going back and forth with them. It really sucked. P.I.M.A Until I walked into this Verizon Wireless store, right after work, one hour before they closed. It was the best night of my life. They took multiple steps to get my numbers ported. (I ended up purchasing 2 S24 Ultras) . They got those 2 phones activated and ready to go. The level of customer service that I received that night was above and beyond. I went in their upset and irritated. I came out a completely different person. They really made my night. I will never go back to Tmobile. Their customer service sucks. The way they treat people is fake because at the end of the day. They will end up screwing you over. As I said before, it's ok to read reviews, but experience things for yourself. One star is too much. I was in this store 11/18 at 5 pm. There were 5 customers. Two separate women trying to do business were talked to like trash! Overhearing both of there issues it involved pricing. Bait & switch As I listened to it all, both basically had the same issue. They were quoted a price agreed on then the price had changed for BOTH WOMEN! Higher of course. Listening to there plights I knew that they had been baited by multiple male sales rep along with a store manager. THIS IS NOT A VERIZON STORE BUT A FRANCHISE THAT USE HARD TACTICS. They were yelled at by the group of men as they were told they were crazy. One was kicked out of the store as the manager on duty told her he refused her service and to GET OUT! They also got me! My Internet went down. I was told the service I needed (which was actually incorrect) was free. After I left as they couldn't solve my issue I got a bill on my account from verizon! $85.00 I have contacted Verizon corporate. They have had issues with the high pressure sales tactics by franchise. We DO NOT HAVE A TRUE VERIZON DEALER IN SIMI. Stay away from the franchisees. Absoutely CONSISTENT horrendous service... Worst customer service that have EVER had... Sadly, it's been consistent at this specific Verizon location. My personal last (3) upgrades ATTEMPTS @ this location have been absolute horrible. I have been a 20+ year member of Verizon & NEEDED to update my phone due to an unfortunate incident & was without a working cell phone. Made my reservation early in the morning for 3:00 pm today & even showed up a few minutes early. After I arrived, I remained @ the main entrance to figure out their process (regarding lines, check-ins, customer service rep) unfortunately because we didn't receive a single greet, or a measley acknowledgment of our presence. Figured I was a few minutes early, why not wait. Then 10 minutes goes by... still not one person made an acknowledgement or even eye contact. I finally approached a young man, he acted annoyed and interrupted. I told him I had an appointment, he said to sit and wait until someone becomes available. Thought to myself the purpose of an appointment.... So I patiently continue waiting when a young lady walks up and asks to help me & he rudely tells her "I already logged them in". She just walks away. As of this point it is 15+ minutes past my appointment, not on has helped me, no one has acknowledged us. I had to remind them that I had an appointment for me 3:00 pm & was told to wait until someone became available. The young lady who wanted to assist us WAS available & was told not to because "I had already logged them in"... The guy who is busy with another customer has the young lady stop from helping us because it was clear he wanted the sale. I am so shocked Verizon has people as these represent their company. Absolutely pathetic, clearly this guy placed his "sale" a priority over a PATIENT CUSTOMER that had a SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. Sad part... Wasn't even acknowledged for over 15 minutes.  This "employee" needs to learn a thing called customer service, & RESPECT the consumers TIME... 4 days ago I would not suggest using this branch for Verizon. I have my business account through Verizon. I was told to go to this branch. Never ever again will I visit this location. I was treated like a criminal at the door. I planned on spending a few thousand dollars on phones today. Couldn't even look at what I was buying. Very unprofessional very rude staff never again. So Verizon offered a special trade in your old phone you get a s23 I paid the extra money for the s23 Plus and all the other charges, when I asked them could you help me transfer data and then they said well we're going to charge you 30 bucks to do that after spending the money I spent, I said understood what about just helping me put on the little plastic covering over the glass to protect it which is what takes if you know what you're doing 10 seconds now we're going to charge you $30 On top of that their attitude was very bad very rude and just terrible customer service I guess they don't care but I see why this business only has two stars from pretty much everybody read more
