It doesn't take an outstanding customer service representative to sell and activate a smart device. So, I can't give them credit for completing the most basic of tasks that I'm sure they are capable of. I give credit to individuals on how they solve problems when they arise, and the two gentlemen working at this Verizon deserve no credit. Long story short, they could not find a solution (a solution I later found in calling the customer service hotline--for the second time-- and speaking with somebody from S. Carolina!). It was one of those situations where the representatives intelligence level was not capable of solving such a problem... and that is ok. However, don't just stand there and tell me "that's all we can do, sorry." Work for it! Find a solution! Make some calls! Call the store manager! Something!!!!! read more

Unprofessional and Rude to say the very least. I went in for a simple bill payment, when an older lady came in asking for help turning on her phone. Christie snatched the phone and turned it on without saying anything, and handed the phone back. The lady was shocked to see her phone turn on and asked Christie how she turned the phone on for her. And she responded in a very rude tone saying "I just held the button down!" The lady was as shocked as I was and responded with "wow that was really mean and rude I just asked for help" and Christie responded again in a very aggressive and rude way saying "I wasn't being rude do you want to see me be mean and rude?!" The lady proceeded to leave saying that she wasn't going to return to that store. After she left Christie started to complain muttering "It's not my fault she didn't know how to use her phone" as I was leaving I told her she was really mean and rude towards the lady. And she proceeded to be very aggressive in tone with saying that she wasn't being mean or rude and asked me if I wanted to see her be mean and rude. Not ever paying my bills at a location that threatens me after giving and import. read more

I upgraded my iphone 5S to a 6S. I had trouble doing the upgrade and brought the 6s iphone into the verizoon store in South Pasadena. Andrew and Alex were awesome. My phone was recently stolen. Visited Anthony's store on fair oaks in south Pasadena around 7pm on a Monday. I was lucky enough to be the only customer in the store at the time. Anthony was responsive and suggested a few options for me. Once I made my decision he quickly got my new phone set up. I was in and out in about 20 minutes if that. I will never go back to this store again. I've purchased multiple upgrades for phones in the past with no problems but this last experience really disappointing and frustrating. I went in to upgrade my iphone 5s to a iphone 7. I was helped by Taylor Shelton. Things started off fine and she started explaining how we could change our plan, save money and on top of that get a free tablet in the process. Part of the appeal was "no contract" by paying 79.99 for some type of customer loyalty program. What she conveniently failed to mention was that I was entering into a 2 year contract with the tablet. I even asked to see a breakdown or printout of the things I was signing up for before paying. Taylor claimed nothing was really available to show that. Confused, I paid my balance for my iphone and she followed by getting out a customer agreement and began highlighting the important parts of the contract! This customer agreement was the very thing i asked before paying and was denied. Once she handed it to me I noticed things like early termination fee, $70 dollar restocking, and a 2 year contract. If I would have been given a chance to review this "customer agreement" I would have never agreed to the tablet. But I wasn't. Only after the fact was I able to read these details. Why call it a customer agreement if I wasn't give a chance to agree to the terms?! I'm not even sure that is legal? Once I was able to grasp how I was badly misled, I immediately returned the tablet. And got stuck paying a 70 dollar restocking fee. Furthermore, I reached out to the manager Kenny and explained what happened. He said he would talk to customer support and he never followed up with me. He is also very difficult to reach with no representative willing to provide a schedule so I can call at the right time. Never dealing with this store ever again, bottom line. I will buy from Apple or Verizon directly. read more

Best customer service!!! I wanted to get my son the new iPhone X as a Christmas surprise. Cindy helped me order the phone and noted my file that it was a surprise so no one can call my son when they receive the phone at the store. When the phone was received, Kenny worked with me on completing the transaction making sure my son doesn't get any notifications so it remained a surprise. I came in thinking i would have a difficult time. Phones and contracts I feel like I'm always getting scammed. But Kenny helped me out and explained everything in full detail I truly felt I was getting out of there with the best service possible. On top of that it wasn't all business, I watched Kenny help three customers before me and he provided A+ customer service to all of them and then to myself. I work in customer service but I work for my tips every day, there's no tip jar at the Verizon store so it was really impressive that he was going above and beyond what my normal experience at any place would be. I ended up having to come back to the store a few days later and he remembered my name, what was going on with my contract and helped me out right away, I was able to get the phone I wanted the 7 plus with no problem. After talking to Kenny during my time in the store I found out he's an area manager and it's no surprise why. He killed it, so much so that I went out of my way to hop on yelp (which I never ever do) definitely appreciate the service and I hope I get to deal with him any time I come back. read more

These days upgrading or buying a new phone can be a pain, an expensive pain! Both of our phones needed to be replaced and it had been a long difficult day at work. It was our good fortune to be waited on by Cindy M. She had the patience of a saint as she explained all the plans and details. It had been years since we upgraded and a lot had changed. Her patience was matched by her kindness and courtesy which she displayed with each customer who entered the store while we were there. We did not make it easy for her yet she never lost her sense of humor. We ended up getting everything we needed. It was a real pleasure being helped by Cindy, if only there were someone like her in every store, life would be better. read more

Verizon Wireless stores include both company owned stores and those operating by independent owners. This store is owned independently and is not a Verizon owned store. We ordered an Apple iPhone around September 19, 2012 and received a receipt date of October 19, 2012. My wife went into the store a week before the due date and was told the order would be in. I went into the store on October 19th and was told the phone did not arrive. Although there weren't any customers in the store, the clerk suggested I come back tomorrow. Given the news stories about manufacturing problems, I requested that the clerk confirm the order status. The order had been cancelled as it was incorrectly input by the original store clerk. The store manager had to handle this as the clerk was not skilled enough to understand the computer system. The store manager had to make calls to allow her to properly process my refund. The store manager was completely indifferent to the difficulty and delays that my wife and I experienced. She did not apologize or express any regret for the difficulties we experienced due to their errors. All of our experiences demonstrated incompetent people that are indifferent to customer service. We went to a Verizon owned store and our order was promptly and efficiently processed. The sales associate at the Verizon owned store was efficient. She also warned us about using the independent resellers. I will definitely avoid the independent stores in the future and go to a Verizon owned store. read more

Horrible! I don't know what these "sales associates" are doing while customers are not there but they seem high. I had an average experience at best 3 days ago when the sales guy placed an order for a new phone. He could not explain how the Edge program works just that it saves me money. The following day I had a call from him asking me about my receipt since he wasn't sure if he actually placed my order. I asked if a upgraded model was currently in the store and I would just come in. He said yes. I went in w receipt and paid for the upgraded phone. At the end of the transaction he said we would have our phone by the next day. I then clarified, when I spoke to him on the phone that he told me the phone was in stock. He apologized saying he misunderstood me but they would call me the next day. No one called the next day by 2:00, so I called. I spoke to some moron who couldn't put a sentence together, he continued to contradict himself and whether he has/had/could look up my order. He said he needed my order number. I gave him the 2names it could possibly be under, he was apparently so out of it he asked me my name, phone number and receipt number 3 different times said he would call and I should call. Since he was not making sense so I drove over, to show him the receipt. The guy was still a moron but now rude with a blow pop sucker in his mouth. I called the closet store which is south lake and they were awesome, I wish I had not wasted 3 days with these fools. read more
