Verizon's CS and Verizon's Victra sales is aa total SCAM. Their CS and AI BS is a total joke! I was sold by a Victra Verizon store for a business account that shouldn't have been, wasn't legal to be created, and have spent at least 20 hours of phone calls and multiple in-person visits to stores, but still see the BS of their standard protical and AI BS taking me in circles. What one Verizon Virizon sales person sold me on and was cancelled less than 48 hours later, I've had my services locked twice and pathetic help with both their tier-one and tier-two customer service. Do not get involved with there prepaid service. If you change carriers Verizon will keep any money left on the account and will not refund it I am very curious how much money Verizon steals monthly from people that change carriers. How there theft works is, say you pre pay $120 on your pay in advance account and your monthly bill is $60. You change carriers and there is $60 still pre paid on your account. They do not refund the $60 back to the original payment method, they keep it. Verizon acts so unaware this is happening. read more

Awful store awful employees. When we noticed our phones quit working one day we drove to Stanwood to see if there was an outage. They told us there was no outage, but that our phones were too old that we just needed new phones. When we were done paying for our new phones, I overheard another employee tell his customer that there was an outage in our area and all phones were down. They flat out lied to us to sell us new phones, neither of which work as well as our old phones. They also told us we could get a great deal on a tablet and have unlimited internet anywhere we wanted for a great price. I specifically asked them how many gigs we get before they throttle our use. They said NO LIMITS. No throttling, and that we could stream movies all we wanted. After several months we finally had use for this new tablet when we took a trip in our motorhome. After a couple movies, it was done. No streaming for the rest of the trip. Now I'd like to get rid of Verizon for good. $1600 it's costing me to be done with this ridiculous company and their junk devices. Well worth it... read more

My iphone broke so I went to get a new one this week. Justin G was so great and super helpful! I got a new phone and he set it all up for me. I'm grateful for his awesome customer service! My only complaint was that I didn't realize that this wasn't an actual verizon store. There are big verizon signs everywhere so it didn't occur to me that this wasn't actually verizon that I was purchasing my phone from. If I could....I would give this store a 0 star! Unfortunately, I have tried to deal with them since we moved into town 3 years ago. After my experience in their store today, I will not step foot back in here! I will drive up to Burlington. I never know what to expect from this store except it will take you too long! Today I was treated unprofessionally, tried to sell me on a new Apple phone because mine was over 2 years old, and treated very unprofessionally. Don't waste your time! I stopped in to see why my Internet was so incredibly slow. The man working switched may plan, telling me it was the same price as what I already had. I hate leaving bad reviews but I used to be employed by an indirect Verizon retailer and I knew how hard it was to compete with corporate Verizon stores for our customers. The only way we succeeded doing that was in having consistent exceptional customer service. Today I went in to this Go Wireless store and I was sadly disappointed in the complete lack of customer service I received. There was only one rep, a bald gentleman in his forties, who was working with a customer. I was never greeted by him which is fine, I get it, reps are sometimes too preoccupied. But I waited..and waited. He just never got around to acknowledging that I was in the store and never took the time to tell me that he would be with me as soon as possible. I was basically treated like I was invisible. Eventually, I went over to him and his customer and I politely said excuse me and I asked question about the kind of cords that they sell. I was treated like he was offended by me being there or talking to him while he was working on someone's phone and it made me want to leave and and it definitely didn't make me want to buy anything. And knowing how employees are trained when they work for any Verizon store, I think that's really unfortunate and I think that GoWireless should know that. So just to clarify, I worked for an indirect for quite some time and have absolutely no bias towards indirect stores. In fact, I think that in a lot of cases they have better customer service because they are smaller and don't have the same kind of commission structure as corporate Verizon employees. Verizon training is centered on customer service. I love Verizon and I love indirect retailers but going to a store and seeing the kind of customer service or lack thereof that I always fought against is really disappointing and I think that this employee needs to be retrained or removed. read more

I have to agree with the other horrible reviews. Bottom line is the Verizon "Go Wireless" stores are independently Owned and change daily on what they will help out with and what they won't. Depends on the day and time along with the associate. I can't tell you how many times I have gone into this store only to have usually at least a 30 minute wait. Some associate will help with everything for an hour to one customer and yet other times they have no clue and the wait is horrendous. It ruins my whole day every time I go there. It's alway something. Verizon should not allow anyone to use there "Verizon" name and allow the horrible service. The key to run a good business is CONSISTENCY and this store lacks every ounce of it. You never know what your going to get when you walk in the door. I could go on and on. There basically not there to help Verizon customers there there to sale electronics that's it. Even when they do try and help which some will some won't they are trained horrible and again inconsistency. They 90 percent of the time has to call the actual Verizon main number so everything they do you can do much faster by calling yourself. That's all they do is call the 1800 number. On a differ note I'm disappointed that I have 5 new phones and an iPad between my kids and myself and my bills 1/4 of my mortgage every month but yet Verizon the actually company doesn't have 24/7 technical support of any kind. Tried everything to get in touch with them at 11:30 pm over questions on my insured but stolen iPhone (I needed the serial number) but no they close at 11pm - Say WHAT !!! What kind of multi billion dollar company that everyone relies on is not open 24 / seven. That's absurd especially with the amount of money consumers pay to Verizon and not open 24/7 is a horrible executive decision. Now back to the go wireless store. Corporate Verizon is who is at fault. Allowing horribly ran fake Verizon stores to run. That's what they are fake Veriozon stores. The Stanwood one is the worst !! Who is there district manager ? And why hasn't Verizon put an end to this. Why hasn't the district manager looked at these really bad reviews. I know I called him personally six months ago and didn't even have the courtesy to call me back instead he had the associate that I called and complained about call me back. Are you serious who does that !!! Basically it's saying I'm not good enough for a call back from this guy. Well it's no wonder when Verizon themselves ads not even open 24/7. Whatever it takes to save a buck in the meantime I get to pay my $500 cell phone bill every month for four lines. Overages (data overages to be exact) and all the other fees they charge there pricing is horrific and the go wireless store needs better management. Verizon in general is at fault. Having the Verizon wireless sign outside a business that's not really Verizon is misleading and false. The go wireless store also charges $20 extra per line when you sign up and get a new phone there. That's fine but they don't tell you that .... It just shows up on your bill at the end when your checking out. I get that they need to make money but they all should be the exact same...... There it is again the word "consistency" and not independently owned and operated. They need better trained staff and more staff. They need there district manager to take a hard look at many things and he probably should have personally called me back when I had multiple problems all in one shopping trip. I'm a Verizon wireless customer. My phone is dead. I need to buy one outright as my contract is too new to receive a discount, no problem. The store near my home doesn't have an LG4/black. I tell them I will be near stanwood the next day, they look up that store and find it has two of them. "Just swing in there and they'll take care of you. " I waited about 45 minutes because a couple was buying new iPhones and there'a just one employee on hand. When I get my turn I explain I want to purchase the LG4 and point it to my Verizon cell number. Yes, they have 2 of them! "But we won't sell you one." What?? There's a Verizon sign on the building, I'm a Verizon customer, another Verizon store sent me here and you won't sell me the phone?? "No, we're not a corporate Verizon store and we don't make enough money selling the phone if you aren't buying a new contract." So, I'm under contract, a Verizon customer, a Verizon sign is outside, they carry my phone and I can't buy it even after sent here by another "corporate" store. I'm sure somewhere in Russia that makes sense, cell phone stores where you can't buy cell phones. Won't be back. Will find other service than Verizon when the contract ends. Utter BS. I appreciate that the economics may not be optimal on just phones but if you're going to hang the Verizon banner you'd better be able to serve paying Verizon customers. NOT a real Verizon Store, It's a Go Wireless store dressed up as a Verizon location. They present themselves as a Verizon store which is total BS. They also charge in-store activation fees for new services that Verizon stores DO NOT charge. The manager Damon is a crooked little bastard too. I signed up for two new lines. That POS told me he would discount some imaginary set up fees to reduce the price of my two phone cases and two screen protectors from $50 each and $40 each to $10 and $5 each. Normally I would purchase those items off Amazon for $15 and $5 each, but the discount made it a good deal. Or so I thought. After reviewing the invoice I saw no credit, only the full $50 and $40 cost each of the accessories. Almost $200. So I call Verizon and explain. Verizon says there should NOT be any set up fee, only an in-store activation fee (which you DON'T have to pay at an actual Verizon store) and that I had been swindled. I go see Damon to get it cleared up and he offered a 50% refund. No dice jerk off. Give me my $150 back. I call Go Wireless corporate who gives absolutely zero craps, and finally tell Verizon that they are ultimately at fault as they are the ones allowing these scumbags to operate under the guise of a legit Verizon location. Verizon agrees with me and credits my account $150 to make up the difference. And they said that in the future they are not going to allow Go Wireless locations to have big permanent Verizon signs and present themselves as a legit Verizon store. We will see if that changes, but for now Verizon gets 5 stars, Go Wireless gets zero stars, and Damon gets negative 1,000 stars. And before Go Wireless responds with a request for more information, I spoke to a different Go Wireless rep on SIX OCCASIONS before contacting Verizon. If you want to be scammed out of your money this is your place! I would have given them a negative 10 but not an option on the stars and can't even give them a 0! Went in to get a new phone as my screen broke. Customer service agent spent 15 minutes trying to sell me a tablet that i said numerous times i did not want or need and then come to find out all the items I was told came with the phone (2 wireless chargers - told was i get one for free, 2 plug in chargers, and a case - that i didn't want as they didn't have any colors i liked but again told it comes with the phone so just pick one). Who need 5 phone chargers as the phone itself comes with one! The only thing i did need was the screen protector. Didn't get a receipt and now i know why and had to spend 45 minutes on the phone just to get a copy. Charged over $200.00 for the accessories i was told was part of the phone. Not recommended My wife was trying to switch her number over to AT&T their answer was there is nothing we can do about it and failed to explain to her why. So I ended up calling and asking why they couldn't do it in person. The representative that answered the phone told me that "that's just the way it is I guess" That's not really a formal answer. I then asked for the manager he gave me a good explanation that made sense there was a mix and a little misunderstanding. I get it. I then told him that's how it should be explained because the other way seems unprofessional. My only major complaint about the manager is he was defending what the employee originally said. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The girl working in the store the afternoon of 4/19/2016 was far more interested in playing with her fancy fingernails than providing any actual customer service. She was extremely rude and insulting even though my wife asked nothing more from her than to simply retrieve the box with my name on it from her back room. I had been in 2 days before with what I thought was a minor phone problem. I had a defective battery in a new phone and wanted to BUY a new battery. She clearly knows nothing about mobile phones. All she was willing to do is sell me a new phone and a new plan. she would not provide warranty service on the phone nor would she sell me a battery for it. she was rude and insulting. I was polite and said thank you as I left despite the fact that she was anything but polite. She was obviously irritated that I had interrupted her fingernail work. I went home and called Verizon customer service who immediately sent me a new phone by Fedex. They shipped it to the Stanwood GO Wireless store for me to pick up today. Today I went in with my wife to simply pick up the box that Verizon and sent for me and snotty little girl was the only person working in the store again. I let my wife walk up to the counter and I stayed back. I was interested in seeing if she just did not like me or if she is really a horrible customer service person. That's when the snotty little brat started mouthing off to my wife about "why did you have it shipped here?" "why did you not have it sent to your house?"
