They charged me for another month after service was stopped. I was told by an agent that the credits showing on line should have reduced my bill. I asked for paper bills from last year. I received two with two different charges without the reductions shown on line. Cox claims to care about customers. This a lie! Though I had Cox for several years, they did not help me Or show care for me. I don't believe I owe them anything and am angry they took out a payment after I closed account without my authorization. I spent many hours trying to resolve without response from supervisor response.

We scheduled a visit and installation of a traveling satellite dish on the roof of the coach, receivers for the newly incoming signal and activation with our choice of Dish Network. The installation team made the process easy and, in a relatively short time, we were watching our desired satellite channels and programs. These guys were able to make things work for us that other " experts" said could not work at all in our coach. Completely not true. I looked up Verizon's policy and you would just have to pay any of the unpaid balance. Next she tried selling me different tv bundle packages. I said I'm not interested. She tells me what you don't want to save money? She has no clue what I pay for and of my online services. Then she try's to sell me on Verizon internet. I told her I was not interested because a friend has it who has a smart house and when it goes down nothing works. I said I'm on fiber optic and have never had a problem so why change. She gives me attitude and tells me she has it and it has never gone down on her. Very disappointed in Verizon over my last couple of upgrades from a few different stores. I came to visit my dad and help with an annual house cleaning. During said cleaning, I managed to…read moremess up a few cables behind the tv while dusting. Oops. Suddenly, no direct tv, no sound. We tried to reset the system, called the 1-800 number for Direct TV, etc. No help. So, I checked trusty Yelp, of course, and found this nice, local, independent Direct TV provider. They answered promptly and we're able to come by right away since they happened to be working nearby. I knew it was just a user error, some kind of configuration issue, but how wonderful to get the system all functioning properly and so quickly! It sure beat having to call my husband, who got left behind this trip, and have him try for an hour or more to walk us through the issue. The two guys who came were very pleasant as well as prompt; the price was reasonable for a service call. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again in a minute.
