Walked in and saw 3 associates all standing in the middle of the store gossiping. Still kept looking, clearly not finding what I was looking for, you'd think one of them would have offered to help, but no. I finally went up to one of them, name tag said "Zoey", and asked where the item was I was looking for was located. Zoey could not have looked more annoyed that I dare interrupt her day! She pulled off her her phone, looked for a half second, then pointed and says, if we have it would be over there somewhere. In the entire 2 minute interaction, not a have a good day, thank you, hello?!? I walked over to "somewhere over there" and of course they didn't carry the item. Why even send me "somewhere over there" in the first place?! One associate was "somewhere over there" and I guess I distracted him from his cell phone he was on and he also simply pointed. I had to speak to foreigners, which are hard to understand. they must work from home cause there was a lot of screaming in the background. I placed an order online and went to the store for pick up. Late afternoon and the store didn't appear to be busy. Went to the pick up area and the two workers that I interacted with were both not the friendliest. I ordered a TV and they didn't offer a cart, they just pointed out where they were kept and wouldn't bring it out to my car which was parked right in front for pick up orders. I'm petite with disabilities and couldn't believe that they wouldn't help me to my car. I had to get my own cart, load it and bring it out to my car. I managed but I've never not received help for bringing things out like that to my car. Unbelievable! I wont ever shop here again. I would give NO STARS if I could. My son and I stopped into Best Buy to have his phone screen cover replaced. I had purchased the extended plan to be able to have this replaced as many times as needed throughout the year. While waiting in line for at least twenty minutes, I asked my son to go over to two workers at another counter to see if they could help. Neither person acknowledged my son standing there awaiting their assistance. He stood there for at least another 10 minutes and I called him back to me, still waiting in line. FINALLY, a person agreed to help us with this simple fix...but was told they do not carry the covers any longer. SO...the warranty I paid for is now null and void. I asked for my money back since the service is not usable any longer, but was told I could only have a store credit. WHAT??? If I paid for something and cannot receive what I paid for, shouldn't I get my money back? A miniscule $22 by the way...not hundreds of dollars. The manager Joe was very rude and basically told me that was all he could do and was condescending to boot! Cannot believe a store is allowed to run that way. The best thing about Best Buy is that we can make large purchases interest-free on our Best Buy credit cards. No fees as long as it is paid on time. I like to keep my savings in my savings account, and this is a great option. Right now, it is 299.00 or more interest-free. This perk has made it so we always go to Best Buy. I hadn't been in a while, and it was a ghost town. This place used to be so busy and packed that I dreaded the visit. Now, no one is really there shopping, and I now find it difficult to find a person to assist. I requested a stand-up stainless steel frost free freezer. We were recommended a 7 cubic ft. Did a delivery to the store, and we picked it up . Flawless, no scratches or dents. Unfortunately, it ended up not being frost free. Before ordering, I should have checked online under product details and not just went off the word of the kind young man who was covering every department in the store. Even a couple of days past the allowed date of the allowed 15 days. We were able to exchange and upgrade to the proper frost free freezer we needed. They usually require original packaging, but we had already made it into a vending machine as a summer project, with the kids, and they were fine with that. We did have to drive it back to the store. Since our first delivery to the store and self pick-up was so flawless, we went that route again. Again, damage and hassle free experience. Happy with the freezer, extra space. We do shop around when investing for big ticket items for our home normally. We take everything with a grain of salt, and take our time making decisions. We haven't been super impressed with the knowledge of employees. More so in the past than now. We really need to read reviews and talk to others. I noticed even the lowest end televisions with terrible picture quality has almost 5 star ratings, so we really have to be careful. They have a 15 day return policy. read more

They will not be able to have your phone done same day even if you become 3 pm like the techs tell you. Either a cord or a SD.. we tried out the cord and it wasn't working (my camera issues) so he open and showed me how to use the SD card . Abraham knows a lot about cameras. Me and my wife went in to get our screen protectors replaced on our we have done in the past and never had an issue, however, this time she told I have to pay the difference and that was it because they didn't have the exact same screen protector. When we bought the protectors, we were told that if they didn't have them available or they were discontinue. I was helped by the guys in the geek squad car installation sector around the beginning part of may to put in a new stereo for my ford ranger, and can I say these guys were fantastic! They did such a great job installing my stereo, I was supposed to get it installed at the Peoria location however they were getting roads paved so my appointment had to be canceled the day of, and I would've had to wait another 2 weeks, but the guys in surprise took real good care of me and got it done in no time, they gave me a tutorial on my new stereo and were super helpful. They were super nice guys and we talked about sports for a bit, then I went on my day super happy and relieved. I was pleasantly surprised that Best Buy now partners with Samsung, and I can either order through Samsung and pick it up at a Best Buy, or I can buy it directly from Best Buy at the exact price. Horrendous customer service experience. Back in July of this year (2024) I went to the Best Buy website to buy a backup camera and a JVC receiver that goes with my 2014 Ford F-350 Super Duty. A few days before the equipment arrived at my house I had to take my truck to the shop for transmission repairs. I did not get my truck back until 5 weeks later. Today, when I tried to schedule an installation (which I also had purchased through Best Buy), I was told that the receiver is not compatible with my my truck/backup camera I purchased from their VERY own website and instead tried to sell me one that cost significantly more. Now they will NOT allow me to return a receiver that is now NOT compatible that they themselves sold me for one that is and to just pay the difference. This was an "open box" purchase too, by the way! Even TODAY, their website STILL lists the receiver as "Frequently Bought With" which is completely deceptive and disingenuous on their part! See the attached pics! This is absolutely the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE experience ever for me! This will be the LAST time that I will ever purchase something like this from Best Buy. With Best Buy, everything is fine and they will smile and be "courteous" with you until you find yourself in a situation where they truly need to show that they care about you as a customer. Went for a laptop purchase. Employee asked if he can help so requested da specific laptop and he said they were out of stock.
