Terrible experience dealing with this store and Verizon in general. Traded in two phones on a promotion and they lost the trade ins ended up with a $300 monthly phone bill and a lot of empty promises. The store completely refused to do anything about it and would not even call the Verizon representatives back. AT&T customer service has been much better. read more

Will never recommend this store the owner or manager here can't give me a answer on this situation sense February 21 2023Worse verizon store you can do business with I traded in a phone in a year ago and they never send the trade in to verizon , I'm still getting charge for. This phone to my account , the manager here keeps saying they will fix the problem ,after me making phone calls they never answer , i been to the store a few times , they are just full of excuses and probably overcharging people's accounts ,verizon customer service don't do anything about the situation either, worse phone company I have ever deal with after having there service for the past 5 years ,can't believe they can't take care of the issue at all for me being there customer for the past 5 years ,I would look at my monthly bill if you guys have service with this company worse customer service ever read more

Terrible service. They never have any products and the staff isn't very friendly. The manager made me wait while she answered her text message. She didn't act like she even wanted to help me. I've considered changing my phone service due to the long drive I must make because my local Tooele stores lack of service. read more

Went there to upgrade my phone. The young guy had no idea how to do anything... took three hours. He kept messing up on the computer has to call his supervisor several times. Never gave us the trade in discount. Added a line to our account. Now we got charged for three lines when all we wanted to do is trade in my phone for better phone. He charged us regular price and we had to pay 66 in taxes and that wasn't even the right charge. This guy needs several more months of training before he's on the floor. What a mess our next month bill is. It went up 50 percent more than it was. read more

Unbelievable bad advice from store rep. I am not a phone techi, so went to them for help when my charging port quit working on my Galaxy 3. Girl there wasn't helpful at all. At the end of this experience, I purchased the same phone I had before. Again... I am not an expert on phones, so I was depending on her"expertise", but with this girl helping me, I lost most everything I had on my old phone. Irreplaceable pictures, downloads, etc. Her response when asked about this, was to say callously"go to Wal-Mart and get a $20 memory card" I was also told by this rep that I had to give up my old phone to buy this new one. When I spoke to a rep at Verizon, she said that I wasn't required to do so. BAD BAD BAD experience. If I could take away stars for their rating. ..I would. read more

We needed to activate a phone that was a holiday gift. Staff was super helpful activating and transferring all of our contacts and photos. Easily one of the top five spots in Tooele for service. Also noted that their pricing of inventory is cheaper than SLC stores. Glad to have a local shop that will bring us back. read more

It had been some time and I didn't really expect a lot. But I contacted the store and the Manager Jason said, "Bring your phone in and we'll get it taken care of." When I told him I live in Salt Lake, could I bring it tomorrow." He asked me where I was located and found me a location close to where I was. Said he'd contact the Manager at that store and I could go in there and have them fix the protector. I would have driven out to this location, but thanks to Jason I didn't have to, and was still able to have my phone back to as good as new. CSAs' were nice but I was told they didn't do credit checks and since I have poor credit they offered my a few phone within my price range but tried to catch me by telling me I didn't have to pay anything for the phone if I signed up that day and when they checked my credit (after saying they don't do that) they told me I had to put $500 down plus pay for the phone in full since they don't do payments on phones for people with bad credit. This is not just for this store. But for the business as a whole. If you are looking at these reviews to see if you should shop here I'll highly recommend you don't unless you have good credit. If not I'd recommend places that actually do not check credit. As a personal experience for businesses without credit checks that I've used: Verizon, Virgin Mobile, MetroPCS(use at your own discretion as their customer service is terrible and they charge you for everything).

If you're looking for an affordable refurbished phone I highly recommend Bad Apple. 90 warranty, aesthetically the phone has minimal smudges and if you order the tempered glass, $35, you get a free protective clear case with MagSafe. Capital City Antique Mall came up in my search (well there was another but they are closed on Tuesdays), and I was very pleased to find that they were in a large warehouse with plenty of vendors. That just means tons of cool stuff to scour through! And indeed there was plenty of artifacts and fun finds to take my time perusing! There were a few items that I wanted but couldn't purchase for the sake of space or other reasons, but they were absolutely beautiful. The photos I've shared below are only scratching the surface of the gamut of items that you can find at the antique mall. I ended up purchasing some small items to add to my shelf of collectibles at home, including my very first glass insulator. The staff are nice and everything is quite reasonably priced compared to CA antique stores. We will definitely be revisiting Capital City Antique Mall the next time we are in SLC!
