Bre and the Manager Ramon, did everything in their power to make me feel welcomed and took care of my needs as a consumer. Even though the sales representatives gave me a hard time over the phone, the them as a team made it their mission to make sure I left with the best service. I came into the Victra store off of Roy Roger's and was helped by an associate named John. I came in to upgrade our business phone to a iPhone 17 pro max, which was in stock until I called him on trying to scam me into buying a bundle.. Case, charger, and screen protector. He told me it was 100% required for me to purchase the phone. After I called Victra customer service, which verified IT IS NOT MANDATORY TO BUY THE BUNDLE.. The store no longer had the iPhone available for purchase and someone was coming to pick it up tomorrow. He tried to scam me and got his feelings hurt when I called the customer service line. Isn't a Verizon retailers purpose supposed to be selling phones? Don't waste your time going in, They are doing everything but, selling phones. You got kids walking around with iPads. I wouldn't recommend this location based off of my experience I had with them yesterday. I showed up and waited over an hour for an employee to attend me. I went in to pick up my new phone and when I finally got my phone she was rushing through everything that she threw out my insta Protek box and didn't give me paperwork for my phone. Now I can't register my instaProtek for my phone which I paid for. It was a disaster. She didn't break down how much I'd be paying month to month with my new phone included unlike other locations. When I looked over to the other employee she was breaking everything down on paper for the clients she was attending. I had attended one time previously and the general manager I believe had awesome customer service and answered all my questions. I went into the Victra Verizon store because the store in Hesperia was closed due to COVID 19. I bought an iPhone 11 and wireless charger for my wife. The associate was nice and helpful. The wireless charger would not charge the phone so I brought it back. The girl exchanged it for another charger if a different brand. That charger didn't work so I brought it back. Another girl was there with the one I had been dealing with Ashe kept barking at customers to stay behind the confusing lines, while having her mask well below her nose. They tried the charger again and it would not work. One said it worked sometimes. I explained that sometimes us not enough. The said maybe your phone is broken. They suggested I go through the manufacturer. Finally I just got a refund, went home and googled the problem. It was that the brand new phone needs an update for wireless charging. I ordered 2 chargers from Amazon for half the price for the 1 at Verizon. After the update the phone charged fine. I'm glad the associates were so unaware of their products and the one was so extremely rude because I knew I wouldn't go back and they saved me a lot of money. read more

I've been here twice and always enjoy the service. My most recent experience was with Jess. She really went above and beyond to help me get things worked out when I had to replace my phone. She was friendly and helpful, talked with me to pass time while we got my phone switched over. She tried to get the phone case I wanted from another Victra location. Unfortunately the other location wasn't responding. Either way I highly recommend this specific locatio because they let you take your time to look at devices and more importantly, they do not push you to buy more and more items. Side note: the Victra kiosk at the mall had the case I needed. The sales rep at the kiosk was extremely pushy trying to "get me a deal" which involved buying more things I wasn't interested in. She did get the case I wanted but I was bothered by how pushy she was when I made it clear I had been helped by Jess at the other location. This lady went as far as to say "oh they didn't help you out". She did end up getting the case I wanted but I felt it was unnecessary for her pushing on sales. read more

Be advised, the agents here will try to get over on you by not telling you the cost and coverages added to your bill. Two months after trading in my device as part of an upgrade, I'm realizing there was no trade in value added. I went back to speak to the manager and she said the trade in value of my phone was used as store credit to pay for taxes and miscellaneous accessories, although at the time, those accessories was presented to me as a bundle on behalf of Verizon for being a long standing customer. The agent then told me the trade in value would lower the monthly cost on my phone device payments. Which turned out to not be true. Not once at the time was it explained to me that my trade in amount would not be used toward what trade in values are used for, but to pay for the taxes and other things as store credit. So much for transparency. In all the years I've been with Verizon, I've never had a problem like this where it's clear the agents either don't know what they're doing, or know exactly what they're doing in trying to screw over the customer. read more

Her multitasking skills are on another level I was really surprised how she handle three customers at once. The girl more than earned whatever incentives they award employees. Walk in, theres an irate customer. Manager (i assume) finally walks out to the front about 5minutes later (after we arrived) to handle the situation by telling the customer "im not doing this, you are treating my employees like crap, we don't have to do business with you, you can go elsewhere..." i get it. its a little store but if a customers volume is loud that doesnt mean you as the employee or manager should get just as loud. have some courtesy for other customers and your other employees who are taking phone calls. Two, the associate ('Loe' w/2nose piercings) who was helping us or should I say not helping us could barely pay attention. We go in with a damaged phone (with insurance), which is still functional, camera, calls, text messages, etc. just a badly damaged screen. we told her that we have insurance on the phone but didnt bother to look up our account to see what kind of insurance coverage 'level'. she automatically says its going to cost us $199.00 and that the motherboard will need to be replaced not just the screen so that we'd be paying more to repair an old iphone 8 (it wasnt an iphone 8) my husband asked her "why would it need a new motherboard if its still working? it looks like it just needs a screen repair" then she hands the phone back and says "ok if thats what you want to do then you can just go do that then" then thats when she proceeded with "you can just go thru asurion and pay $29.00 but you have to set an appointment..." ok...we got the broken phone part situated but we had other questions about our phone plan that we wanted to ask...we're standing there (mind you still with irate customer in the store) explaining our question(s) and shes texting on her phone...we stood there for a few seconds just staring at her waiting for her to not be busy on her cell phone... when she finally looks up her excuse apology was "oh sorry a customer was texting me about a problem shes having with her phone" we continue with our questions only to leave feeling like her "helping" us was pointless...does verizon really allow their Associates to text assist customers with tech support WHILE helping customers?? This may just be an authorized verizon store but shouldnt they still be knowledgeable when it comes to their products? We basically had a 'sounding board' since the line she kept telling us was "well you never know unless you try" and in the end dealing with our situation on our own. read more

Absolutely the worst verizon store chain anyone can go to along with its sister company in Apple Valley. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced and it is such a shame that Verizon is allowing them to represent their company. Went in the store for a simple new phone and was upsold to get 2 new phones and a new line and accessory pack. The employee Lauren (LO) lied and said our new monthly bill would be a certain amount in which I agreed to. She said if I was to get the new line and the 2 new phones it would be cheaper than just purchasing 1 phone. I asked her several times how that was possible and she said it was because of my good standing account, being a loyal customer and blah blah blah. After being promised everything and price was agreed upon I walked out of there in still disbelief of how everything that I got was cheaper than just getting a new phone. I went home and checked my future bill and it stated a totally different number than what Lauren had promised. She didn't give me a paper to sign with the agreed price so there was no paper trail of it. I called Verizon the next day and they said that my bill was higher and will continue to be higher than what was promised by the employee Lauren. They advised me to go back to the nearest store and get a refund. We went to the Apple Valley sister store because it was closer and the Manager Jordan was not understanding and rude. He said he couldnt help us with returning everything without charging a restocking fee on one of the phones and that we needed to go back to the Victorville store. He also said the manager Jannina was a B**ch and that she wouldnt return anything either without charging a restocking fee. We immediately left and went to the victorville store (this one) and spoke to Jannina about the situation and how we were mislead about our bill. She immediately became defensive against her employees and didnt care to believe anything we said. There was no proof because her employee Lauren did not get our signature on a contract they are suppose to keep on hand. Long story short we were treated like garbage and she had no care or compassion about our situation. She did eventually return everything except the screen protectors that costs us $120. What a joke! The only reason why she returned it all was because she didn't want to deal with us anymore. She was hostile and made us feel as if everything was our fault. So disgusted how she treated us. There was also another couple who walked in right after us with the same exact complaint so that should tell you something right there! They are a fraud and even Verizon corporate said they get alot of complaints from this particular location. They are horrible sales people that know nothing about the actual Verizon accounts and billing and will tell you anything just to buy their phone. This is not a way to operate a business and Verizon should be ashamed that this company is giving them such a bad rep! The district Manager Grady who is in charge of both stores is the biggest scum of them all and has no concern for his customers in this horrible situation. I will make sure consumers stay clear of both of these locations as they are false advertising, upselling, and uneducated on real Verizon wireless accounts and billing. read more

Went in for a new phone due to mine being old, cracked, and Wifi not working. I have tons of pictures on my current phone and wasn't able to save them so I wanted to keep it and not trade it in. CYNTHIA AGUILAR was lacking knowledge and had the worst customer service. She kept making up numbers and kept trying to add things for me to purchase. Long story short (& I'm being modest) after going back and fourth several times, she was pretty much just trying to get me to trade in my phone and to get me buy the newest one. I wanted the iPhone 12 (which is obviously not the latest one) and was all of sudden having problems with setting up my phone line. After waiting an hour and a half I was told it was going to be a while because she didn't know what the problem was and had to call. I had to leave due to it getting late and my kids waiting in the car and was told I was going to get a call afterwards to tell me what the problem was. I never received a call or an update. I walked out with no phone and no solution. I've been a customer for over 5 years and have never had a bad experience with Verizon. Such a waste of time. Never going there again!! read more

Terrible service- sat there for twenty minutes waiting to pay my bill and not a single person helped me or even said anything which included the store manager walking past me. I was trading phones with a friend and we were swapping SIM cards while waiting to pay our bill and we were told to take our business outside... what? They first wouldn't even acknowledge my presence when trying to pay a bill and then had an issue with me switching out a SIM card? I wanted to make sure it worked and ask them to check the phone... My friend asked to speak to a manager and it was the manager that was rude. My friend said that his tone with us wasn't professional and he said so in a calm manner and we were then thrown out of the store. Extremely unprofessional and it was embarrassing being thrown out with my toddler after waiting so long for no service Not a corporate store. This location has been, by far, the worst location regarding guest satisfaction. I have been a loyal Verizon customer for over half a decade and this franchise not only made me feel insulted but the necessity to bring it up to corporate. I walked in there asked to please charge my iPhone, and they denied me the request. Their response was that they didn't want to be liable for any electronic mishaps. To me that's just not believable reason. I've got it done at the Corporate store on Main Street. I needed my phone charged because I wanted to buy water at any local Apple Pay accepted store. I had just finished my intense workout regimen and decided to jog home. Not knowing that it would be Uber hot. I seriously got home and had to be rushed to the E.R. Do to my dehydration state. I asked that they bill a portable charger to my account, since I left my wallet at home as well, and they also denied me that. They have no knowledge, they are misleading, and they fail to disclose how they use your information. They gave me the run around passed the blame to management. They say there's no where to complain. I asked for a customer service number or to speak to a manager and they said "no, this is just policy."They are discriminatory and accusatory. They claimed my charge card was a "prepaid" card and refused my payment. My card was NOT prepaid... I offered to show proof and still I was humiliated and referred to a corporate store. They were secretive and avoided discussing my account in my presence, but expected me to be okay with them taking my card to a back room along with my drivers license.The employee Janet or Janice finally admitted there had been a privacy breach to the account but couldn't answer any questions. "I don't know"is unacceptable! This account had no issues until my initial visit to this retailer, and NOW there is a privacy breach AND the woman that assisted "is no longer with the company"?? This is an unethical and discriminatory place of business. Please DO NOT place your trust in such a place. I hope this review raises some awareness for consumers. read more

Thanks to Stephanie, assistant manager at Verizon, she was very happy, knowledgeable and professional and helped me enjoy the experience of buying a new Samsung phone. Will not be returning to this location to purchase and phones or accessories. I went in to purchase a device and was told that it was on an unlimited data plan come to find out that it was not and they did not offer the unlimited plan for the device I had. I went in within the 14 day return period granted they did not charge me the restocking fee because they knew the device was bought under false pretenses. About 2 weeks later I got a bill in the mail for overage charged over $200 mind you. I call Verizon and they stated that I need to go back to the store where it was purchased from and they need to credit the account so I did. I was told my the store manager that it would be taken care of so I thought perfect problem solved. A month passed and I got another that needed to be paid. So I called the store and let them know the situation. I once again spoke to the Store Manager and he stated not a problem he would take of it. I let a few days pass and I called Verizon and they stated that it had not been taken care of. So I drove to the store with the bill in hand and immediately the manager knew what I was in the store for. He then stood where he was at and told another employee to make a copy of bill and write down the account pin which I did. Not once did he get up and try to have some urgency to get this matter resolved. Another month passed and I get yet another past due bill. Mind you this is now going on 3 months and I am still dealing with the issue. The only time you have someone's full divided attention is when you need to buy something. The store is more worried about their sells then a a good customer service relationship. Again I will no longer be going to this location and will refer anyone or recommend anyone going there. read more
