This Verizon location has been around as long as I can remember (the one at Jess Ranch on Bear Valley Rd being my other go to before it closed). I've gone in the activate, upgrade and purchase new phones in the past fifteen years and it's always been nothing but smooth. Parking is easy and never full in a huge shared plaza lot with Us Bank, Vons, Ross, Petco, Pizza Hut, Del Taco, Gator's (2), and much more. Customer service is prompt and friendly and even though I'm not a local anymore - whenever I'm in town and in need of some assistances this is the first Vz store I go to. Currently a Samsung Galaxy Ultra 23 users, not quite ready for an upgrade but inquiring for the future. Plenty of people to answer questions or offer assistances. Accessories can be a little steep compared to deals you can find online, however they are convenient and discounts arised, especially around the holidays. I will note that I'm not an iPhone user by any means so I can't speak to any issues with the 15 or even 16 or issues with Trade-in/upgrade to those devices. read more

I am writing to leave a review about my experience with the representative Lamar at this location. I have never felt more misled or pressured by a sales representative. It was clear he was focused on making a sale rather than being honest and helpful. After purchasing three Apple products from this store (a phone, iPad, and watch), he earned his commission, but several things he told me turned out to be false. He promised to waive activation fees and gave inaccurate information about my bill, but those promises were not kept. From the beginning, the staff openly talked about meeting monthly quotas and treated sales like a game, which felt very inappropriate and unprofessional. He told me he would be going on his lunch break when I came back and said he would greet me afterward, but instead he completely disregarded me when I returned. When he did help me, he was visibly upset about missing his lunch break and told me I was basically taking up his time because he had not eaten. This was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. Additionally, he added an extra line/service to my account that we never discussed or agreed to. I was not aware of this until I saw my bill and had to call to have it removed. Since then, I have returned to the store three times to speak with him and was brushed off each time. On another visit, I was also spoken to rudely by a different representative. I tried contacting Lamar through his work phone, but he continued to delay and give misleading responses. I do not recommend this location. If you find yourself in a similar situation, I strongly suggest contacting Verizon corporate customer service directly--they were the only ones who helped resolve my issue. Only came to this location because it's a corporate store. Denice was somewhat helpful. We needed to upgrade our phones. We didn't want the latest and greatest with all the fancy bells and whistles, but the only way for us to get a trade-in value was to choose the iPhone 16. Otherwise, we'd be paying for the full cost of the phones with no trade-in value. One phone was in stock; the other phone we had to order and have it shipped to us. We told her we didn't want the in stock phone to be activated until we bought a case for it. My husband works outside and didn't want to risk something happening to the phone. Within 2 days, his old phone (which we still had because nothing had been transferred over) no longer worked. His brand new phone had been activated - and it was still in the unopened box. Called customer service and after over an hour, they were no help, because they said if they did "anything" to our account, we would owe $830 on our next bill, even though we were trading in both phones. To say we were annoyed is a gross understatement. We agreed on the phones to purchase. Apparently Denice didn't tell us about some other promotion we could get that would cut our bill down by $40 a month IF we had automatic billing. She brought a manager (we are assuming) to give us the pitch. Told him we didn't want any automatic billing - he pressed us saying that it would save us money. I told him I understood - but didn't want automatic billing. Guessing they get a spiff for auto biling?? When Denice was setting up the contracts, she very quickly scrolled through all of the pages, tapped boxes here and there and simply told us where to initial. She never mentioned a $35 per phone activation fee - she said we were just "paying the tax on the phones". Well we were + the $35 activation fee. Another annoyance. While in the store, we noticed several employees just standing around or sitting at their counters, scrolling on their phones. Employees are really just standing around and getting paid for it? Fast forward to a week later. Returned to the store to return both phones as trade-ins. A different girl "helped" us this time. One phone they would take back; the other phone no - she flipped the phone back to me with "I can't take this one, you'll have to mail it back." The manner in which she responded is very unprofessional and offensive. It's not WHAT you say, but HOW you say it. I had a few more questions about the phones, plans, etc. She wasn't interested in helping - apparently I was bothering her with questions. She kept trying to walk away while I was trying to ask questions. When we walked in the store, no one ever moves, they simply raise their head to look at you. Customer service is seriously lacking at this location. Again, plenty of staff but all busy scrolling and glued to their phones. When you see this situation, it usually starts from the top - and that is the manager who not only supervises this bunch of employees, but who probably hired them too. Zero accountability; zero customer service and zero friendliness or helpfulness. They all need to be properly trained in customer service. Visit another Verizon location to avoid this nonsense. Today, I went to this Verizon Store in Victorville next to the Von's due to it being a Corporate location. My voicemail stopped working for no reason and the Verizon Customer Service had no clue how to fix my issue. However, Veronica and Josie from this location were so kind to help me. Both were very professional and courteous along with caring about their customers. They did some troubleshooting on my phone and figured out the issue. They also guided me to a level 2 verizon phone tech. My phones voicemail has been fixed and thank you to Veronica and Josie for a job well done. He was very eager to assist me even though he had only a few minute left before clocking out. It wasn't long before I was walking back out with my problem resolved. As soon as I walk in I ask the front desk representers of this company, the face of the company to help me transfer my old phone info to new phone since my old phone was frozen and Verizon sent me a new phone, and they blankly rudely ejaculated it's gonna be $30.00. And noticed the two at the front let her know in Spanish to charge me $30.00 for the eSIM. Terrible experience. They quote you prices and when you get the bill it's not the same. Took 2 hours to resolve with customer service yesterday to remedy and correct the sales persons mistakes. Do not believe when they tell you prices and this and that is free. I can't tell if training is inadequate or the sales persons are driven to close sales are cost of the consumers- both are problematic for the consumer. Stay away from Anthony and Jeff! Do yourself a favor and do not even step foot into this location. I have been a customer with Verizon for 15 years. Never have I ever had an experience or issues like here. If I could give this place negative stars I would, came in to do a phone exchange on a order I placed from corporate. Anthony (the manager) wanted to turn me away. Josie, whom was the most helpful, (I have no complaints about her, thankful for her customer service) really emphasized what I was trying to tell Anthony, which was that I made the order from corporate and not the Victra Verizon store. They said I would have to wait 30 minutes to get the device, after a longer time waiting, Jeff took over the transaction. He was going over some details and when I asked for help with my account and device price adjustments he said "we don't do that here". So anyone reading knows, they had to return and then process a new order to make an exchange (so they said). Something Jeff said made it seem as if he was more concerned pushing the sale for his commission, after he wasn't helpful with his customer service I asked to speak to someone else. He disappeared into the back room for 10 minutes and said no one else is available. (Which was a lie because there were other employees standing around). At this point I just wanted to process the return, get my receipt for it and leave if they couldn't help me. That's all I wanted. I go and knock the back room door and Anthony comes out saying he's on lunch, I tell him sorry for interrupting and that he didn't have to talk to me while on lunch. Instead of getting another employee he just continued to talk to me, as I expressed my concerns of the run around situation Verizon has been giving me. He made it about himself trying to get the commission from the device I was about to buy instead of passing me off to someone else who was available and on the clock. During the conversation with Anthony he tried to rob me of my 1st amendment rights and silence me several times during our conversation. I also asked to talk to someone else, I just wanted my receipt of return so I could leave and got insulted by Anthony and Jeff. Me not wanting any problems even apologized to them for the inconvenience and I thanked them for listening to my frustrations that Verizon was giving me. Even after the fact, Anthony proceeds to calling me difficult and threatening not to give me my receipt. After this experience I decided I was done with Verizon, but it was a leadership team member who convinced me to stay with Verizon. I would recommend the Verizon store in upland, off campus near the Albertsons, it's a drive but they treat you right there. Thanks for reading this review. Closed at 6:25pm and refused to help my wife and I after messing up their initial service. We had gone in 2 hours earlier to purchase a new phone and transfer a number to our Verizon account. This resulted in us owning a phone that had no service plan, with no changes being made to our account. I understand not servicing customers after a certain point, but refusing customers that had been helped incorrectly is a little sub par, imo. There are far better stores in the tri-city area. Terrible customer service. I recently switched to T-Mobile from Verizon due to the service I received at this location. When I paid my phone off I simply asked for a receipt. 564 dollar payment. And they said they can't do it. From going from calling customer service and going in store several times I never got the help needed. My last visit I asked for some type of advanced help. The lady rudely responds and says " I am all you got I am the general manager". The incompetence of this manager was mind blowing. She then was rude and said we are going in circles and raised her voice at me. And just to clarify I remained calm the entire time. I put a one star but doesn't deserve any star. This review is more for Verizon Wireless, not any particular location. Here is an example of the outstanding customer service. I contacted them about billing and talked with "Jesse" about excessive fees. After 30-40 minutes, here is response in writing " Good news! My supervisor approved to cover the $60 charge on your account as a one time courtesy. I already forwarded your account to my supervisor and you will see the credit within 20-30 minutes." 2 weeks later, no credit. I contact again but this time I get "Charlie ". I explain what was promised and they say they will look at the transcript. Apparently takes 10-15 min to read through a transcript. Charlie finally responds "As I've checked, I see the that there's notes regarding the credit that the supervisor approved." I ask if I will see the credit today? Charlie's response " Nothing to worry. I will work my hardest to help with the credit. " Several minutes later, " As I worked my hardest, I was able to get an approval of a $30 credit." I ask what happened to the $60. The response was " I totally understand that you were promised to be credited $60 but I feel the $30 will help you. I worked my hardest to grant you that." Really?? Jose was the absolute worst and wanted in no way to help us after my card was ran and they received their money. After the sale of my phone I had questions which he quickly stated they only sale phones. So your going to offer products and not even assist people with their questions. I was instructed to figure it out in my own, which lead to over 4,000 pictures being permanently deleted. Wow being a Verizon customer for 21 years means nothing. I watched the manager hand an elderly woman a phone number and sent her on her way as well because "there are no technicians in this store!" They sound like idiots telling customers this. Don't ever go here. The worst experience will be expected. First I took my mom with me. Wanted to upgrade my phone then give her my phone to her. It was 7pm and no one in store, but the wait was two hours, my mom is too bad of shape to wait that long. I told them that and they said to come in tomorrow. They have no service for handicap. So I came in next day without mom. I told them what I want. They want to charge me $30 more a month to give my mom my iPhone. I asked Spanish guy John and he said that was only plan available. I just needed what they sold me to function correctly. Had a order for sim card sent over i asked representative eight times if would be certain area code and was assured it would be. When i got to store i asked representative its supposed be a certain area code and they never gave me the number. He comes out hands me sim card with two papers and asked what the number was he says two and some other numbers and walks away without helping me finish. I spent 20 minutes getting phone activated then it has wrong area code and was unable change on app. I go back the man who said he was manager asked what happened and i told him i asked almost 10 times why isnt it correct. He said he can change number for $15 when he gave me wrong card and phone number..i asked him for manager he said he was and became extremely rude and just wanted charge me $15 for his mistake!
