I worked for at&t for 2 years. So I understand the ins and outs of a proper store vs a…read moredysfunctional store. This is a dysfunctional store for sure. I've been told incorrect promotions. Give zero customer service. In fact the employees have been rude and shown that they can care less. They dont offer proper promotions or discounts but rather will try to upsell you on things you don't need. Overheard an employee giving a customer an older phone she didn't need. She could have gotten a new phone and traded her phone in. The new employee didn't bother to check with his manager if this was the best deal they could give(giving the manager a chance to look over the transaction). I chimed in letting the employee know he can give a better deal that would help both the customer and at&t, however I was told to back off by the employee. I've also called in asking about a promotion and was told they aren't able to discuss it over the phone due to policy. Incorrect. I called another store and they helped me and walked me through any and all promotions. I would recommend to stay away from this location as it is an authorized retailer and not a corporate location. I don't mind driving and extra 10 miles just to find a proper location with proper staff.

I can't say enough about how safe I felt in the store, the AT&T masks looked amazing (for a mask that is!) Kyle made this usually awful experience nice and easy, he had me all set up before I left. I was very conscious of the time because the store was closing in 15min, but Kyle kept assuring that it was okay. I can't say enough about him, and how clean the store was. Following this, we returned to this shop about 15 times in the span of like 2 months because it had non stop issues. When we came in the first time, we asked for my phone to be completely fixed, yet were forced to come back because first, the charging port wasn't working. They tried to charge us $75 for a cheap charging port but eventually just agreed on $15. Next thing you know, they had to put 4 different ports in my phone on 4 separate occasions because my mic didn't work and I couldn't charge my phone. EVERY NEW PORT they put in my phone was just worse than the one I came to fix. however, i was willing to accept it bc they just kept gaslighting me and i was tired of wasting my time coming back. However my phone, after like another week(so now currently) is barely usable and completely blacks out and won't even turn on. me and my mom asked for a refund, and instead of a refund they said they would give us a "brand new" iphone 11 which was actually a scratched up refurbished phone, so we said no. we asked for our $195 after all the wasted time, gas, and headache just for my phone to immediately break down after they "fixed it" Btw Hamzah, the guy whose the manager, he said to me "we always warn out customers with water damage that issues can come up no matter if we fix it" WHICH ME AND MOM WERE NEVER EVEN WARNED OF, LIKE WHAT? so your warning us after we paid and came here a million times? On top of that he's like "well that's why you shouldn't dunk your phone in water" first of all, it fell in water, second of all, it shouldn't matter to you if i found this phone washing up the shore of the atlantic ocean u told me you can fix water damage so do your job. they only gave us $115 back, because they said the parts in my phone make up the rest of the cost. its a huge scam because you're basically charging me for parts i would have never paid for if i knew my phone wouldn't even be fixed.

So, they returned it to me and the same day it cut off and never came back on.......I also had to make a second trip because they removed my stand and forgot to put it back on.....Weeks later, I simply purchased a new PS5 but keep the old one. Did some research and found that it might be experiencing a power supply issue. I ordered a new power supply and installed it........Fixed. This is a service they offer but when I mentioned it, they said it would cost additional money to be shipped out and had no timetable on when it would be completed. I fixed it in 30 minutes....The only positive, they were very polite...I just wish they were as knowledgeable as they were polite.

I walked in to process a warranty claim through Asurion, and was met by an employee named Paul, who was clearly frustrated, unprofessional, and openly using profanity in front of customers. On top of that, he had no idea how to process the warranty claim and had to call Asurion for guidance. After wasting over an hour of my time, Paul encountered an error on the computer, abruptly told me he was off the clock, and just closed everything down -- then told me to deal with the other employees. Completely unacceptable behavior. Even worse, while I was still on the phone with Asurion, no other staff came out for a while. Eventually two employees came out and managed to finish the process -- but by then, the damage was done. This was a textbook example of poor customer service, a lack of professionalism, and completely unacceptable conduct by an employee. I don't typically write reviews like this, but the way this was handled -- especially the language used in public and the careless handoff mid-process -- was shocking. This needs to be addressed by management immediately.

The commitment showed by the staff to treat their guests well goes far beyond most typical retail locations. I visit often and feel so valued as a customer. Having been in the industry for so long, most in multi store management, I observe different aspects of the experience when I'm personally shopping stores. And at Micro Center Westmont, I observe a clean, well-organized store with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable team members who have a genuine interest in ensuring their guests are treated well. Far too many positive personal examples from my many visits to share, but the consistency is truly admirable. Now do they occasionally make a mistake or does something not go as planned? Of course! If it didn't they wouldn't be human beings as we all make mistakes, right? But I am so impressed with how hard the team works to correct those issues, big or small. The prices are fair, the price matching policy is very good and the return policies are exceptional. Micro Center is ALWAYS my first choice for tech and it's due mainly to the dedicated staff at the store who go above and beyond. So I start looking around for someone to help me. 5 min passed and not one employee was available to help. Not one. So I decided I'll go find the splitters in the meantime, found one that I needed but other one was evading me. This time I go around the store looking for someone to help me out. Finally gave up and asked an employee to help me out after they finished with their current customer. The kid wasnt even looking in my direction just nodded his head. I had every single item i needed in my Amazon cart, but I still chose to drive here to give them my business. A few minutes of waiting, I just put back whatever I picked up and left. Ordered it on Amazon instead right there in the store. Employees here don't want to help, you can walk miles in that store before anyone will even bat an eye. I don't recommend this place at all. Far from what it used to be.
