This was a short visit to pick up an accessory. I specifically came for a screen protector, which they had here. The price was a little higher than a screen protector probably has any right to be, but it is what it is. I can't remember the name of the gentleman who helped me, but he was friendly and put the protector on for me (which I surely would've messed up). Whatever you do, do not go to this store. The employee messed up two of our brand new phones. Added a second line to each without my permission and the guys even signed the contract. I did not. Went back the next day because either of our main lines were working. Fixed that and when I questioned the second lines I was told it was a promo and it was free. Get my bill and was charged $50 for the line set up. Then was told that I would be charged $15 per month if each line. Was on the phone with Verizon for almost 2 hours trying to resolve it. Bottom line, stay clear of that store!!! They scam you!!! And only put one star because I have to put a rating. read more

I especially want to note Josh Smith a new Verizone professional who is welcoming, professional and especially sincere is working with customers. He is a positive asset to Verizon. I would like to start off by warning everyone not to come to this business for any of their phone needs/issues. The manager is passive aggressive, rude, and as a result of his leading by example- so is his team working at the store. They speak negatively about customers in Arabic, not realizing who else in the room speaks or understands the language. They should save that type of behavior for their private coffee breaks. Issa Hawatmeh -The Manager had told me he has a sister that is a supervisor for Verizon. I initially inquired about business phone services but ended up upgrading my phone to the new iPhone 14 pro which cost $1200.00. This is where the challenge began. He had an extremely hard time transferring my phone contacts and data. I found this to be strange since this is a standard functionality of his job and the phone business. There was another employee named Andrew that tried to help him. Andrew saw that my phone wasn't backed up in some time and said he was backing up the phone before transferring the data. Long story short, they were unable to transfer the informationand told me to take the phone home until the phone was transferred successfully, and then drop the old phone back off. I sent it back when I thought all the info was transferred. I lost three years of photos. I was already aggravated at that point and then thought to myself, hey self lol, that was my fault too. At the same time, did not fathom or imagine that the phone experts could make such a mistake like this. They also failed to express any remorse or apologies for this. A few days later, I noticed that my texts weren't going through and this is a business line that impacts my life in a big way. I went back twice, and they had me on the phone with it for hours before the phone started working. Today the phone just went black. I went to the store, and spoke to Hector Rodiguez, who put me on the phone with ISSA. Issa said he would only help me if I stopped giving him attitude. I told him I had been there 4 times already, and I had lost three years of data on top of it all. I am aggravated, my clients can't reach me. He asked me if i had placed the phone near steam, if I sat on it, if I dropped it in water. I told him that I was very sure they could tell if there was water damage. This man was clearly trying to gaslight me and was in no way going to try to take any accountabilty. It was unprofessional, manipulative, and upsetting to be treated this way to say the least. He then told me I had to go to apple and remove the find my phone app before he could replace it. After I was done with apple, I went back to the store and Hector made me wait an hour before he tried to call Issa. they had clearly spoken and this was done deliberately. When I questioned him again he called Issa and Issa said he will call back in a few minutes. That never happened. I plan on returning this phone, getting my money back, contacting Verizon headquarters, and the Attorney General's office to file a formal complaint. They took my money, lost all my data and photos, sold me a phone that doesnt even work and they have refused to rectify the situation. They should be ashamed of themselves, especially the Manager who didnt like attitude as a result of his poor business practices and poor customer service. I needed to go in here to get another Fios cable box, I tried to go in one day and the store was so crowded and it seemed like no one knew what was going on and there was no order. I went back the next day and arrived at the store about 15 minutes before they opened and took care of what I needed to and a nice gentleman helped me. I just left your location. There are 3 employees on duty and a 4th departing. No one had their computers up and running. As i was waiting for someone to decide to log in, there was hanging out and banter happening. I asked would it be awhile because i had business calls to make and was told that the technician just go to work and needed to log in, meanwhile all of his other colleagues were hanging up against the wall and texting and said oh well you're working with him. Go to an actual Verizon store and not this authorized dealer. I purchased a lemon less than three weeks ago, and this dealer wouldn't give me a new phone. They are unprofessional and don't know what they are doing. I have had a business account for over 20 years, and today, I switched my service to another carrier. Once I purchased the 14 pro plus from this location, Verizon's customer service couldn't help because I didn't buy the phone through Verizon. Please remember that this is an authorized dealer. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Nasty employee, didn't stop pitching bundles, and my experience was HORRIBLE! It took forever to get my name onto my husbands account. When I purchased my phone, activation was taking over 5 hours to do. I wanted to return it and was told I was going to pay a $50 restocking fee (like that actually happened). A gentleman that came in around the same time as me also did not have his phone activated. He also returned his smart phone and was given an attitude. With a same day return my return still has not shown up.... It's almost been a week. Just go to a regular Verizon Store and you will save $50+. Ive been to this Verizon store on two occasions to return fios equipment and on both occasions found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I'm actually very happy to have this store location close by in Ridgehil. I went in today to return a router for my account that was already canceled, Gerald, asked me for which account is the router for and if it was canceled. I told him the name of the account, he tells me that I will receive a confirmation email for my returned router. After I left, received the email, he canceled my fathers account that was open that week. I called the store letting him know he canceled my father account and he said thats the reason why he asked for who's account... I then asked about my router if it was returned under my account and he said that the serial number will return to the account holder but I do not understand why he canceled my fathers account and told me to call customer service which also did not help at all. read more

My experience with this store was totally unsatisfactory. Before pre-ordering my new iPhone-5s, I was told by the store rep that I could trade in my iPhone 4S against the purchase price of the new 5s iphone. When I arrived two weeks later to pick up the new phone and after they deactivated my old phone, they would only give me trade-in credit against other items in their store. When I brought the initial offer to their attention, they claimed that I misunderstood what they meant by applying the trade-in credit against the purchase price of the new phone. These folks are unprofessional and I will never use any of these stores in the future. They are masters at bait and switch. read more

I have read previous reviews that have been posted and I have to say my experience was competely different. I was recently at the Verizon Wireless store (Ridge Hill) to purhcase a new phone. The service, choice of product, and activcation/ set-up were seemless. My rep (Virgil) was patient, courteous and knowledgable of the products and serivces. Not too shabby, the atmosphere in the store is great! It's clean new and fresh looking! I was greeted as soon as I walked in and well taken care of the rest of my time there. The representative was very knowledgable and directed me to the perfect phone for me and even gave me lessons on how to use my brand new smartphone! He even offered me 1on1 lessons in the future if I want. I definitely know where I'll be going next upgrade and I'm definitely telling friends and family about the location too. Manager is very friendly and talks a good line but BEWARE! Get every promise in writing. I was told that there was a special promotion and I would receive a "free tablet". I would have to pay $200 for it upfront but would receive a $100 credit on my Verizon bill and a $100 rebate. He made a mistake in marking the rebate form so hopefully I will eventually receive that, but haven't yet. When I went in there today to ask why I haven't received the credit on my bill, he said he never said that. He said that I would get a $100 credit via email towards my next phone. When I received the email, even that turned out not to be true. It is $50 towards a phone purchased at his store or a similar store in White Plains and $50 towards a phone purchased online, so it is for 2 different phones. This is NOT a corporate Verizon store so Verizon does not stand behind anything that takes place here. I will not be able to use the $50 at a true Verizon store. CAVEAT EMPTOR. read more

I was actually on my way to the APPLE store to get help with my iPhone. I just happen to pass by GoWireless so I figures I would go in and see what they have to say. I was already at 2 Verizon stores and they were no help whatsoever. Not one told me what was wrong - just go to APPLE. hmmm Abiel (the assistant manager) met with me and within 5 minutes told me and showed me what was wrong with my phone. I purchased the iPhone6 and he walked me through apps I didn't know and he even came out to my car and 'paired' it with Bluetooth. This has been the quickest most easiest place for me to get an upgrade . As soon as I arrived I was acknowledged and greeted right away. The workers there were very specific and honest as possible . I honestly will be coming back here and i highly recommend this place for those of you who want a quick , positive and great experience. Usually when I go to the big verizon stores I have to wait and the people can be very nasty. Steven and Theodore both helped me set up my phone and assured I had my contacts transferred. This place is horrible! The store manager Virgil is a con artist. He verbally explained that I was going to get the iPhone 6 for $200 that day and receive a rebate for the amount, making it free! But when I reviewed my bill it revealed that I am actually paying an extra $60 a month for this phone for a 2 year period, basically paying full price. When I returned to get it fixed he acted as though it was my fault. He did not care that he didn't explain it well when he was selling it to me. He spoke over me and did not allow me to talk. Not helpful at all!! I contacted the district manager and received no response. These people are in the business of selling you something at one price with a hidden cost! Do not go there! I'm not the first one to experience this horrible customer service!! They are not even a real Verizon store. They should not be allowed to change customer contracts and plans. I would have given this company no stars if that was an option! Virgil, the store manager, is a liar and a thief! He told me I would spend 200 to 250 in the store that day, get new phones for my elderly parents and a slightly better phone for myself, that my bill each month would be $124, and it would take him 1 hour to make all changes. After 3 hours, the bill was 400. I was not prepared to spend that much and it took another 45 minutes to fix it and remove extras to get it down to our agreed price range. we went over my plan in writing which stated my monthly bill would be 124. Now I get my bill and it's 198. There are 3 payment plans for the phones totaling over 1000! This was not what I was told in the store and not what I agreed to. Now I've spent another 6 hours over the past week trying to fix this and no one can help. Just keep getting shuffled from store to store and supervisor to supervisor on the phone. And now they are trying to tell me that the 14 day return policy is passed! How convenient for Virgil! Everyone else I have spoken to at Verizon, and my lawyer, believe that this was a scam because NO WHERE in my paperwork that I got at the time of sale does it say anything about a phone payment plan. Verizon filed a formal complaint against the store for unethical practices. I have filed a better business bureau complaint. My next step is legal action if this isn't resolved within the next few days. This was the worst customer service ever and I recommend that you save yourself and never ever deal with this store. According to Verizon, they could lose their license to sell their products if they get another similar complaint! Go to a corporate Verizon store! Do not deal with this store.
