If I could put zero I would... the customer service from three of the workers today was absolutely unacceptable just for coming in to pay the final bill to switch to T-Mobile... he immediately said T-Mobile didn't cut it? And we answered with oh they did just here to pay final bill and he scoffed so I called him on it because that's ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. Crazy terrible customer service for a PAYING customer at that. I haven't even gotten there yet to pick up my new phone and they are irritating me. You can't call the store, you will be transferred to a rep in God knows where who will ask 20 questions before you can even simply ask if the store is open. The value is awful no matter what. We are forced into this technology and then have to pay in the end. I could have bought a house with all the money I've spent on phones over the years. Everyone knows how important cellphones are now days and they have became a big part of everybody's life. When I realized my iPhone SIM card went bad on my phone I didn't realize I had no cellular service for 18 hours, my phone worked on WiFi but no cell service. I looked up the nearest Verizon store near me my location and found this particular Yucca Valley store, I was greeted immediately and only waited about 10 minutes. Jose was great and friendly, I told him my issue and had it resolved within minutes. Thanks again for the excellent customer service. read more

This Go Wireless Verizon dealer is a joke. They won't sell you an iPhone unless you buy accessories. They claim that all their iPhones in stock are bundled with a case, adapter and screen protector and if you don't want that then they can only order the phone for you online. Never going there again. Better off going to a corporate store or a big box retailer like Best Buy. read more

I went to this store today to ask a questions about the international plan, basically I read online that Verizon charges 10 dollars a DAY for international plan so I went to confirm this. When I went in I spoke to a representative who I'm sure will know who this is if he sees this and I asked him about it and he basically told me that if I switched my plan to unlimited ultimate I would pay the same that I pay now with the get more unlimited plan and keep all my perks so nothing really changes aside from me not having to pay 10 dollars a day for international usage so I said awesome and made the switch to unlimited ultimate. While I was there I emphasize how sometimes the reps get things wrong and he ensured me that everything he said was true cause it was in black and white so I said "okay" when I left I realized that my perks were gone from the unlimited get more plan and I had to switch back to keep my perks I had before; however I am being charged for having the unlimited ultimate plan for only 1 hour. Point of this review is do not trust this stores employee as clearly they don't know what they're saying at least the person I spoke to cause it cost me money for a plan I had for an hour and could have been avoided if he just was honest and knew what he was talking about. read more

I'll caveat this review by stating that I have only been in this store twice, but my biggest two problems with this store is that they railroad you into purchasing accessories you don't want, and the lack of subject knowledge from their employees. Starting with my first issue, I went into the store yesterday since the iPhone 8 just launched. I have a pending order for an iPhone 8 Plus online already, but I figured I would go into the store to see if they got any in, and if they did, I would just pick one up and cancel my order. Needless to say, they only had one available, but it wasn't in the configuration that I wanted. Getting to the point, in order for me to get this phone, I had to purchase their $80 screen protector plan or whatever because they said it was reserved for those customers; can we talk about how BS it is that you are railroaded into purchasing this? My fiancé last year was also forced to purchase accessories in order for her to pick up her iPhone 7 there as well. What the hell? My second and last issue with the company is the lack of knowledge that their employees have. Now, I will not mention any names because I believe it to be a lack of training, nothing personal against them. Anyway, I have two stories -- the first one was when Verizon unveiled their new changes to their Unlimited Data Plan where they would lower the quality of all videos streamed on data depending on what plan you had. Well, when I talked to one of the employees asking some additional information regarding this, they had no idea that they even implemented these changes. Now, in their defense, it was still really new, and I know that they're a third-party, but still, I shouldn't know more than them. My second story links up to what I mentioned before about going in for the iPhone 8. For one, when I asked for the 256GB model, they told me they didn't make them in that configuration, and that it was just 64 and 128GB. Secondly and lastly, they asked if I just had the iPhone 7 or the 7S to trade in; 7S, really? Anyway, this store is not the place you want to go to when buying a new device or looking for information regarding something. I'd only go here to activate a new phone or to change a plan that you already have information on. read more

We went in to buy two new phones. Omar helped us. He TRULY did! This guy went the extra mile explaining everything to us. He was knowledgeable about the inventory. He took his time and guided us through this whole process. He helped us understand what we were buying and signed us up for a plan that suited our needs. Not only was he helpful, he was personable and shared with us as our phones were transferring/updating. We felt as if we known him for years as he made us feel that comfortable. I highly recommend; ask for him. It was the best phone buying experience ever. We will continue to stay with Verizon. Actually, the whole staff was kind, considerate and fun. Two thumbs up! Once again Verizon pulls through. My phone was out and could not make any calls but Amir tried on two separate days and finally got my phone working. When they are busy their attentive to customers walking in while continuing with those that already have their attention - - which is actually a plus if you're the one coming in... Today I had questions about settings on my Samsung S9 and wanted to do a little bit more research on the new iphones and there wasn't a single question Robert couldn't answer... or a setting he couldn't fix .... Especially during picture taking season - - holidays - - and needing to communicate a lot by text - - All this was much appreciated ...which means ... I've been in here quite a few hundred times being that I've been a Verizon customer for over a decade and before they changed their general store manager I can honestly say every single visit was a horrific one.. I was fed dishonesty from multiple employees and they were always rude with a horrible wait time.. I had paid for lifetime warranty on a couple different accessories and when I would come in to replace them they wouldn't let me... the list goes on and on however ever since Daniel started working there and looks like took over every single visit has been super fast and efficient with a smile and he has fixed any complaint or problem that has arrises with AMAZING customer service!!! I am very dissapointed with these people. I went in to get a phone and switch to Verizon from At&T and they didn't bother to tell me that they're a completely separate entity. Kinda seems like a scam to me. Whatever. Do you want to know what I'm REALLY pissed about?!?!?!?!?! THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THESE VAMPIRES!!!!! I bought a Galaxy S5 from them and they informed me I could return it in 14 days. During the first 72 hours of phone activation I only recieved HALF of the text messages that I was supposed to. I was missing extremely important business calls and text messages pertaining to work. Not to mention my apps are also not working properly and the battery drains much quicker than an S5 should drain. So I go in as soon as I can (which is about 7 days after my first time going in) and I tell them the problem and that I want to return the phone. They seemed to be very helpful at first and I was glad it was being handled. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!! About 45 minutes into my visit there, I get through all the paperwork and phonecalls I need in order to switch back to my old number. He had already taken the phone out of the otterbox and inspected it and said I could return it way earlier. So he takes it to the back and says he has to call his boss. He comes back and says I can't return it! My jaw hit the floor and I about lost it. He claimed there were three scratches on the front of the phone. However I recieved the phone in the beginning is EXACTLY how I was returning it. He said he's sorry and leaves it at that. So I ask him "well what do you recommend I do then?" He said, "I don't know" Wow, what great customer service. "I don't know" So I ask him why he had to take the phone to the back and call his boss. He told me, "It makes you look stupid to accuse me of such things." Ridiculous. Wow. So I'm now 12 days into the purchase with a phone I don't even want and the company will NOT honor their warranty. There is something seriously wrong here. I really hope I don't have the same response from Verizon from these other two reviewers. And I really hope there's something I can do to get rid of this NON WORKING PHONE THAT I JUST PAYED 500 DOLLARS FOR!!!!! MAN. I don't usually get mad like that, but I have NEVER in my ENTIRE life had such a terrible experience with ANY company EVER! I hope this review helps some of you steer clear of these guys. Go to a real Verizon store. These people are scammers. There is no way my phone would develop scratches. I put it in the Defender Otterbox as soon as I got the phone. I've always received decent assistance at this Verizon "authorized dealer," with help evaluating my plan, questions about my phone, etc. But recently I went in to order a new phone for my wife (for Christmas) and received extraordinary assistance. Specifically from store manager Dan Contreras. I ordered a phone, then changed my mind about the model I wanted and Dan rolled with it all without a hint of irritation. He was extremely knowledgeable about all the specs and prices, and how much they would cost me monthly, etc. He was able to answer all my questions quickly and confidently. Most impressive was his quick ability to fix a lingering, odd problem between my wife's and my phone in a matter of seconds! This is a problem that I had sought help with from a couple other "phone experts" who could not figure it out after spending some time on it. Dan fixed it in a snap. Thanks Dan! My iPhone of 6 years finally decided it was done and wouldn't turn back on. I was on vacation in Joshua Tree for my birthday and had to go into this store. My anxiety was high from the covid numbers and the rush of customers in this store...and I was a mess from fear of losing everything (my life!) on my phone. The team there worked so well to keep us safe and addressed and got everyone out as quickly as they could. They knew regulars by name and you could tell had a genuine rapport and trust built. They handled difficult customers like gentlemen. They were troubleshooting pros! Tyler greeted me and assured me he would do everything he could to restore my phone! That he did! Tyler took every possible action and was persistent with getting the data off my current phone before it was lost forever! It took two attempts to update the phone via computer before it would even turn back on...then after many failed attempts to backup my iPhone onto iCloud, he was able to get the information off my phone onto a PC and into my new phone! He also saved me $800 on the new phone with his heroic perseverance! Anyone else would have given up and told me the phone was shot and there was nothing they could do! I kept joking that I could see his superhero cape! EVERYONE working in this store was so kind and sweet! It was a joy to spend my birthday with them and they made me feel like family. All the while, Nicky kept our spirits high with good humor. He made us smile, laugh and did all he could to make an otherwise crappy situation a joy. Everyone there exhibited top notch world class customer service to all that came through! I can't thank them enough for saving the contents of my phone, making a stressful situation pleasant and enjoyable, and making me feel special on my birthday! Thanks guys! I have used Verizon for my cell phone coverage for many years. As a baby boomer, I can get overwhelmed with all of the technology changing every nano second. I have also purchased several phones in the past years and anytime I have questions or problems with my phone, any of these young folks are patient and respectful while they fix or explain things. I often notice people my age being attended to and the employees are patiently explaining things to them too. Yes, sometimes they get busy. If you can, just come back another time, like I do. I have been in the service business all of my life. Dealing with customers can be challenging at times, especially if they are rude or you just can't make them happy. I have never seen any of these young people be impatient or disrespectful to any of those kind of clients. I appreciate being able to come into the store and have my questions answered. My friend had another service in this area for two years and that store was rude and indifferent to any of her concerns. She could not wait to get back with Verizon. I came in a few weeks ago with some screen issues I was having Amanda helped me fix it, I'm so happy I was able to get it fixed and understand the silly issue to prevent it from happening again. Amanda is by far the best employee at Verizon wireless, she is very helpful, & knows exactly what she's talking about, most employees just lie to get a sale I've noticed but not her! Update. The day after this unfortunate incident I got a phone call from the regional manager of GoWireless he asked me to come meet him at the store and bring my equipment with me. I decided to give them the opportunity to make this right and he did. He came in and went through everything with me line by line for our account fixed anything that was an issue and also exchange some of our products for other products to meet our needs better at the cost of the store. I thought it was really awesome that they took the time to do this for us I really appreciate the service and the time that they took to make everything right for us not a lot of businesses that do that anymore and that actually care about their customers so I give them two thumbs up and recommend them for your wireless services Do not buy your phone from the store. We. were looking to change from AT&T because they lost their service out in Twentynine Palms so we stopped in at this Verizon store now the guy helping us, took forever because he had no idea what he was doing he couldn't even run the credit check correctly on my husband He sat there and sold us a $80 plan on each phone that would replace the screens if they were ever broken and so I said well would that replace the insurance because why would you buy insurance if the screens constantly are being replaced for free and he said don't worry about it you can add insurance later if you decide to we are not like one of those companies that you have to buy it right now or else you can't get it. Come to find out he was lying about that too I called Verizon cuz it seemed a little sketchy and they said no we had to get the insurance on the phone in the first 30 days or else we would not be able to get it just like every other cell phone carrier. I get home with my new phone and the screen doesn't work on my phone at all when you touch it so we had to drive all the way back to Yucca to get it replaced while I was there I was reading on the wall about the plan and the guy totally lied to us it wasn't the screen that was being replaced it was a piece of plastic that he put on the front of your phone that would be replaced any time it broke he totally one-hundred-percent lied to us. He himself was talking about a marine he knew on base and was calling Marines boots and pogs, so he sitting here disrespecting Marines while he's sitting there working at Verizon Wireless real cute you just made yourself sound stupid all the time you were there I wanted to cringe inside every time he was making all these comments mind you we were there for over 4 hours just so he can sell us three new phones one for me one for my husband and one for my daughter. He also asked my husband for his military ID so he could get a copy of it to add it to our account so that we could get a discount meanwhile he never put the discount on and when I called back later to ask if they were going to put it on they said it takes a month to a month and a half to show up on our bill I decided to call Verizon cuz this didn't sound correct and Verizon said no that's not correct you have to go online and add it yourself.... so why is this guy sneaking into the back making photocopies of my husband's military ID when he already had a copy of his regular ID ? again we were completely lied to. meanwhile they put this plastic on the front of my phone that doesn't fit my phone at all and it's cracked in 7 pieces already and they don't have the plastic piece that matches my phone even though they charge me $80 for this program that they have. Seriously the service here is terrible and when you ask them about things they just lie to you because they don't know what they're doing. do not go to the store do not buy anything from them it's a waste of time you still have to go back and deal with Verizon customer service to get anything taken care of or done. read more
