I initially came here to fix up my bumper because it started falling off. Josie took the time to show me what was wrong, turns out the clips on my old bumper was cut off and the bumper was glued on (by another auto body shop years back -_-). More like 4.5 star for me. Also this might not be the body shop you are looking for, depend on what you want. For me, this was the only Body shop with reasonable pricing, kind and helpful. I went to 6 different bodyshops around the town, for bumper and side body scratches. Most expensive quote was $1600, cheapest was $700. $700 one was not a body shop, it was a person who would come and fix my car. But he seemed irresponsible for his words. This place was below $1000. I am sure 1600 one would have gave me some discount, after some tiring negotiations. Vermont Auto Body doesn't give you "factory" condition, unless you replace the part. If you are very keen on details and know about automotive surfacing, you will catch small dent / low spots on surface after they finish your car. But it absolutely looks fine with shiny new paint in most of cases. Within budget, I think this place does best job and customer service is really nice. If you find a spot you don't like, they do their best to be responsible about it. read more

I'm a sheet metal mechanic with local 85 in Atlanta, Georgia I had some minor work I needed on my car so I went to Vermont to get an estimate. I had also recently pulled too close to a tow Dolly on the back of a truck which picked my grill in slightly so I pulled off the Mercedes Center cap so I could pull the grill back in place but I was exhausted and it was dark so I just put center cap in car and asked Vermont about repairing the grill too . They tried to over charge me. The girl said my Benz grill wasn't like a Honda and required a lot of work to repair, removing all the clips, blah blah blah Nope, it all snapped right back in place. I was so disappointed because they were recommended by a good friend. Please be careful!!! You will pay $500 for something you can easily do yourself if you don't know better. Completely dishonest, so sad! Needless to say I will just have my car detailed here in LA and allow my guys in Atlanta to make the necessary repairs needed when I return home from my assignment here in LA. read more

I own a 2005 Nissan 350z, which I cherish a lot, so when the trim on the door started to pop off, i tried a couple things myself but nothing would stay, so I found this auto body place right around the corner for my apartment that seemed to know and service many Nissans I decided to give em a call and see if they could help. Anyway, a woman answered the phone and was extremely accomodating and let me come in, and when I did come in she quoted me a lot less than I had been expecting and also told me the reason the trim popped off in the first place. She informed me it was a family business and they'd been in service for 40+ years so I put a deposit down and they ordered my piece. About a week later piece comes in and they let me drop the car off and in about an hour and a half my cars all perfect, even washed it for me. I don't normally write reviews, in fact this is my first one. I had to write one though because they were pretty amazing. I took my accord in for a bumper repair on Monday and got it back on Wednesday. Thought it would take at least a week but to my pleasant surprise it only took a day and a half. Even better, my bumper looked brand new! I honestly wouldn't have been able to tell between the repaired bumper and a new one. The cherry on top was that they also fixed up my jacked up license plate and frame as well which is isolated of the accident. From the estimate to the return of the car, Sandy and Josie were extremely accommodating, particularly with the situation I was in with the other driver. They were professional, helpful and super friendly as well. Although, I hope I don't have to do any more future repairs, I do find solace in the fact that I can rely on Vermont Auto Body. I mentioned my bumper was still a tiny bit not-fully-molded-in-yet last year. They said give it some time. After a year, it looked like it was getting worse. Turns out the valet guys at my workplace put a screw into my new bumper and painted it to blend into my car color, because they probably bumped my car and didn't want to tell me. Vermont found this screw and showed me pictures taken after the repair showing that they didn't screw it in. They also explained what repercussions it had. They still fixed my bumper and refused to take my money when I offered after confirming it wasn't their fault. Consistently good service. read more

I came In to get an estimate for my 2002 Ford Focus,which had a busted hood. I was told by the young lady that my car was a total loss and should sell it as junk . She gave me an estimate of 3000 to have it fixed, but then told me to come back the next day to get a better estimate from her boss. I ran away from those prices and never looked back. I found a different collision center, which gave me a much better estimate. I found out that all I needed replaced was my hood and a new radiator support. Don't give me a terrible estimate especially if you have no clue what needs to be done. Took my business elsewhere and saved over 2k. read more

First ever Yelp review and it's because the service here is so exceptional. I brought my vehicle here on a sunny Saturday, shortly before my lease was over and I had to turn in the car. Sandy inspected the car and gave me an estimate off the bat that was hundreds lower than the other estimates I had received. Not only that but she took the time to explain the process of each repair. Not only that but when she heard that I had not yet had my inspection, she suggested I hold off to see what the inspector had to say, just in case he didn't require some of the repairs. I can't remember the last business that was so customer-focused that they hurt their potential bottom line in favor of the customer! Thank god she made that suggestion because the inspection turned up fewer required repairs than I expected. So much so that I didn't need Sandy's services after all. When I called Sandy to tell her the good news, she offered further sage advice on the lease return process for my specific brand of car and what to watch out for. Who provides that level of customer service these days? I guess Vermont Auto Body does. Any future needs I have for auto body repair, they are my first and only stop. I will never understand the negative reviews here. I refuse to go anywhere else for body work. People write reviews here about how they think they got quoted too high and this place is a ripoff, but did they bother shopping around and doing a price check at other locations? Sandy always is the best. I never feel like coming here is a task - it's like catching up with old friends or family. They give me snacks, we laugh and chit chat while I am waiting on a rental. Jocie is a new office girl and Sandy's right hand gal and I already love her as much as Sandy. Something as stressful as needing repairs on a car is never something I dread or worry about when I know I have this place to go to. I don't care where I bounce around to or live in LA, I will always make the trip here. From a smashed trunk from a drunk driver hitting my old gold Corolla a year and a half or so ago, now to my new blue Corolla that I decked out like the TARDIS from Doctor Who that I love to death (it's the "CARDIS") that is currently in the shop from a douchebag deciding to decorate my driver's side door with their key, I know my vehicle is in good hands. I've been having a really rough time financially, and yay me, it always happens around the times when my car needs fixing and I have no extra income, but Sandy and Vermont Auto Body always has my back. Here's just a few of the things she's done to go up and beyond any expectations one would have from any sort of body shop or similar place of business: -She paid for the extra days on my rental out of her own pocket when my insurance company was dragging their feet and I had to go over my limit on amount of days the rental was included under my insurance. -One time I asked her to throw on wipers because I needed new ones desperately, and asked her to just charge me extra for them. Came to pick up my car when it was ready and she wouldn't charge me for the wipers, they just tossed them in for free. -The car needed a dent or a scratch taken out from an accident, but she made sure they covered up ADDITIONAL dents and scratches that I got from idiots not knowing how to parallel park on the streets along my bumpers and doors, and she didn't add it to my bill. -The gold Corolla had an issue with the seatbelt on the driver's seat. The stupid plastic panel that encases the seat belt to the side kept popping out and un-attaching from where it connected with the door. I asked the dealership to fix it and they "fixed it" (not enough to where I could still see it looked warped), and it popped put again. I just ignored it, and wound up forgetting about it. When I took the car to get fixed for outer body damage, I realized days after I picked it up that THEY FIXED THE PANEL FOR ME, and it never popped out again. I didn't mention it, they didn't even mention it - just saw it needed fixing and fixed it. The stupid dealership didn't even do it correctly and had to be told more than once; Vermont just took it upon themselves and voilá! Fixed. Granted, I have decent insurance and I know that helps, but I've had pretty decent insurance in the past and never got the kind of service that I get with Vermont Auto body from anyone else. They're real people doing a job they do best. They will work with you. They will try to find the best and easiest solution for you. They understand everyone has busy lives, lots of things going on, financial hardships - they take all that into consideration and help work with you to come up with the best solution. I know that if I ever lose my insurance or am in need, Sandy will hook it up for me and help me the best that she can (I even stated in my first/old review here that she was even willing at one point to try and work out a payment plan with me - who does that? I've never heard of any other places being able to do something like that, and I'm talking about I was so tight on cash I couldn't even cover my deductible, and she was willing to help me). I love them. This isn't just my auto body shop, this doesn't ever feel like a place of business just trying to squeeze another dime out of another chump - this is basically a set of close friends with a knack for fixing up cars like new and helping out their dear friend in need. I will never not recommend them and I will never go anywhere else. They have a customer for life with me. Thank you always and forever, Sandy. Thank you, Jocie.
