My husband and I recently visited the Ironwood Vero's location, and we had a wonderful experience. Our server, Natalie, was amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the wine selection. Based on her recommendations, we tried a few glasses of wine that we absolutely loved. I'm in San tan for the weekend and wanted some pizza and wings on Monday Labor Day !! I got naked wings and they had a sweet deal at the time but 1 get 1 free for breadsticks and then my boyfriend got a pepperoni pizza. The wings were really good I was very happy with them. The breadsticks were good nothing crazy I will say you can taste chard a lil bit from the grill which wasn't a big fan of. Boyfriend got a thin pepperoni pizza and he said it was too salty for his liking. Overall solid 3.5 but can't do .5 I would come back for the wings! read more

I ordered take-out pizza here. I think the one unfortunate thing is that it takes sooooooo long for the pizza. BUT it's definitely worth the wait and absolutely DELISH! I tried to go again last night but online it says that it's open until 2am but the door says just the bar. The kitchen is closed at 8 or 9pm so that was unfortunate because the pizza is so good! For a few months now, I've been getting pounded with ads for this place. I kept saying I would try it because I've been looking for a good Chicago style pizza nearby. Well today was the day. Uber had BOGO for the pizzas and I took advantage. And yes, it was a deal. I ran an order on their website and for just one of each of the pizzas the total was about $40 more. So let's start. We order 2 Chicago style pies with what I thought was mushroom and pepperoni, but I pressed peppercinis by mistake. I also made the same mistake on the thin crust pies. We also ordered the garlic Parmesan wings and onion rings. Let's talk about the wings first. They were pretty good. The garlic Parmesan rub was delicious. I would only recommend they offered a well done option. I like my wings fried hard (IYKYK). The thin crust pizza was my least favorite. While they offer a good sauce something about the thin crust seemed to soak up the peppercini flavor and it ended up being a bit over whelming. Now to the Chicago Style. The crust had some thickness to it as expected but fell a little short on the undercarriage. It didn't offer the sturdiness you need for Chicago style. So every slice was really floppy and needed careful handling or else everything would fall off. That said... it was pretty delicious. As I stated before they offer a delicious sauce and in the thicker pizza it really shined through. The cheese was perfectly melted on to the pies. I only wish I would have ordered correctly. Onion rings came with the order of wings. They left much to be desired. It wasn't a lot and we still didn't finish them. My wife and I would normally tear through any order of onion rings. All in all this is really a 3 1/5 star review but they don't offer 1/2 stars on here. I opted for 4 stars because it was closer to a four than it was to a three. I will be ordering from here again. Next time making sure my order is placed correctly and I look forward to trying the heroes. read more

I also thought there was too much crust. I think if you go here then best option is to eat it there to be fair. The deep dish was a little too doughy and had a lot of sauce. Me and my wife moved to Queen creek last year and have been going to vero ever since. Not once have I had a bad experience. The music and lighting can be perfect for a Friday night out, and a chill Sunday morning!! The servers are always super welcoming, showing me around the menu and always meeting my needs. The last server we had was Kylie, she is worth bringing up, she was cracking jokes left and right and made our night. Went in to try to get a quick lunch on a Sumday and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the pizza. I had looked at the google reviews beforehand so my expectations were not high, and first glance of the menu showed steep prices. The price for the pie I got was more than $20, but the crispness of the green peppers and fresh taste of that and the other ingredients on the Wrigley made it well worth the spend. We are from Chicago and this is our favorite pizza place so far. First time we ordered a deep dish which I did not care for, tasted salty, crust was super buttery, was not going to bother going back but then we tried a thin crust pizza on a different day and it was excellent. We have ordered thin crust pizza from here several times now and everytime the taste is great and when family visits they also love it. We also tried the cheesy garlic bread this last time and it was a total disappointment. It was basically an untoasted piece of bread with cheese and garlic on it, we actually threw the remaining cheesy garlic bread in the garbage. Hang out night with some foodie friends and boy were we in for a treat. First off their dough and sauce are made from scratch daily. The atmosphere is laid back, family friendly and offering some great eats. My 10 year old couldn't believe they have crafted boba lemonade drinks. Fun for the kiddos. We enjoyed a few different style pizzas from thin crust to deep dish and butter crust. As well as a calzone. A variety of wings and some amazing fried pizza dough bites with marinara sauce. I arrived with a party of 8 today at 4:25 pm. We figured we'd show up early before it got busy on New Year's Eve, but the place was packed already. We were seated quickly, had an excellent server whose name I wish I'd gotten, and enjoyed a great dinner! We had the pizza fritti and french fries as appetizers and they were delicious! We had 2 - 10" pizzas, a calzone, 2 - 14" pizzas, and my granddaughter had a child's chicken nuggets and onion rings. We left with so many leftovers, but since we couldn't agree on pizzas to share, we expected that. The children's meal was very good size - I dare say there was enough for an adult meal. Every seat was filled the entire time we were there and our server did such a great job seeing to our needs even while the place was hopping. We never had to wait on a drink refill, which was fantastic! Waiting with an empty glass is one of my pet peeves, but ours were replaced when they were nearly emptied without fail. Cheese curds were some of the best I've had in Arizona - fresh cheese and the breading crispy and seasoned. Our friends had a butter crust pizza like a margarita style which was tasty. I have not yet been to the Windy City, but my taste buds were excited to experience Chicago-style pizza for the first time at Vero Chicago in San Tan. Before diving into the pizza, we enjoyed the cheese curds, a savory and satisfying appetizer. The Sears Tower Pizza with its thin crust was a masterpiece of flavor and texture. The cheese, sauce, and toppings were incredibly delicious. Pizza is one of my comfort foods, and I can confidently say this was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. I look forward to trying Chicago-style pizza in Chicago itself one of these days. The restaurant has a bustling atmosphere decorated with Chicago signage. They offer karaoke for customers and have a sports bar, adding to the overall excitement of the evening.
