I frequent the mesa location all of the time because i work near it. I live in queen creek and have tried the queen creek location 3 times now. The quality is very inconsistent it's disappointing. I order a large cheese pizza WELL DONE. They cannot figure out what well done means. The girl on the phone says "you mean extra crispy? Then puts extra crispy on the receipt. But the pizza is undercooked each time. If i say well done in mesa. The pizza is well done. I don't understand why the queen creek location is so different from the mesa location. Like seriously, just come here for the cheese pizza and you won't be disappointed. There's a reason why Kevin McCallister attacked Buzz over a cheese pizza. Kevin McCallister once threw hands with his brother Buzz over a good cheese pizza, and I get it. A good cheese pizza is perfection. It has been a minute since I went to Amici, the TikTok viral hot spot in town. I actually live by the O.G. location. And with Game 4 of the WBNA Finals going on, pizza was the obvious choice for dinner. Now that they have this second location, I figured I'd pick up a cheese pizza, some hot wings, garlic knots, and a Shirley Temple for the menace that is J-Wow. Now about the food... Pass on the garlic knots. They were dense and were room temperature. The marinara was bland as well. The hot wings weren't anything special either. It was super vinegary and tasted like Frank's Red Hots. The Shirley Temple was nothing extraordinary. The lid didn't fit properly so it made the drive home frightening. The cheese pizza was good though. Good flavor, foldable, but really bready. If I had only gotten the pizza, I would have given them four stars. But with the room temperature garlic knots and the ill-fitting lid on the drink, I'm leaning more towards three stars. Don't bother getting anything besides the pizza. read more

Good ingredients, prepared well, and you can tell this place is dialed in operationally. Nothing feels sloppy or rushed. The New York-style has a proper fold, good chew, and doesn't collapse into sadness. The Sicilian is thick without being doughy and actually holds together, which is harder than it looks. Is this the absolute best New York pizza you will ever have in your life? No. Is it better than most places calling themselves "New York style"? Absolutely. Big menu, tons of variety, and a full Italian lineup beyond pizza. Already planning a return for a calzone and whatever other carb-based temptations I can justify. We had heard a lot about the Mesa location of Amici Pizza, so it was quite exciting when they opened up in Queen Creek. This location is takeout only, with the options of placing an order online, over the phone, or in person. Orders usually take about 20-30 minutes once placed. It's a little longer of a wait for bigger orders and when they're busier on Friday night & the weekends. After having tried a variety of pizzas, the ones I like the most are the Sicilian Thick Crust upside down (cheese on bottom, sauce on top), as well as the Bianco and the Square Grandma. I also like the eggplant parm and tiramisu here. If you don't want to commit to a whole pizza, they have slices available for lunch. I usually ask for the those to be lightly re-heated since the thinner crust tends to get a bit too crispy for my liking, otherwise. Overall, 3.5 stars but rounding up to 4; the menu items, especially the pizza, are on the pricey side. Also we've tried several appetizers, and there were a few that weren't great (fried mushrooms, fried zucchini, and garlic knots). If you're in the area, give them a try! read more

Amici should be killing Barros and Venezias. This is GREAT pizza. I'm from NY so I'm biased toward NY style pizza. The texture of the crust, the flavor of the sauce and cheese (mozzarella provolone blend) together. The pepperoni that curls up around the edges. This is the real deal. I wish the closest one wasn't 15 miles from my house. My wife unfortunately loves Barros and they're close by, but I may just refuse to eat sub par pizza from here on out, saving myself for Amici. read more

My son made me review this place. It didn't disappoint. We took it home so it wasn't as hot but the taste was there. The mozzarella sticks we ordered came out first. I couldn't resist on my way to take them to my car I had one and it was hot gooey inside and crunchy outside! So glad I had it there because by the time I got home the rest weren't as good but that's because you need to have them hot! The pizza we got was pepperoni and even though it wasn't as hot because we ate it when we got home it was good! Only bad part about it was I think there should be more pepperoni since they are small. The Mozzarella Sticks had great flavor but were also cold, soggy, and once again not cooked long enough. The boneless wings were excellent, perfect flavor and were cooked wonderfully. The location was busy, the staff was super nice and had a great attitude. The pizza was greasy- literally dripping oil. The crust was very thin with a not so great texture but decent (though not bold) flavors. The garlic knots just tasted like vegetable oil, definitely get them with cheese as it helps. The Shirley temples were very overrated, wouldn't order one of those again. The cannoli needed more chocolate chips- it was basically ricotta and fryer oil. Overall, I wouldn't return but the pricing was reasonable and the service was both quick and genuine. Ordered Amici for the second time tonight for delivery through DD. Asked for the pizza to be well done so it wasn't soggy when it arrived and it was great! Ordered a vodka pasta for my daughter and the sauce was delish. They didn't include her drink or the Shirley that we ordered which is a bummer. We ordered boneless wings and meatballs and both were great too. Food was hot and fresh, rarely happens when ordering togo, so much appreciated! Just bummed about the missing drinks. our new favorite local pizza place!!! i've seen amici pizza on social media for quite a few months now and wanted to go try it but since i had learned they were coming to QC only 5 minutes from us, we decided to wait until they opened! we went on their first saturday they were open and knew there was going to be a wait. we had to drive there to place the order (just because it was so busy and they were only taking walk-in orders for now) and then they told us it would be about a two hour wait. they exceeded those expectations and it was ready in a hour! i loved that the owners were working there and they are so dang nice. they aren't kidding when they say this location is super small as it is takeout only. there are a few tables outside to eat which will be nice when it gets cooler. the aesthetic of the shop is super cute also! as for the food, we ordered a large new york style pepperoni pizza (very good flavor, very good pizza!), bbq boneless wings (thought these were also good) and of course had to order one of their famous shirley temples! it was refreshing and delicious. we will absolutely be coming back here soon to try more of their delicious food. shoutout to all the staff working and owners for handling such a high volume of demand so well. you guys rock! thanks amici!!! read more

Ok, I'll start with I have no affiation at all with this resturant. I don't know the owners and have never met them. I am, however, a fan of small business and locally owned resturants. I have an issue with giving such negative reviews to places that have only been open a couple of weeks. New resturant, crap happens! Reserve negavite reviews until a resturant has been open a few months and have had a chance to iron out the kinks. Especially for locally owned resturants. If they still suck after a few months then by all means roast them! We pay a lot of money for food eating out so I think it's ok to express displeasure. With that said we called in and placed an order for a 14" "The Works" pizza. They told us it would be ready within 30 minutes and that's exactly what happened. It was really well made with the toppings being spread evenly across the pie and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The crust held up well and was not overly chewy. It actually reminded me of what Venezia's Pizza used to be. I will definately be ordering from here again and am looking forward to trying more menu items. And if they do start to suck I will definately be posting again to let them know. read more

Pizza here is hit or miss. Had lunch here today and the pizza was terrible, however the eggplant was good. Reason for the poor review is that when I made the comment about today's meal on the Arizona Pizza Facebook page the owner contact the administrator and asked to have me removed from the page simply because today's meal wasn't good. My daughters turned me on to this pizzeria through TikTok and they made it a thing at their high school. I'm going to ask them to put in the same energy to take it down. If Amici's doesn't want a fair review that's their problem. I've given them good reviews in the past as well but if they're now censoring people from posting reviews I would say they're petty and not worth going. I'm very upset with this Queen Creek location. I waited in line to place an order, only to be told--after 3 p.m. (it was a little past 4 p.m. at the time)--that they don't serve slices anymore. Everywhere else I've been, pepperoni slices are always available, so I asked if I could get a few slices of pepperoni and was told no. At that point I said, "Well, you just lost a customer." This is really disappointing, especially since this is a take-out only spot. At the very least, keep a variety of slices available and try to accommodate customers. Instead, it felt like the staff (mostly young high school/college kids) didn't want to work or know how to run a business where customers feel valued. read more
