Cool sign, and they have a drink by this name!

Stopped at the Badlands Bar & Grill for happy hour, what a great little bar! Very unassuming, service was awesome and prices reasonable! Our waitress was wonderful, so friendly and knowledgeable!

we were hesitant because of other reviews, but decided to come in tonight for dinner. Delicious, fresh food, and amazing service!!! Everything was really good, and cooked well. Big and plump shrimp in the cocktail, The wedge was really nicely sized, and we shared it. Really enjoyed the ribs and walleye fish. The broccoli was really tasty; a nice light combo of butter, lemon and salt!!! Dessert of the brownie came out warm and kinda toasted. The Restaurant itself id smaller, and Plain Jane, but clean looking. Our server Renee was super attentive, really friendly, and gave 100%!! Delicious and will be back!!

Wonderful bar pub, with a beautiful inside setting and a gorgeous bar. I really enjoyed the staff they were very friendly and attentive. My husband and I split the spartichoke dip which was a pleasant surprise. We both absolutely loved it and thought the crispy Brussel sprouts were a great addition. My husband had the wagyu burger for his entree and I had the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich for mine. Both really tasty, fries came with both and thought those were seasoned great and perfectly crisp. My husband and I keep talking about going back, it was a wonderful date night spot with really good food. Highly recommend!

For a quick breakfast and lunch, it's not bad. A fairly wide assortment of food. Service was good. Ambiance is a little stark. Easy parking. I had the steak and eggs with a side salad. It was fine.

stopped by for a quick cocktail and got a friendly hello when we walked in. The bartender was friendly and provided friendly service. Liked that it wasn't busy and had a laid back atmosphere with some music playing.

Breakfast, I ordered the coffee, tasted like fish water and sent it back and only went with the water. Ordered the eggs over easy. They were hard inside. Ordered the hashbrowns. Oh come on! They tasted so bad I couldn't eat them. At least the sour bread toast was decent. Left hungry. We will not be going back. The service was good and the place is cute inside.

This is a nice local place with great service high-quality food and a wide variety on their menu. Other night we were very tired, but I wanted to go somewhere and grab something to eat, but not go far so we chose this destination because we had been wanting to stop by here anyway. The inside atmosphere was very vibrant. They were having a trivia night on one side so we sat on the dinner side. Our server Autumn was wonderful. She was very helpful and she was very attentive. There are a lot of things to choose from on the menu and this is a scratch kitchen, so everything is made to order which is always great to hearwe ordered quite a few different items. Everything was well prepared. Everything came out pretty fast. I would highly recommend you try to place for a great local place with great food and great service. It's always nice to have somewhere right in your immediate area. Great local spot for local families! Food 5/5 Service 5/5 Location 5/5 Atmosphere 4/5 Parking 5/5 Return Factor 4/5

    The epic Spartichoke!
    Crystal C.

We were excited to try out this new restaurant near our home. The food: Started with an app - the Spartichoke. Hands down the best and creamiest spinach artichoke dip I've had, and adding the roasted Brussels put it over the top. So much yum! I will be back for that. I was intrigued they had gyros, so I ordered the gyro pita. Delish tzatziki and a nice soft pita with nicely seasoned gyro meat. My hubby got the blackened chicken Alfredo that he enjoyed but mentioned it was more like a yummy Mac and cheesy. The service: took a minute to get seated, but once at our booth the waitress was friendly and attentive. Had several other staff members check in on us too. The restaurant: decor was nice, booth comfy, was super clean, and we enjoyed playing chive trivia they had going on the TV in the bar side.

    Lois B.

The food and service was excellent. It is all made from scratch, even the pretzels ( which I haven't tried but saw it!) . I've eaten here a couple of times. Don't let the super casual atmosphere deter you. The crispy Brussels sprouts are amazing and you can change anything on the menu items. The meatloaf is excellent, grilled chicken on sourdough, yummy! This is definitely not a " bar" food place. There are 3 areas to sit.

Hot honey chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. "Sweet & Spicy" on the menu.

Cleaned a few of the storage racks in the garage up and made space and organized it a bit. It was nearly 2 pm when I started getting tired so I stopped and went to take a shower. Once I showered and finally took a seat on my couch to rest, my mother-in-law arrived with some Queen Creek BBQ. I'm about as picky about BBQ as I am about pizza (pizza first though). Let's get into the results even before I talk about the food. AMAZING!!! Everyone in my house could not stop raving about it. The cook, the flavor, look of it all was just delicious. We had pulled pork, even shredded you could see a little of the bark in there. It was absolutely tender and straight BBQ flavors melted in your mouth. I could eat this any day of the week. The brisket was absolutely perfect. And that is coming from a guy who makes pretty amazing brisket himself. The bark looked like something out of the food network. It retained its moisture even through the 15-20 min drive it took to get to my house. It might have been the most tender brisket I have ever eaten. I didn't have any of the sides due to my current dietary restrictions, but everyone else loved them. My daughter could not stop eating the Mac and cheese. My son and wife loved the Cole slaw. Oh... let's not forget the BBQ sauce. Amazing! Think sweet baby rays meets seasoning. LOL This is a 5 Star Plus BBQ Joint. Make it a must have on your list while in Queen Creek.

I've heard about this bbq palace and read some good reviews. I smoke my own meat so I typically…read moredon't go too many bbq joints or drive way out. But I happen to be down by Queen Creek area so I decided to give it a try. I expected coming here Saturday around 630 pm they would be sold out on some items. Sure enough they were out of ribs, wings, Mac and cheese, potato (?) no meat by the lbs, only brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. We decided to eat here anyways since I really wanted to try the brisket, imo brisket is one of the hardest to smoke right and of brisket is good rest of the BBQ is good. It was pretty busy but was able to get a table right away. Ordered 1/3 brisket with coleslaw and beans 2, pulled pork sandwich with feies, and brisket loaded fries. Pulled pork sandwich and loaded fries came out first. I looked at my wife's sandwich and i was like hmm that's a interesting pulled pork sandwich, looks more like brisket. Then my nephew said, I think this loaded fries have pulled pork. Well some how meat got mixed up. Got my brisket plate and I have to say, presentation was good but when I poked around and saw that it had 2 slices of brisket I was little disappointed. I mean I know cost of meat has gone up but $27 for a plate with 2 small slices of brisket, two sides and toast... I took a bite of the brisket and at least it did not taste bad. It was tender and juicer than some of the other places for sure. But more I bit into it I realized I got the end of the night left over end cut with lots of fats. I like some fats on my bbq but this was not melt in your mouth clog your artery fat, it was sat around all day semi old not so melt in your mouth fat. I wasn't too angry about that knowing I came end of the day. Coleslaw was not to my liking, it wasn't bad but didn't care for the extra sourness. Now beans that was very intriguing. Took a spoonful and I was greated with beans, I think cabbage for extra crunch, some ground beef and some other stuff I couldn't quite figure out. I did like it and I thought it was tasty. If you want straight bean kind of person this ain't it. Then came to my second most important part of bbq for me, bbq sauce. You can have crappy bbq but if the sauce is good you can drench your meat and still eat it.. . BBQ sauce was pretty good but what in the heck is this little tiny tiny sauce cup bbq came in. And one... Just one... Like them small ranch dressing cup. No extra BBQ laying around for me to add if I want more, I have to ask for more bbq.. WTH. Now pulled pork sandwich was pretty good and loaded fries weren't bad. The wait staff did come and apologize for the mix up with the meat and said if we were OK with the food and since they are short on meat just keep it as is.... ( ). They did bring us pulled pork sandwich before we left which was nice of them. This was little harder for me to rate, because it was really 3 and half for me but not quite 4 so I went with 3, due to the mix up on the food and the dang cost of brisket plate. My wife did mention that she thinks her brisket sandwich had just as much of the meat as my dish for lot less and one less side dish. This place seems hopping for the locals and I'm glad it stays busy but it just was not for me and I won't be coming back. I did wish they had little selection of meat but it is what it is. I'm not going to lie, I am little curious as to know how the pork rib taste..

The patio looks nice for cooler days, and we enjoyed sitting in the little nook that had paintings and small crafts for sale. Recently purchased by new owners from France, I knew I had to try as I love French cuisine. They have a French Specials Board and a Croissant Menu, which my boyfriend both ordered from. We both said we wished there were more French items to choose from. What We Ordered: ~ Coke: served as a can with a mason jar of ice. ~ Goat Cheese Croque Monsieur: My boyfriend loved it, but wished there was more béchamel sauce. The goat cheese compliments the ham really well, and he throughly enjoyed. ~ French Quiche (Chicken, bell pepper, cheddar): I really enjoyed this quiche as it's not something you can find done well in a lot of places. The combination of ingredients work well together. ~ Cappuccino: This was crafted well and I enjoyed the light dusting of topping (believe cinnamon sugar). The espresso paired nicely with the frothed milk and velvety foam. ~ Croissant & Butter: Sadly, this was like any croissant you can get. A skip for us next time, but probably great for a sandwich. Overall, we enjoyed our meal though I'm not a fan of counter service. We'd return again, and pick a table more in the open so it's easily to deliver food to us.
