I honestly had no idea there was a Mexican restaurant in this plaza until just very recently. I'd always just known this place for Dollar Tree and TJ Maxx. To my pleasant surprise, the Yelp reviews were actually pretty solid too, so I figured why not give it a shot. The menu was pretty basic/standard, with all the usual Mexican food staples like Burritos, Tacos, Enchilada Plates, etc. But because it was my first time here, I decided to keep it simple and order a Regular Burrito with Carne Asada as my protein of choice. To my surprise, the burrito was actually pretty good. The Carne Asada had a lot of flavor and included a slight smoky taste to it, which isn't something I typically get from other nearby Mexican spots. The Reg Burrito size was decent. Not huge not small. My one issue was that the Burrito wasn't wrapped very tightly so when I picked it up, it kind of flopped to one side, and especially after I cut it in half, the filling started spilling out everywhere. Still though, the flavor was good. Price was quite standard too, at about $13.50 as of May 2026. Judging it solely based on the flavor, I'd come back to try some of their other dishes. One thing to keep in mind though is the restaurant itself is pretty small on the inside, so it might be a little cramped if you're coming with a big group. read more

Had a few tacos for lunch. Crispy tacos came in crispy shell with plenty of cheese topping. Enjoyed soft taco with carnitas the most. Quesabirrias had good amount of tender beef but let down by a lackluster tortilla which had not been crisped up sufficiently. Beef consomé was mild and average. Jamaica was excellent. i'm a traditionalist so I didn't go for the birria tacos that this place apparently makes really well. Got 4 regular tacos with different meats: carnitas, asada, tripa and pastor. Price point: great. Food: great. All the meats are juicy and flavorful. Salsa roja has the perfect amount of spice. The tomatillo salsa has a great balance of zing and flavor. Location: tucked in a corner of the strip mall with TJ Maxx next to a a nail salon and a large empty storefront. The outside of this restaurant leaves more to be desired but don't let that fool you. First time eating food from here an definitely not the last. Also the cherry on top, the limes are not dry! No review for service since I did a doordash pickup. read more

Ehhh just had a not so great experience. I mean, not bad but definitely not good. It's the second time I've been here. The first time it was really good and the staff was really nice. Which is why I came back today. I ordered a carne asada crispy taco and canned soda. The menu by the register said $4 taco and $1.50 canned soda. Seems fair. The woman told me the total which was $7. I asked how it ended up being $7 and she pointed to the menu (paper) and it said "Prices subject to change." Then she said she thinks the taco is now $4.50. Then she called over the other lady who printed the receipt since the first lady didn't give me my receipt. Okay prices changed, not a big deal. I sit down and a few minutes later she brings me the taco. I take a bite and it's chicken. I had ordered carne asada. So I tell the lady that the taco was chicken and she said crispy tacos come with chicken unless you request another meat...WHICH I DID. I remind her I ordered carne asada and she apologizes and starts making the correct one. She then comes over to me and tells me it's almost done and makes sure to take away the chicken taco which I found funny. Most places would apologize for the incorrect order and offer to let you eat it while waiting for the correct item since THEY MESSED UP, but nope, she made sure to swiftly take it. Whatever, they like to waste food, it's on them but I would think customer service wise, it would have been a nice gesture for getting the order wrong and making me wait longer. I just didn't care of the service today and I feel the food was overpriced. You can definitely go down the street and get the same thing for a few bucks cheaper. This was one of the best Taqueria meals I have had since I moved from Los Angeles. I had 3 crispy tacos (shrimp, fish, and chorizo) each was excellent and were served with crema Mexicana, delicious fresh salsa, and radish. The tacos were crispy without being greasy and the fillings were great. Both the fish and shrimp were perfectly cooked and very flavorful. The chorizo was lightly spicy and not greasy. We also had the ceviche which was fantastic. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. They had Negro Modelo which went great with the food. Everything tased especially fresh (quite unlike most taqueria's in the area). The outside looks pedestrian at best and the inside is clean & basic, but the food was superb. read more

Pretty decent Mexican. No free chips on the side and we only got a couple small containers of salsa for 2 meals, but both the green & red salsas were both tasty (the red had a nice spicy kick). I'm not sure what the different is between the regular and Super burrito (there's no info on Doordash or their menu in the restaurant), but my Super burrito with carnitas was pretty tasty (*very* good carnitas and quite a lot of it, a bit too much rice, and a little bit of everything else). Me and my husband's go-to Mexican restaurant! The steak super burrito is his go to. We have been to many Mexicans restaurants but this place tastes the best. Only downside is that we have noticed the taste/ quality of our food go down slightly when certain people are cooking it. There is a woman there who i believe is the owner or manager and when we drive by and see her working we know the food will be AMAZING. Chicken in the taqueria was dry and stringy. When I would bit into it half the chicken would come out whole. Totally lack of flavor in the flautas dinner plate. Chilaquiles were awful with a strange sour flavor (red chilaquiles) that was off putting. Pupusa has zero flavor. These prices are not cheap. So if you're in the area this spot is okay. Price wise I'd say it's a ok deal. Small dining area but I can tell the two ladies who work there are doing their best to keep it clean. You buss your own tables here so don't expect a fine dining experience. The spot was very busy on a weekday with locals, blue collar workers and tradesmen. It's always a good thing when you see the community and people of the same ethnicity as the food at the restaurant. Means there doing something right. We got a taco salad which was tasty but not a lot of salad, also it had rice in it which I didn't expect or would have ordered without. The Chile relleno and enchilada plate was decent size and had good flavor. I don't frequent this area often and I don't think I would go out of my way but if your local give it a try. Burritos were big and flavorful (meat is seasoned nicely and the rice is grand! I'm a fan of down home whatever and Veros is hitting that note. We got takeout based on the very few (but very high) Yelp reviews. I got the super chicken burrito. I hit into just beans and rice. Very dry. Salsas were very vinegary and gross so I added Tapatio. It did not help. 3rd bite I bit into a piece of chicken and I could not bite into it - it was ligament or something so I spit it out. Second bite, another piece of ligament instead of chicken. I lost my appetite and threw the rest away. I never even got a bite with sour cream, cheese and guacamole. I will never come back here. Never. read more
