Edit: Yikes. Just got off the phone with Kirk and we went in a circle on an issue for about 15 minutes. I understand trusting your employees, but to take something they said as gospel is beyond me. They were all (Shiree, Jason, Kirk and Joe) basically upset that I "hung up" on Jason - when I didn't. I ended the conversation with him with "I will consider my options, thanks" and that was misconstrued as hanging up and declining an offer they had made to resolve the issue I was having. This is a family run business, and I think that a lot of feelings and emotions are shared which sometimes make things like this personal. I get it, but at the same time they should take responsibility that their tech messed up by misunderstanding my request and charging me for something I didn't ask for. They could at least realize that mistake and not simply blame the customer for "not reading." * * * I had Versa Tech as my pest control company for several months now, almost half a year. I will openly admit that the pest control aspect of their company is top notch. They WILL get rid of bugs and prevent them. I will give them that 110%. However, the owner Jason, has the worst customer service I have had the displeasure of dealing with. He is simply unpleasant. He is curt, rude, abrasive and wears a overly fake facade to hide the fact that he hates dealing with people he deems annoying. Joe the tech, on the other hand, extremely pleasant and lovely guy. I always felt comfortable with him. Jason? He always made me feel small, insignificant and like I was a bothersome for asking a question or requesting a service. For being one of their "best customers" (something they always said, all the time) I was never treated that way and never felt appreciated for paying them double what my budget was on a monthly basis. After basically double charging me for a service this weekend, not explaining the charges correctly (unfortunately an error on Joe's part for not clarifying/explaining), and basically not giving a hoot about my concerns, I am moving on and finding another company that won't treat me so poorly. read more

Antelmo does a great job servicing my Father's house. He's very thorough and explains in detail what he is doing. I've observed him first hand and he does what is expected of him. He clears up the cobwebs around the house and even brushes the wheels on the trash receptacle. Previously his company eradicated the attic of pests and sealed any potential access points. I was receiving regular pest control services from another company, but their level of service had declined significantly, and I decided it was time for a change. I called Versa-Tech and Chris came out the very next day. He was very thorough in explaining the services they provide and seemed to really care about ensuring I would be a satisfied customer. Also, I liked that Chris was flexible in working with me since I work from home and have a toddler, and adjusting his service to accommodate my needs. What I appreciated the most is that when Chris applied treatment to the outside of my home, he was very thorough in clearing out areas where spiders could exist, and he took some time to ensure all areas were covered. The previous company I had a service contract with, the service representative did not seem to take pride in his work, and his service was not thorough at all. I would have been better off just buying a can of "Raid" and spraying the house myself. I am paying a premium to have professionals take care of the work, and Chris' professionalism and thoroughness are well worth the price paid. This was my first experience with Chris and Versa-Tech, but compared to the last company I had, Versa-Tech is hands-down the better of the two. There is no comparison. We currently have a reoccurring service for bimonthly pest control. We noticed one month that there were an increase of spiders and versa tech was able to come out for a free service in between our scheduled services to take care of the problem. I never had the privilege of speaking with Jason, the owner; although I had the most incredible and pleasant experience with one of his technicians, Stanley. My husband and I have been dealing with Earwigs & Spiders in our house for a couple months. It got to the point where they would crawl out of my sink while I was doing the dishes, or I'd wake up with infected spider bites. I have 2 cats and a dog, and didn't want to use Raid or anything that was going to harm them. I definitely recommend Versa Tech, and in particular Jason and his crew. They handled a very bad rodent problem out at my house that another company couldn't solve for months. Versa Tech came in, diagnosed the problems, showed me where the previous company went wrong. They were patient to talk about the whole problem they observed and their recommended solutions clearly. They came back to do all the exclusion work and not one rodent, not one rodent sound since, and it's been over half a year. Daniel worked on the property and was great. We then had Jason come out to see my in-laws house that had a problem, and he suggested a pretty common sense tracking and observation quarterly plan that fit the need of that home. I hired Versa-Tech again for some ant spraying around our front and back yards. On the second treatment visit, I mentioned to the technician, Antelmo, that I never got a follow-up visit for the rodent problem Versa-Tech handled back in 2021 (see my review here on Yelp from March 2021). Right there on the spot, Antelmo offered to inspect the attic, free of charge and even though I'm sure it set him back on his schedule. Also, bear in mind that it was 90+ degrees outside, and it was unusually humid for Southern California that day. Anyway, Antelmo goes up in the attic and does the inspection like a true professional. He even sprays and wipes down the "door" to the attic when he's done with his inspection. As for the ant treatment, he sprays all around the house and yards. He mentioned at least a couple of times it was to be expected that the hot weather would likely result in an unusual amount of pest activity right after the treatment. If that turned out to be the case, Antelmo said to give him a call or text on his phone, and he would come for a follow-up visit immediately. The one constant I've noted during the two times I've hired Versa-Tech is the great customer service. The staff goes to great lengths to not only get the job done but to make sure the customer is informed every step of the way. A lot of companies these days pay lip service to being focused on the customer. Rather than just talk the talk, Versa-Tech actually walks the walk and delivers a great customer experience.
