It was an honor to be invited to @vertigoeventvenue launch party. @vertigoeventvenue is a beautiful event venue for all your occasion. @vertigoevenvenue is a two stories building which was completely remodeled in 2014.  The first floor is a beautiful white room with amazing custom chandeliers and wall paper. On your way up to the second floor us see this breathtaking custom glass back splash which compliments an all glass elevator.  The second floor is by far my favorite room (the black room) an amazing all black room with the same custom chandeliers but in black. It was on the second floor when I witnessed Master chef Michael Kay cooking technique. He took everyone by suprise when he started to cook. It was a true work of art an extension of his personality. Showing us why they are the best choice. @vertigievenvenue is the best venue and will continue to be the best in LA for years to come. I've said this before and i'll say it again. I want to give Vertigo 100 stars. I loved having my wedding reception here. The staff is attentive, caring, and detailed. The venue is AMAZING! Beautiful, clean, elegant. Even the bathrooms are perfect. Brides... I visited 8 venues before deciding on vertigo, almost all the bathrooms were gross or lacked decor. Vertigo includes everything, even a production manager for the wedding day. Chairs, tables, etc are all ready to use. I walked into my reception room early to check view before the guest and I broke down in tears because it was so gorgeous. Jerry the chef is perfection. My guest are still talking about the delicious food. Michael is professional and gracious. Noni, is sweet and kind. I wish I could experience it all over again. the venue staff are worsts. we went for a wedding and we cannot park until 6pm. then when we parked at their "vallet" at 6pm. they we still waiting at their lounge for another 1 hour but the staff's are rude with the rude voices telling you that you can't just stay at the 1st floor with our baby. we have to wait on the crowded place at the second floor. i felt so bad for my kid to wait for another hour at a crowded place. then the waiter's keep on bumping the guests from the kitchen. while they don't even open the curtain for safety purposes. worst worst place to use for an event! read more

Very disappointed with my experience. A few days ago, I called and made a reservation for a specific date which i was told was available. We set up a meeting early Monday morning to see the place and finalized the menu, bc during the weekend the place was occupied and that was the earliest time to go there. After showing us the hall the manager looked to her computer and said that our day was booked just yesterday. They didn't even bother to call me, although I reserved it earlier - very unorganized and unprofessional. They didn't apologize either - and we just left. read more

Hands down best hummus in LA! I work for a non-profit organization that is constantly working with caterering companies around LA. At our last event, we had Vertigo-To-Go catering and it was incredible. The team at Vertigo was easy to communicate with, the portions were perfect for feeding our group of 100, and there were excellent vegan options - the vegan chili was the talk of the event! Other than the food everything else was horrible. But what got me the most was looking my 2 cologne and my Ray Ban sunglasses. When trying to letting the restaurant know about the situation all I got was a phone call from the 3rd party valet company it to say that we should've read the fine print, that they are not responsible, even though I asked them to pay for the parking but for me park my own car and hold on to my Keyes. Absolutely beautiful venue! We recently threw a surprise birthday there on the second floor and everything was gorgeous. Aden was extremely helpful in coordinating the event in and out of the office and the staff was on top of their game during the actual party as well. On top of it all, the food is incredible. Not your traditional banquet hall food. I have zero complaints as neither did any of my guests. We recently hosted and event at the Vertigo Event Venue. Michael and his team was outstanding! He really took care of us and went over and beyond our expectation. The venue is beautiful, the food (traditional Armenian food and American finger food) was great and amount served was unbelievable. All of our guests were enjoying the food and conversation continued well past our event end time. I am a professional event planner and work 30+events a year, and usually first time being at a new venue is a challenge. We were invited along with our friends, for the launch party for Vertigo Event Venue in Los Angeles/Glendale, CA. Honestly, it took our breath away. I have seen a lot of different banquet halls for functions like weddings, engagements, anniversaries and corporate events, but I have to say I have never seen anything so beautiful, modern, classy and gorgeous. It's very rare to find a venue that has a great look, great service and great food. Vertigo has it all! I've been here twice now. Once in the big hall and once in the small hall. The design is amazing. Both times I was amazed by the level of service. The team at Vertigo is amazing!! The servers are on top of everything. My glass was never empty and the staff was always around to help. What I was most surprised by was the food. I've been to many events at so many different banquet halls and the food is barley edible. I was a little embarrassed to review about the food and service and ambiance since the occasion was a somber gathering, but we had such a unique experience that I finally decided that they truly deserve the five stars, and I have to write about them. My hat is off to their Chef, outstanding fresh and delicious flavor combinations. Everyone at our table was raving how amazing the food tastes and how classy it is presented. Bravo to the staff, they were super friendly, courteous and very observant, as soon as something was running low, they would bring a fresh bowl or platter. FAN-TAS-TIC!! I was in search of the perfect venue for my engagement. All the halls we have in Glendale are beautiful, but none really stood out. I needed something that would be elegant and beautiful but different from my wedding venue (which shall not be named). The location: perfect! Perfectly situated near the freeway and right in the middle of Glendale. The parking is perfect because you don't have to be walking on a main street to walk to the front door. The valet is right at the entrance of the hall. The Decor: In one word, I would describe it as SHINY! Downstairs is the "white" room. Everything is bright and sparkly. The pillars have been covered in mirrored pieces to make it look chic and feminine (not my style, but I know many who would love it). You have a beautiful full bar at the lower level with a glittering mirrored stairwell to match the decor of the mirrored pillars of the hall. Even the elevator... wow... just wow... so gorgeous and modern. Moving up to the second story we have the black room. Upstairs the mood is a bit darker with a very upscale hipster feel. The bar is decorated to match but contrast the downstairs theme. With dark wooden wall panels and dark couches and black & chrome chandeliers (I need those in my life). Every detail of the upstairs is my style. The walls are gray with a black acrylic ceiling. the stage wall is gray with a hint of glitter to give it some pizazz. Can you tell i'm biased towards the upstairs room yet? The bathrooms: I need a photoshoot in here! They are amazing!! the mirrors, the wallpaper, the chaneliers!! Everything has been tended to with exquisite detail. The Food: If you're looking for something a little different from what you're used to at regular armenian/mediterranean restaurants/banquets. I have never been to a hall where I was told the food was not just good but AMAZING. I would even ask to have them cater outside events for my other parties even at home. It was amazing. They have managed to preserve the traditional foods with a new delicious twist. And to be perfectly honest, I wasn't too keen on changing things up. I usually prefer the typical kebab and mezzes that i'm used to everywhere else, but i was blown away! The Staff: In one word UNMATCHABLE! They made my event go off without a hitch. Anything i needed there was at least two staff members helping out. I didn't even have to tell them what to do and they made the image in my head come to life. Every guest commended me on my choice mainly because the staff was SO ATTENTIVE to their requests and mine. They were the most accommodating staff I have ever had the honor of working with. Typically, I worry that the staff is all talk with poor execution, but they have exceeded all my expectations and went above and beyond! Everything was tended to the way I imagined and then some. Wedding planning is hard enough but imagine losing your venue and large deposit 5 months before your wedding?! Unfortunately, that is what happened to my husband and I. I stumbled upon Vertigo on accident and came in for a tour with Anzhela. I was a stressed out mess but left feeling hopeful and relieved. As soon as I met Anzhela, I knew we would be in good hands! Her energy was contagious and she assured us "they would take care of us." We ended up booking after touring a couple more places and it was the best decision! From start to finish, the Vertigo staff was super accommodating and helpful. Anzhela always responded to my emails/texts promptly and even went out of her way to help me find a coffee bar vendor. She's the BEST! Aden helped with the production and he was also great! My wedding was EVERYTHING and more. I got so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the food tasted! From the moment I walked into Vertigo for a tour, I was impressed. My wife and I had our Wedding at Vertigo on Sat 01/24/15 and it was the best night of our lives. Vertigo was the perfect venue for us. It's the type of venue that can pull off elegant & beautiful or sexy & modern. We did the "take the house" option and had our ceremony in the white ballroom and our reception in the black banquet hall. With 200 guests, it was great having the entire place reserved for our party. Definitely glad we did the "take the house" option. We originally toured Vertigo back in March 2014. The venue's modern feel and built in dance floor lighting is what initially got my attention. Then it is was the great service. Michael and Carissa did an excellent job of showcasing the venue and making us feel like we would be more than just clients if we had our wedding at Vertigo. We loved the venue and were very comfortable with Michael/Carissa so we decided to book a tasting. After the tasting, it was a done deal. The food was excellent! After booking our date, Jerry was assigned to us as our event producer. Throughout the entire year, my wife and I were in contact with either Carissa or Jerry and they were always very responsive. Jerry is very experienced with weddings and did a good job of giving us suggestions or advise. It was a pleasure to work with him. Michael, Carissa and Jerry were all present on the night of our wedding and took great care of us. In the mist of running around on the dance floor and raising glasses to cheer with friends, I had put my tux jacket down on the side of the stage.....Michael later brought it to my chair so it wouldn't get lost or ruined. During such a crazy night, it was some of the simple things that I really appreciated. Overall, the entire staff at Vertigo was great since day one. After our wedding, our guests continually complemented our venue selection comparing Vertigo to the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. EVERYONE loved the food and service throughout the night. Even the bartending staff was awesome! I have no doubt in my mind that Vertigo was the right place for our wedding. We truly enjoyed our ceremony and reception.
