I attended a birthday party recently and I was blown away by how gorgeous this place is. It's a total gem that I'll be keeping in mind for future events! This is not a cookie cutter event venue (thank goodness)! Even the bathrooms here are beautiful and I'm not sure I can remember the last time I said that about any place. The thing that caught my eye the most was the mirrored staircase. It makes every person feel as though they are making a serious entrance. Once you make it past the staircase, everything else is just as gorgeous too. From the bars, the cute and comfy seating areas, to the main ballrooms themselves, everything has the coolest personality to it! While the location, decor, music, and food(the sliders were delicious) were all 5 stars on it's own, I'd give this place six stars if I could because of the service. My cousin recently got married here and let me tell you I was very impressed with the hall . Not only is it tastefully designed but the staff and food where on point . The food was amazing with each table had your own waiter that was only dedicated to your table so they made sure your table was always presentable and your plates where always clean . Tip if you tip them you will be amazed how well they will treat you . Also I am very big about not letting people smoke in the hall, most places do not hold this rule strictly . All it does is make the place stink and eventually discolor the halls carpet and walls but this hall is very firm on this rule . I saw someone start lighting up their cigar and right away security came up to him and made him go outside to smoke . Overall this place is amazing for a 200-250 person event . read more

For those who don't want to read the whole review, just read this one word and feel confident in booking this venue: EXCEPTIONAL! We just had our wedding at Vertigo on 10/15/16. The experience of planning a wedding may seem daunting and is definitely a lot of work, even when you have a wedding coordinator (which we did). However, Vertigo has made our wedding planning experience exceptional. The first impression was the venue itself. We walked at the end of the day at 6pm in the evening, were greeted with gorgeous interior design reminiscent of James Bond, ambient music playing the background, floral arrangements and everything was so clean & spotless and smelled fresh. For me, all those senses combined were a very important first impression- before ever meeting anyone, I could already tell how the staff ran this place. During the first meeting with Nonee and Michael we felt like family. Their easygoing, yet professional and amiable nature was the right combination to make us feel very comfortable. They help with the booking process, explain everything that is involved in the various packages and help you make the best choice for your individual wedding style, they really make it personal! All questions were answered, all concerns were addressed in detail without being overwhelming. We made our decision that night to "Take the House" and rent the full venue to do both our ceremony and reception in one place. We choose their amazing catering and top bar package. From then on we worked with Jerry who was our production manager - he makes the dream come to life. Nonee was always involved alongside as well whenever she was needed. Jerry is awesome, he is organized (which is so important during the wedding planning process), approachable, very quick to respond to my millions of emails (even with silly questions) and honest. He really represented the venue very well, as did everyone else. He helped us choose everything from linens, to the table layout, organized our tasting and even made it happen for us to do a rehearsal on a Friday night in the venue. He truly was a pleasure to work with and calmed my nerves when I worried too much because I'm a control freak. Everything production related was Jerry. The food at Vertigo is also very delicious, NOT just at the tasting. There are lots of options to choose from and Jerry helped customize our menu. The Vertigo team is trustworthy, very competent, organized and professional all while being so fun, friendly, inviting and lovely. I could tell they all really love what they do and have carefully selected each team member. I couldn't have asked for a better venue, experience or wedding. When we walked in on the day of our wedding everything looked magical, just as I envisioned! There were no surprises, mess-ups (although they always warn you things will go wrong) or issues. If there were, we had no idea and they were taken care of. The food was phenomenal, drinks kept flowing and the atmosphere was just perfect. Our guests couldn't stop saying that "this is the most fun wedding I've ever attended!" We are so happy with our decision. Authentic Mediterranean food made by a very old and experienced Armenian chef, outstanding interior design and everything is just gorgeous! Never seen a better venue. I attended a party I was invited to and it was so good that we didn't want to leave. The food was so good, I am sure I gained a few extra pounds! I don't know all the mezza's but I finally tasted the Ikra that is made as close to the original as possible! Amazing! The staff was beautiful and very helpfull. I gave this place 4 stars only because there was a rude bartender who was impatient with me when I struggled to choose a cocktail from the nonexistend menu at the bar.. We just had an event at Vertigo, and I must say it was spectacular!!! From the first meeting with Nonee and Michael, to closing out the day after, everything was more then we could have imagined. Nonee is very easy to deal with, and accomodated our every need. Even went above and beyond making sure every little detail went off without a hitch. While we didn't have a standard menu, Michael did more then wonders with the food. Amazing. We, and all of our guests, thouroughly enjoy every last bit of the food. He is a true chef that makes some great tasting dishes. The venue itself was a piece of art. Every detail thoughtout. Our guests couldn't say enough good things about the whole experience. We just attended an event yesterday night and even though the place is beautiful and elegant what blew me away was the service, our server Josh was amazing and we had a great time. Just pulling up the valet was so on it.. then I walked into the breathtaking venue it was so elegant but a chicness ...blew me away. It was a perfect set up for such a event. I'm not at all surprised by Vertigo's 5 star rating! We celebrated our wedding in the white ballroom in January and everything from the food to the service was the definition of classy. Before the wedding we had several meetings with Nonee & Jerry who are so sweet and professional, and we really felt like family throughout the entire process. I was really impressed when we went for our tasting and Jerry set up music and gave us some alone time to taste the different dishes and discuss amongst ourselves, then joined us to give his feedback when we couldn't make a decision, it was a very unique, fun, and enjoyable experience. We never once came across a problem, there was never any confusion, and everything from the weeks before till the end of the night was executed perfectly. They worked with our budget, our indecisiveness, and all the stress that goes along with planning a wedding. All our guests were obsessed with the food and kept talking about how it was the best tasting wedding food they have ever had. Their service during the wedding is unique because the waiters are attentive and they were able to fulfill our guests needs whether it was a drink or an extra plate. The team at Vertigo is amazing! We started planning our wedding in early 2019 for 3/27/2020...then, covid hit. After postponing a year, cancelling, then rescheduling, we were finally able to celebrate our marriage. I've photographed two events here(a birthday party and a fundraising gala) and I'm alway impressed by how great this place is. First off, the space is beautiful. It really is. Everything looks so elegant and classy. Second, and most importantly, is the service that is given by the staff. I'm a big service oriented person and these guys knock it out of the park. From the waitresses, to the bartenders, to the coordinators everyone does a great job at making the event run smoothly and ensures everyone has a great time. At my last event it was clear I was working the party, but a waitress came up and asked me could she get me a cup of coffee or anything else to drink. Wow!
