    Gorgonzola Gnocchi

Vescovo is a great little place in Brevard for Italian food, nice wine and cocktails. Their pasta dishes were highlights for me, both the creamy, dreamy gorgonzola gnocchi and the Cacio E. Peppe pasta that tastes freshly made. The wedge salad makes a nice side dish. The Triennes is a refreshing dry rose that goes great with pasta. At the bar they make a few interesting cocktails. I'm a whiskey cocktail lover, and I tried the Kumquat and an Old Fashioned, both nicely done. The Kumquat cocktail is made with ginger-infused bourbon, kumquat-flavored syrup, soda, and muddled lime and basil; it's delicious! Pro Tip: The place is small and reservations are highly recommended.

Don't think or wonder about this place. Get there, eat there, love your life. I had the crab cake and escargot. Both were some of the best I've ever tasted anywhere. Presentation and especially quality.

What a charming, intimate, chef-owned Italian restaurant! We celebrated my birthday here and I've not had a meal this amazing in a long time. Cozy interior, friendly and knowledgeable staff make an immediate positive impression. Reservations are best due to the limited seating and prepared to order food. First of all, the bread was served warm and fresh with a plate of roasted garlic in olive oil for dipping. We had two appetizers and both were so delicious that we used the bread to clean the plates! The gnocchi in Gorgonzola cream - heavenly! The filet meatballs were also fabulous. We had the special of fried artichoke hearts with a Dijon sauce - also incredible. We decided to split an entree after all this goodness - LOL. The pasta special was lasagna and I have to say, it was the very best I've ever had - in my LIFE. The flavors and quality of every dish were spot on - the chef and kitchen staff did a phenomenal job. The desserts sounded lovely but we were too full. We don't live in town, but we will definitely be back next time we visit. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Best meal I've had in a long time. The fried artichokes were yummy with a lovely romesco sauce, the shaved Brussel sprout, Brie, apple and walnut salad was huge. We had the gnocchi appetizer with Gorgonzola cream sauce was perfectly cooked. We also tried the Caco de Pepi pasta it was good, but I've had better. The bread with olive oil and buttery roasted garlic was a nice surprise. Just wish they hadn't sat us so near the kitchen when they were slow the music in the dining area and kitchen competed! We will go back!

What an incredible meal! Absolutely LOVED gnocchi, the best I've ever had! Seriously, get this appetizer!!! I ordered the shrimp scampi and it was delicious. I really enjoyed the whole experience & will definitely be going back!

Creative concoctions on the cocktail menu, each with it's own story!

What an amazing GREAT, LITTLE restaurant. If you are hungry this is the place for a great meal, If you are ready for a culinary adventure... these guys will blow you away! Our first time in... Just a little off the beaten path, in what we were told was called the Lumber district we walked into the Bishop's domain. The first thing we noticed was the warm, playful atmosphere... this is obviously a restaurant where the locals feel at home. Busy night, but the bar was right there, and the staff and patrons made us feel right at home. Waiting for our table was fun, as we discovered the cocktail menu... loaded with great, unique concoctions, all with their own stories, as we were introduced to the neighborhood. The menu is creative and the dishes finished to perfection. Here are people at work who UNDERSTAND and LOVE their CRAFT! Gorgonzola Cream Gnocchi, Filet Meatballs, Artichokes, Smoked Kurobuta Pork Belly & Scallops... YES PLEASE! You can taste the playfulness and pride; local ingredients, unique combination, perfect execution and you can expect a big grin and smile when you tell chef Trey you appreciate his work. If you can get to Brevard, visit this gem, and enjoy the creativity, the people and don't miss the impressive wine list.

Poor value. $15 dollars for 2 scallops. And charged 3 for an extra bread on a $150 meal. Food was actually pretty decent.
