We went with the Seoul Train, which is two half-pound chicken portions along with three sauces. Given the variation in heat tolerance, we went with three sauces that would satisfy me--someone who likes spicy food--as well as our kid, who does not do that great with the heat. And the food hit the mark for all three of us. What's noteworthy is that after splitting the two half-pound portions (and some coleslaw), we did not feel stuffed. So we decided to go with yet another half-pound portion, and finally at the end of it all, we were completely satisfied--our tummies full and our hearts singing. In terms of service, this is not a fancy place, so if you are looking to impress someone with white table linen, this is surely not the place. That said, the folks are helpful and polite. We ran into the owner of the restaurant toward the end of our meal and found him clearing tables. We chatted with him a bit and he made the joke all of us do: it is really his wife's place and he is just doing her bidding as is required of all husbands. The final endorsement probably comes from the fact that nearly six weeks later, as we were driving past the restaurant, my daughter who was in the back seat let out a "Mmmm! Soko Bag." I do work in the area and we come for lunch and happy hour regularly. It's a minute from the Target, Lowe's, BJs shopping center and has a nice private lot. It's changed a bit in the last decade. They got rid of the 2 pool tables and now have more seating in the dining room. There is a full bar in this area as well, tho often closed unless it's really busy. What hasn't changed? The food is still tasty. Great smoked meats and amazing lunch specials during the week. They also do a great job hiring good servers here, efficient and personable. I think Marissa is the only server I've known long term, but Audrey waited on us today and was absolutely wonderful. Having worked with vegan cheese companies over the years, there is a misconception that it is bad to leave the vegan cheese outside on the countertop - not really, it's not cheese.
