    Brisket!

Tasty bbq. The brisket is pretty stellar. "Fall of the bone" and well seasoned. I also had the bbq pulled pork sandwich. It was good. The sides were forgettable. The cornbread was disappointing. So bland. If the cornbread was better I'd give a better review. I would go back.

Ordered lunch from here twice with some of my co-workers about a month ago since we all had heard great things about this place. I was not the one who picked up the order, so I can't say much about the service. The only feedback I got was that they were very kind and grateful for the order, but both times we ordered the order ran behind on time significantly. I ordered the brisket and pulled chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and green beans. The mashed potatoes may hands down be the best I've ever had. They are SO creamy and cheesy and delicious. I would come back solely for them. The pulled chicken was very good as well! I fell the portion was generous and well seasoned. The brisket fell a bit short for me only because by the time I got it, it was cold which made it very dry. I'd try it again if I dined in though! The green beans were delicious! I believe there was some onion with them and they had a buttery flavor to them which was great. The second time I ordered I got a pulled pork sandwich, with some sides and a hot mess potato to try. The sandwich came with a side of barbecue sauce which was sweet with a little tang. Going to be honest though, the pork can stand on its own! I ate most of the sandwich without the sauce because it was juicy and the smoke was GREAT! Again, well seasoned. The sides weren't my favorite. The coleslaw was very tangy, which was just not my preference. The mac and cheese did not taste like it was seasoned. The consistency was great, it was creamy and cheesy and the pasta was cooked well, but it just didn't have much flavor. The baked beans were good, but more of a chili style, savory baked beans vs. a sweet type so it depends what you like. The hot mess was SO good, but again the order was delayed, so by the time I got it, it was cold. I reheated it and it was delicious! I would order here again, maybe just not on a time crunch or in a group more than 5 at a time since it seems like they can get a bit overwhelmed.

Stopped by after hearing this was some of the most authentic BBQ in the area... it was true! There were multiple smokers outside with fresh and delicious meat. In addition to entrees you can also purchase large servings to go. Very casual and relaxed environment.. and BYOB! Highly recommend for a casual lunch or dinner spot or some great takeout for the family. Authentic and delicious!

Open feeling place with fast friendly help. They have a great view from the outside seats of the lake behind it. I have the Beef spare ribs they are supper tender and flavorful. The baked beans have bits of pork belly and it makes it salty and sweet as a great balance.

We LOVE Farm Boy BBQ. We were eating here before they were at this location (they used to have their spot at the Sunoco gas station at the intersection of Routes 29 and 30). This is a great BBQ option in a suburban neighborhood that is not a chain. They make everything in house and have multiple smokers on site that you can see in action which is pretty cool. We've had their brisket, chicken, sausage, chili, and so much more. Everything has always been DELICIOUS! For desserts, you need to grab their banana pudding. Theirs is what got me into this specific dessert. Service is good. It's a bit overwhelming/confusing when you walk in to order for the first time. I don't think they have figured out the rhythm to an efficient/quick assembly line for the ordering, but I don't mind given that I have access to tasty BBQ in PA. Prices are okay. It's more than you'd pay for a quick service meal, but remember you are getting FANTASTIC Texas BBQ here in Pennsylvania. The owners smoke everything themselves and it's not processed or frozen/reheated. This is FRESH, DELICIOUS, AUTHENTIC, and (say it with me) WORTH THE MONEY!!! We gotta keep this local/small business in business, so please check them out!!!!! Rating 4/5 to be honest about their pricing being on the higher end and hard to navigate/confusing to order. Otherwise, the food is good and accessible in an area where BBQ is nonexistent.

Drove past this place and never knew it was there, so decided to stop in for dinner as we love BBQ. They have a nice set up here. You walk in and order your food at the counter and they have a decent amount of indoor seating plus outdoor seating. I wanted the brisket sandwich, but that was the same price as the brisket platter, which also came with 2 sides, so I went with the platter. The meat was already out on the counter and the lady sliced off 2 pieces as I ordered. The meat didn't appear to be under any sort of heating lamp or anything and it was luke warm when I ate it. While the flavor was pretty good, it was a little fattier than I like. For my sides, I got the creamy mashed potatoes and Mac-and-cheese, both of which I enjoyed. My wife didn't like her sides as much, which were the potato salad and baked beans but my son liked his crinkle cut fries. They only have one BBQ sauce here. My biggest negative was that there was no sweet tea. I can't have Texas BBQ without sweet tea! In fact, all drinks here are bottled. I prefer my places to have fountain soda where you can get refills. Yes, the place is on the pricier side, especially factoring in quantity of food and compared to another BBQ chain in the area. Everyone was nice and friendly though. I would eat here again, but per my wife, she wouldn't crave it or necessarily go out of her way to come back.

Don't judge my presentation-the food speaks for itself!! GET IN MY BELLY!!!

Stopped in for takeout brisket for the fam and ended up with 1.5 lbs of brisket and a pound of bacon, jalapeño, cheddar sausage! ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! The protein options are great! Lots to choose from and I'll definitely try others in the future. There are also a good amount of sides offered. I had my mind set on brisket so I didn't venture to anything else this evening. The restaurant is roomy and looks great for dining in. I'm assuming it was the owner that helped me and he was awesome. The young lady behind the register was a sweetheart as well. This would be an excellent place to order for an event....like Super Bowl!! Definitely check them out. Might be my fave BBQ on the Main Line!!!

    Nachos!

Nachos for $20 can feed like 4 people, it's great. Really yummy, more food than you'd get in chains and actually tastes fresh and IS fresh. Owners were working tonight and they are SO KIND. We have seen this spot continue to be built up and you can see the effort. The indoor seating is casual, perfect for a group of friends or a quick date night, but EVERYTHING is new! They have Thanksgiving pre order and we are planning to order Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. Such a great idea! Even good for office catering, you have to give them a shot! Some may say it's pricey but if you want good quality meat (they are family-owned and source premium meats) made fresh ON SITE, a smoker is literally outside, then fork up the extra bucks. If you want cheap stuff from a big chain with no thought, then go elsewhere and don't complain.

The Eagle has landed! I've already been a fan of Chef Paul Marshall's food for a few years at this point. But today, in Farm Boy's new home the food was off the hook! We had the rib-eye steaks for dinner and it was amazing! Prime beef, wood fired grill and no sous vides! Steak houses better watch out! And they already have the best BBQ anywhere! I just hope he starts making beignets again! This place is dine in and take out. 5 stars aren't enough! *New permanent location at 625 N. Morehall Rd Suite 100 Malvern PA 19355*

A friend tipped me off just two days ago about how he had found an EPIC Philly Cheesesteak out in…read morethe suburbs (without driving to Downtown Philly to Angelo's or Uncle Gus'!) Right near the Exton Mall, I swung by yesterday after shopping at Boscov's for Christmas presents and opted for a slice of the ir Pizza for a light lunch. Yes, I saw several of their cheesesteaks carried by to other customers but tasting one will be on my next trip, but the thick , generous portion of rib eye steak, Coooer cheese, spilling out of a seeded roll for an astounding $15 looks like an incredible deal. But I digress- this family- run restaurant knows how to make astonishingly great pizza, and can do any of their offerings on GLUTEN-FREE crust. They use Imported Italian flours and cook up their crusts crispy, well done, and delicious that beats the mouth-feel of anything I have had in the area. The meats are of superior quality and flavor, and everything is available by the slice and displayed in a case of fresh slices in so great a variety you will have difficulty choosing just one! The slice named "The Charlie" called out to me, totally on visual appeal, and I learned secondarily that it sported classic pizza sauce, creamy Mozerella, pepperoni, finished with pecorino Romano, fresh Basil, and hot honey- It knocked my socks off! Whether you are in the mood for an amazing pizza, or a cheesesteak, you've gotta try this place. It is clean, well staffed, with a great vibe! Find it a coupla blocks from the mall, on Lancaster Ave across the street from the Sherwin Williams paint store.

Ordered them both a standard cheesesteak wit. Unfortunately, mine had a nasty chunk of gristle, but was otherwise an 8.5. My companion was very happy with her usual chicken cheesesteak... Waiting for their feedback: don't let me down Gentili's. The feedback: the chef, very picky Italian chef, was blown away (his benchmark was Geno's, so). The Jersey Mike's fans were likewise impressed admitting Jersey Mike's is a bad facsimile... My mission to conquer mediocre and bad cheesesteaks, and uninformed/misinformed opinions, continues...
