Vesta quickly became one of my favorite pizza places in the Peninsula. All of their dishes use quality ingredients and their service and food quality is consistently peak with every visit. Highly recommend the sausage and honey pizza. Their pesto pies are also incredible as well as their seasonal offerings. Their style is different than other "Neapolitan" pizza spots in the area but I'd personally put them above Del Fina, Che Fico and Terun, which is saying a lot. read more

Got there right at opening and there was already a line formed outside. We were seating almost immediately and sat in their outside patio. First time eating here and was pleased with the food but they are a little pricey...$27 for a small pizza. Service was great. Our server was really friendly and accommodating, she helped my cousin decide which pie to get. Although, she didn't like or enjoy her selection because the crust was to thin for her liking and she did not care for the taste of the mushrooms. I on the other hand enjoyed my pizza, the pepperoni was not real salty and the Brown Sugar Lemonade was refreshing. Wowza! We heard about this place through BTS of course. We actually don't even listen much, but wanted to check it out. We arrived around 11:15 on a Saturday and it was surprisingly not very packed. I got seated right away, they only were maybe 30% full. We ordered mushroom toast and one of the pesto pizzas. Kinda wanted to do 2 pizzas but we weren't hungry enough. Server was awesome, unfortunately I don't remember his name but tall, skinny, gorgeous locks of hair, charismatic, and his favorite dish is the mushroom toast. Hope that's enough info! The mushroom toast was great. I don't know how but the texture of that bread was absolutely perfect. Perfectly toasted, not too crunchy, still nice spongy and flavorful, with fancy mushrooms in a cream sauce. Delicious! The pizza was also fantastic. To be honest the only upscale restaurant I've ever ordered pizza from is pizza antica at Santana row. I was never really blown away by that place, but for somewhere more popular and delicious, they charge just about the same price! Needless to say, pizza antica will never satisfy my fancy pizza craving. I'm coming to Vesta every single time I need to go SFO from now on. This place rocks! Neopolitan pizza place in downtown Redwood City. My wife comes for lunch sometimes and spoke highly of it so when we happened to be around on the weekend she was excited for the family to try. It's in a popular area so save time for parking, they do take reservations as well. I love the interior design, the layout remind me of Terun with the oven in front, bathrooms in the middle, and a heated back patio. Pinot + fresh squeezed lemonade: The lemonade had a disntinct darker brown color that we also get at home from fresh squeezed, the kids loved it. The pinot was a good light lunch drink and perfect with the pizza. Pork meatball appetizer with tomato sauce: My wife raved about these and I could see why, they are good tasting meatballs and the sauce with chunky bits of tomato and chunks of sliced parmesan paired well with it. Burrata plate: Burrata with salted pieces of country loaf bread, we got this first and it set the bar high. Luckily the rest of the meal was also good. Sausage and honey pizza: My wife said this was a must have and though it was good it tasted a bit too "fusion" to me like something you can find at CPK. Buffalo margherita: Loved this though the moisture from the buffalo does make this more "wet" than normal Neapolitan style. I've been coming to vesta for years and they are always consistently great all around. I came in on a Thursday with my family and we made a reservation though it wasn't busy yet. We came in soon after opening so it was pretty quiet inside. They had a nice outdoor section too but it was pretty hot. For starters we got the arugula hazelnut salad, Calabrian Caesar salad, meatballs with tomato sauce, pan fried zucchini cakes and their mushroom toast but we subbed crispy polenta instead of the toast. Both salads were tasty though I think they each needed more dressing since there were some dry bites in there. The meatballs were a crowd pleaser, everyone enjoyed them. Their tomato sauce was bright and rich in flavor. The mushrooms and polenta were comforting and satisfyingly savory. My favorite app ended up being those pan fried zucchini cakes. They were such a pleasant surprise they had a fresh and bright flavor from the lemon and yogurt sauce. There was a healthy amount of zucchini in each cake and not a lot of breading which I loved. They were still able to hold their shape though and made for a great bite For pizzas we went simple and just shared a pepperoni pizza and pesto cheese pizza. The pepperoni came with hot honey and was delicious. I appreciated that the pizza wasn't too floppy because sometimes with this style of pizza picking up a slice without everything falling off is difficult. But not with these. The pesto cheese was herby and savory. Definitely a bit greasy but the flavor was there so I wasn't mad at it We were so full and didn't have any room for dessert so we called it a night after this. I'd recommend ordering a red and white sauce to try while you're here. The pizza itself wasn't too oily and the flavors all meshed together really well. Inside is nice, though I found that only one single occ restroom for so much seating seamed an interesting choice. Waiter was also a good host of the table. While the ingredients seem to be of good quality and the pizza dough is well done, I felt the apps and pizzas fell short. Vesta is a perfect restaurant to visit in the summer when things are heating up and nights are warm. I came here with 2 friends and we enjoyed catching up over a bottle of bubbly, good appetizers (the mushroom toast, charred cauliflower, and zucchini cakes) and a couple pizzas. - The server was super friendly and gave us a great tour of the menu as we were all first timers. Made reservations here after my favorite K-pop group dined here three times and raved about it, so obviously I had to come! There weren't a ton of reservations available due to the recent popularity but I actually enjoyed coming in at 4pm to avoid the dinner crowd, and it was nice weather to dine outside in the patio. I preferred the patio just because in the inside was actually quite warm, due to the pizza oven in there. Parking wasn't too difficult at this time on a Saturday, we easily found metered parking less than a block away, but there are a couple of parking structures nearby as well. Service was top notch from the minute we arrived and spoke to the host. They were so kind to us and our children, and checked on us quite frequently, but not in an annoying way. So many great options on the menu - and I like that they separated them by red sauce and white sauce! I'm usually a white sauce fan but I just had to try the sausage honey pizza, which did not disappoint at all. The pizzas are thin crust but the best thin crust I've had - not crunchy or papery, just the right amount of softness and texture that you'd want! And since it was thin crust I wasn't getting too full off of the pizza dough. My husband and I easily shared the sausage honey pizza, but I would have loved to try that carbonara pizza! We didn't want to take any leftovers so I'm glad that we were able to at least finish one pizza without being too full. I went to Vesta for the first time for a family reunion of 9 people. We met on a Sunday and had to wait for 1.5 hours before we were seated. Thankfully the weather was good and there were outdoor activities. The pizzas were amazing. We got the Margherita pizza which my son loved, I think he ate the whole pizza. Went to my favorite pizza spot after the BTS World Tour "ARIRANG" live viewing in Busan with my chingus, most of whom are true ARMYs. We were so lucky to grab the last big table for our group of five! The place was packed with fellow ARMYs, and it honestly felt like the perfect way to keep the BTS excitement going. The staff are always so warm and friendly, and this time they shared some fun stories about BTS's visits. One time the members came in as a big group and ate at the restaurant. There was no sauce involved, but they were not dried out at all. There was some really unique flavor going on that I couldn't quite put my finger on, but we both loved these. We got 4 pizzas: the sausage and honey, classic margherita, mushrooms and onions, and the sausage and roasted garlic. The best thing about this spot is that they cook their pizzas in a wood fired oven. The crust comes out with just the right amount of char and has that perfect mix of crispy and chewy. Everything we ordered was delicious. The toppings tasted fresh, and each pizza had its own distinct flavor. My favorite was the sausage and roasted garlic pizza. Went to Vesta with two friends because we were excited to try a spot that BTS visited while they were in the area for their tour! We shared two pizzas: the Margherita (tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, olive oil) and the Sausage & Honey (tomato sauce, spicy Italian sausage, mascarpone, honey, serrano). Both were really yummy, but the Sausage & Honey was definitely the more interesting one to try. I actually really liked the balance of flavors in the Sausage & Honey. Despite the serrano, it wasn't overly spicy, and the honey added a nice sweetness to the pizza. It was a pretty cool combination, especially because I'm so used to pineapple being the "sweet" ingredient on pizza. (I know, I know... pineapple on pizza is a HOT TAKE lol). The honey gave me a different take on that sweet and savory pizza combination, and I really enjoyed it! For my fellow ARMYs, the Sausage & Honey is one of the pizzas BTS has tried here! They've also had the Pork Meatballs, Basque Cheesecake, Mexican Chocolate Bread Pudding, and Carbonara pizza. Now I have an excuse to come back and try all of those next time I'm in the area. One of the highlights was actually chatting with our male waiter about BTS. He was super sweet when we mentioned them! He didn't personally know much about BTS, but he had heard of them because their Mexico tour stop had been all over his social media. He told us that when his manager warned everyone that some VIPs were coming in, he initially thought it was going to be Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, since they had eaten there before. He also said BTS were very down to earth and kind, and mentioned that they had visited Vesta a few times. Once with all seven members and another time with only four members. I thought that was such a cute little behind the scenes story to hear from someone who was actually working there! The restaurant itself is on the smaller side, but we were seated outside and thankfully had a nice shaded area because it was pretty sunny the day we went. After hearing fr m BTS, that pizza from Vesta Pizza in Redwood City was awesomeness very good, my cousin from Lucerne, Switzerland who just flew in to watch BTS, in Baltimore, we immediately drove to Vesta Pizza to try the pizza. Best dining experience! It was my first time visited, and I also heard the pizza was amazing. I'm so glad I checked it out! We ordered a thin-crust pizza with pineapple that had a flavor combination I'd never tried before, and it was absolutely delicious. First let's start with the good things: We really liked the ambiance of Vesta. We sat in the back patio and enjoyed a beautiful Saturday lunch in Redwood City. Our host and waiter were really nice and friendly. I also liked that you can tell the ingredients they use to make the pizza is fresh. We ordered the Sauvignon blanc, pork meatballs, grilled sourdough bread, margarita pizza and the sausage & honey pizza. The pork meatballs to me were the best part of the lunch. I liked how it was cooked. Very juicy and the tomato sauce was light. Though I would say tomato sauce was a touch too light. Otherwise I would give those meatballs a 8.2/10! The grilled sourdough bread was pretty good. Nicely toasted and perfect with a side of balsamic. The wine was also tasty! 9/10 to both of those. Let's get to the not so good things: If you like fresh ingredients and lean more towards the light seasoning side of eats, this may be the place for you. Unfortunately for us we felt the margarita pizza was lacking. The pizza didn't hold up well with the tomato sauce and cheese just slides off into the plate as you're picking it up. I'll fault that to the fat content of the cheese plus the olive oil. The outer crust was just crispy enough so that was okay. I think this pizza would benefit greatly from just a bit more salt. Sadly I'm going to have to give that a 5.1/10. The sausage & honey was decent. We felt the tomato sauce had a big step up in flavor compared to the margarita pizza but then it made me question if all this flavor is coming from the honey? Not sure but it was actually the one we ate the most of. 6.4/10. Both pizzas still just could not keep their toppings and cheese on. Wood fired oven pizza that BTS went to multiple times while they had their show in Stanford May 2026. They raved how good the pizza is! Recommend making a reservation on Open Table and we even asked if we can sit where they sat. The servers and staff were so friendly and open and very excited to hear fans come and check it out, they even gave us stickers! They said that since BTS came with many people they ordered practically the whole menu but what stuck out to them or what they ordered multiple times were the sausage and honey pizza and carbonara pizza. Our server also recommended the mushroom toast which was really good. The pizzas take about 25 mins so they recommend ordering some other things while you wait, we did a kale and I think Caesar salad which was really good. I think we also added a pepperoni pizza, so we had 2 salads, mushroom toast, and 3 pizzas for 4 adults and a toddler. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, they over drinks and I really enjoyed the pizza dough, texture, flavors, and overall it was really good. It was busy for a Friday evening, parking can be a little difficult, there's some parking garages and street parking nearby but give yourself some time to find parking. Went here on a Tuesday evening and was easily able to get reservations! The cutest little patio space and delicious options for pizza. Would recommend the cauliflower app and the carbonara pizza - def the faves! Would absolutely go again- service was exceptional. Vibes vibes vibes! read more

We come to Vesta often for their margarita pizza: thin, fresh tomato sauce, and nice layer of toppings. Tried their daily special sweet potato soup with coconut milk and lemon yogurt this time. 3.5/5. Not very impressed. I could barely taste the coconut milk, and the consistency needed to be a bit creamier. The lemon yogurt it's an interesting addition but not necessarily enhanced the flavor either. What boost my review is our server, Cindy. She's friendly, efficient, and very professional. read more

Thanks to everyone who recommended the mushroom toast because... wow. We ordered the sausage and honey pizza, kale salad, mushroom toast, and cheesecake. The toast really stole the show and I could've eaten an entire meal with just that. Pizza was good, but the crust was a little too chewy for me. It gave me a bit of a jaw workout towards the end of the meal, and the kale salad was solid. The price was very fair! Service was friendly and quick. They do a wonderful job with pacing your meal. The ambiance was casual and clean. I loved that they spaced the tables out well so it was a good vibe but each party had some privacy to talk. The area is super cute and the weather was lovely so we sat outside and had the best time. Definitely recommend for a yummy slightly upscale casual eat :) read more
