You just sorta park on the side of a driveway that loops around the whole building. I brought my papillon here after our prior animal hospital closed down. That is, after much research in finding a new one. Rex and I were pleased with our first visit. All of the staff are pleasant and Dr. Goldmann seemed to be top notch. His care, his suggestions, advice and the whole experience really left me feeling comfortable after only 1 visit. It was only an annual checkup, but it was our first time together and his first time meeting Rex. Rex can be nervous around strangers, doctors and anyone messing with his body. The staff and Dr were careful, patient and simply perfect when working with him (shots, drawing blood, everything). I'm quite pleased and happy to continue returning here. The only other point I'll note is that they don't submit insurance claims for patients here. I've been to 3 other animal hospitals over the years and they all do this. So, if you have pet insurance, you'll have to submit the claims yourself.

Zero empathy, zero paperwork handed to me, not even a "I'm so sorry to hear this.. take a seat and I'll come back with some paperwork for you". I was so taken back by the woman's rude and cold demeanor, even other patients looked over at me shaking their heads. This is an ANIMAL hospital. Have some empathy. You best believe I took my bunny and walked right out and a full week later, this is still something that sits heavy on my heart. I will never recommend this place especially if that god awful woman works there.

She helped our pets immensely with various therapies and treated us like family throughout. Dr. Gillman is just amazing. We called ahead and explained the situation and were assured due to the seriousness (as she was in much pain) her care would be prioritized. Upon arrival, the staff had a table all ready for us, and immediate action was taken to prep her for examination. It was respectfully, professionally, and tactfully communicated to us the exact diagnosis our cat was under, along with the reasons why that conclusion could be made. Unfortunately it was a fatal condition and nothing could be done besides relieving her pain. She lived a long and happy life of 18 years. Despite the outcome, the staff was empathetic and supportive during the process and afterwards. The loss of a pet is never easy, but the way the situation was handled was the best it could have been. We called several local veterinary clinics. We got a lot of recorded messages, and spoke to one guy who was not enthusiastic about helping. I finally tried County Animal Hospital and Wendy answered the phone. She was sympathetic and seemed genuinely interested in helping us. She spoke to Dr. Wiener and we were able to work something out. At 5:30 pm still no vet came to our room but I could hear that other rooms that came after us had been visited by the vet. My cat is white but I'm black and I'd hate to think it was racial but an older white woman came in with her cat 40 minutes after us and her cat was seen before ours. Our dear dog Ginger turned 14 last year and her health quickly began to fade mid November. We know her time was coming to an end. By Thanksgiving we all knew - and she did too. We met with Dr. G and his staff and they were so nice, so gentle, so considerate of her and myself. After all, Ginger had been going there since she was a puppy. I do appriciate all they did and I will be always be grateful for Dr. G. and his staff. We had her creamted and just this past week spread her ashes in the backyard (which she loved).

He suddenly ruptured a mass on his spleen and was told twice by two separate hospitals that he more than likely had cancer and would pass away shortly even with surgery if it was cancerous. We were heartbroken thinking we were spending our last moments with our baby. Dr Miccio has been his primary vet for some time now and spoke life back into the situation, my dog and my family. She gave us realistic hope again. She explained the risks and the realities if it was cancer once the spleen was removed and biopsied. Long story short, HE IS CANCER FREE. Dr Miccio is godsend and truly is a healthcare professional because she cares about the health of her patients. I am forever grateful to Dr Miccio and the whole staff that helped my baby recover and be given a chance at more life when others were ready to bury him.
