Our family had to make the hard decision of putting down our beloved Brutus, a sweet 11 year old Mastiff. His hind legs had given out and it was near impossible to try to move him, let alone get him in a car. We talked to Blanca over the phone several times to figure out if this was the right decision for us and Brutus and she assured us that he would be in great hands. Thank you Blanca for being so compassionate and sweet during this difficult time for us! Dr. Fanning and her assistant were prompt and professional (very knowledgeable), but also very sympathetic to what we were going through. Overall, Vets here made a very unpleasant situation bearable for us as a family, we're very thankful for their services. The Simon Family

VETS HERE came to our home in Moorpark twice visiting us. The knowledge and compassion was outstanding. The stress of taking a pet to a structure is not worth it ever again. Thank you for your SERVICE. Chase and O'Reilly are very grateful.

I've always been worried that a mobile vet would be way too expensive and had put off calling. I can't say enough about how happy I am to have found this mobile vet! We called today because our Saint Bernard was limping and they were here within a very reasonable amount of time. We've had vets in the past take advantage of us because we love our pets and will do what is necessary to keep them in good health. We felt comfortable with them right away and they were very upfront about everything. Both of my dogs absolutely loved them. They are able to do X-rays and surgery right in their van and we will definitely use them from now on and recommend them to all our friends!

When we ran into making the hard end of life decision for our 15 year old amazing pup Tuck we didn't know what to do- the poor guy couldn't get into the car any more. We googled mobile vets and we were pleasantly surprised at the kind, gentle, patient vet and assistant who showed up to our door. Thank you for making a hard day a little easier. I wish we had learned about Vet's Here a little sooner since she offers full services right at your home. Take the trauma out of the vet and give Vet's Here a call.

The mobile vet experience with Dr Fanning has been nothing short of life changing for my neurotic German Shephard.

My cat and I were placed in an examining room (with an examining table) for a very long time. An unfriendly female staff person walked in and (weirdly) took my cat in his carrier away from me to a back room (I was not allowed to accompany my cat); leaving me waiting (behind a closed examining room door) for a very long time. I went to see where my cat had been taken (my poor cat (in his carrier) was left; on the floor; all alone; completely neglected. (Dr. Bettina was not there; she was late; I was told absolutely nothing about her lateness). When she finally showed up (after doing out of my sight "only God knows what" to my cat) she tried to sell me an additional vaccine that my cat's medical records clearly showed he wasn't due for until 2028. She also tried to get me to buy the cat food sold there (which I did not need). There was a cage in the (very scary to the poor kittens) very large front window that had 2; poor; screaming; terrified; traumatized; "up-for-adoption" kittens that the staff completely ignored; that they left to suffer in intense fear. The clinic itself is aged and smells very musty (it was flooded 3 years earlier with creek water) and has obviously not been professionally cleaned and/or maintained. They don't care about the animals; they don't care about you. I (WE) ARE NOT GOING BACK.

However in the morning I noticed he had several "foxtails" embedded in his pajamas (hairless dog - wears clothes on cool days) then I noticed the swelling between back toes and knew he had a foxtail. I called my friends at St. Frances Animal Hosp but they were swamped with only one vet and closing soon... but they told me about UVC - I drove over and within an hour we were done! My pup as recovering from sedative, foxtail in a test tube to share as a warning to friends and neighbors and a GREAT experience with highly skilled staff and professional, friendly, experienced and well trained veterinarian. Without running any tests the vet came back and said it might be cancer. I acknowledged that may be the case but thought it was alarmist and premature to say that. The technician came back after cleaning the ear up to say they at this point they do agree it's a wound with possible infection, not cancer. Although they wanted to meet with me to go over the treatment and meds before I left, they forgot to put an antibiotic medicine dispenser in my bag, and three separate times I had to remind them to go back and give my (feral) cat his first dose of antibiotics, and flea meds, and remind them again to check for worms. They also forgot to give me topical antiseptic pads so I can clean the wound. I think they are training young interns who have no idea what they are doing.
